About The Albion
The Albion Public House and Dining Rooms was refurbished recently and transformed into one of Bristol’s most prominent destinations. With its modern British cuisine, real ales, extensive wine list and sunny courtyard, the Albion is now firmly at the heart of Clifton Village life.
Excellent service all evening, really enjoyed
We booked a table for 3 but were placed around a table for 2 so was a little bit squashed, but we coped. We noticed some tables received greens such as cabbage and broccoli with their roast dinner whilst we had cauliflower cheese - something we didn't know was an option (We're not biggies on cauliflower cheese so it would have been good to know that there was a different option available.) The staff were lovely and deco of the pub is wonderful.
Great food and atmosphere. Really enjoyed night! Thank you!
Had a fantastic lunch there on Sunday with my family, service was great. Our waiter was really attentive and nothing was too much bother for him. Food was delicious, our only criticism would be to offer a chicken breast option for the roast dinner. The chicken available was a spatchcock which didn't have much meat on at all. Other than that was a great meal and would love to come back. Thanks so much.
Waiter was very attentive & did a fantastic job .Limited vegan options and the main vegan option had sold out which was disappointing. Lively busy pub . Food was good In general.
We are all really impressed with the food and the service received was amazing! Thanks for a great Sunday lunch!
An excellent evening , good beer and food, dog friendly an added bonus, thank you
Lovely service from a really friendly guy and characterful and cosy dining areas. Some food on the menu wasn’t available but that’s the only criticism. Will definitely return when in Clifton next.
Great steaks, great service. Perfect Monday evening out.
Good atmosphere food and service
Cosy and welcoming! Great dog friendly pub...
Excellent food and great afternoon out.
All great until a very loud group of 12 14 were seated behind our party in the dinning area. They were really drunk and loud (having been to rugby!). The table next to us complained at the noise and language and we could no longer talk to eachother as couldn't hear. Staff should have moved them on or not put them there. Downer on an otherwise lovely night.
Very well looked after, thank you all very much.
Reserved upstairs for a birthday (for just a refundable deposit) and we had excellent service in lovely environment. Really pleased and had a great night. Thanks
I took my family here on Sunday and we had the nicest afternoon with a leisurely Sunday roast. The food was gorgeous- some of the best pork crackling and apple sauce, then a lamb shank roast ending in affogato dessert. Absolutely superb! Lovely wine too in a cosy, warm atmosphere in a lovely pub. Totally recommend!
The guy who served us was fantastic, please pass on our thanks, food was great,we will be back again at some point, great place to have my birthday meal 🎂
I booked a table in the private dining area for 19 people. We were well looked after and the food was great. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place to book with any size group.
Lovely food and drink. We had the roast beef, lamb shank and chicken for the kids. Bath Ales 80 shilling was perfect winter beer, topped off with a wonderful sticky toffee pudding. Excellent service, and wood burners at either end of the upstairs dining area gave great cosy feel
Delicious food, great atmosphere and didn’t feel rushed off the table. Will definitely go back and recommend to others
A great experience and one to be repeated. We were very warmly welcomed and serviced with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.
