Very noisy while a large party were drinking prior to being seated.
Came pre-theatre so a bit rushed but the staff were very good at getting us through. The 4 main dishes were really excellent. I thought the starters were a bit dry and slightly over cooked with the exception of the chicken. This was our first visit and I expect we will be back for a more leisurely meal!
We haven't been here since 2001! Food still as fabulous and excellent service
I do not agree with service charge,we should be allowed to give what think is right amount to the person serving us.
The food was beautiful. Everything we ordered was flavoursome and delicious. The service we receiedywas top notch, waiting staff were extremely polite and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. A very enjoyable evening.
Fabulous food. Always full of flavour & well presented. Service exemplary. Quiet atmosphere but excellent if you actually want to chat to your friends. Would definitely recommend & we will return.
initial delay in getting our drinks but otherwise excellent
Good quality and choice of food, and the Sunday buffet is excellent value!
Always lovely food and the staff are so friendly
Really enjoyable meal, you’re not sat on top of other diners Food excellent Service lovely
Thank you for making our works get together an enjoyable evening. Fabulous service, excellent food and we would highly recommend.
A wonderful eating experience. Our first visit but it won’t be the last. The chicken massaman curry was gorgeous & the flavours in the sauce were to die for!! The mixed starters were also tasty & a little bit different - we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Service attentive without being intrusive. I would highly recommend Thai Edge.
Beautiful food great portion sizes Came for a special occasion couldnt find fault in anything
We were excited to visit this restaurant and we were treating 2 relatives for a special celebration, however, unfortunately the evening turned out to be very disappointing. After being shown to our table we were waiting at least 15 mins before a waitress arrived to ask if we wanted drinks. When the food arrived it was plonked on the table and there were weren't enough spoons to serve ourselves the banquet. There were no staff around to ask for some serving spoons. No -one came to ask if everything was alright and no-one offered to refresh our drinks. This is unusual for Thai restaurants as the staff are usually attentive. The food was alright and quite tasty but very unexciting, particularly by way of presentation. The desserts were poor (frozen) and we didn't finish them. At one point I had to ask someone to remove some empty beer bottles and glasses in order to make room on the table for the main dishes. We were disappointed as we were recommended by friends to this restaurant but granted that was about 12 months ago, obviously things have changed. It was a Friday evening and was only 50% full and lacking atmosphere. Overall this was a mediocre meal/ experience for a cost in excess of £200 for 4 people.
The early bird menu was very tasty and we loved the experience. Looking forward to enjoying the full menu in the near future.
We’ll surely comeback! Excellent food!
Lovely meal, thank you
We came for lunch as part of our Away Day in the city. In the hope we could keep lunch to an hour, we put in a pre-order the day before (everything was confirmed by email apart for the contents of one soup, which I emailed confirmation of on the morning of the Away Day and then confirmed again on our arrival). While the food was really lovely - the service was slow despite the preorder. We didn't get our starts until after 12.20 (we arrived at 12pm) and then had to wait for our mains again. This meant we ran over by 20 minutes which put us behind for the rest of the day. The service was courteous but there were no explanations about the delay and there was no sense that people were working efficiently to ensure timely service. I love the food at Thai Edge - the quality is high. But I wouldn't book it for a work situation again - the service is just too slow.
enjoyed my visit with 8 of my family. Was given a round table which was great . We had the buffet and drinks and found it very good value for money. The food was good for the price and there was choice - the best thing been the soup for me. I would say to improve the food needs to be warmer and the rice and pad tai needs to be top up with smaller amounts more regular to keep it fresher. Overall though a nice day the staff were lovely and a good atmosphere
Excellent quality food with friendly service
We have visited several times for lunch and absolutely loved it. We do not live near Leeds but when we were going to be there on a Sunday evening we took the opportunity to go along to the Sunday buffet. How disappointed we were. We waited some considerable time before we were able to order a drink. We were anticipating lovely food. Not to be. The starters were look warm. What should have been lovely tempura batter was soggy. The main courses were also tepid. In several of the servers there was very little food. They were never refilled during our visit. The sushi bar provided good fresh food but since when did sushi become a Thai dish? Fresh fruit for dessert was fine. We had been so looking forward to this meal hence our disappointment.
had antons signature dish, delightful and looked five star brilliant!
The only criticism I would have was the chipped plates but everything else was great
We loved the restaurant, food, drinks and service. The chilli prawns and chicken teriyaki were delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you and very well done to all the team at Thai Edge
