Beth is a fab waitress! And the cocktails are amazing. We went for my friends birthday and they made a right fuss of her and she was very embarrassed as the resterant was full but a brilliant meal thank you
Fantastic staff, service, food, drinks fabulous night out at the Eldon square venue we will definitely be returning & would recommend to everyone to go
Very very slow service, took over 20minutes to get the bill even after asking a waitress and going to the bar. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. atmosphere was terrible and the food and drinks were very overpriced.
It was my son s birthday and he chose to come to the Newcastle Eldon square branch for a change. I have ceoliac disease and had to wait nearly 10 mins after the rest of the family had placed their food order . Then the manager stood over me and spoke to me like a child asking what I was allergic too in a loud slowed down voice. The order came and again I had to wait for my pitifully looking salmon .. Which was dry and certainly not seasonal veg ! ( Black mushrooms and greasy peppers) and a splodge of cold mashed potato .. certainly not worth £16 pounds !! Then at the end we had to wait ages for the bill . As the staff were going to sing to my son.. Jack the waitress asked his name 3 times .. Then got everyone to sing to Jake!!! Have had better service at your metro center branch in the past.
It was my birthday and got treated with some cake very happy waiters were really nice
Food and service was amazing, we had a lovely evening Thankyou
Waitress Abby was super friendly and polite and very attentive
Food was awful the loaded potato skins were practically empty, the salmon was dry the mash that went with it was cold and the two burgers were also extremely dry and unpleasant to eat. Not impressed at all and very off putting
Chips and potato skin need improvement
Damon was warm and professional, excellent in providing suggestions on cocktails and food
Lovely food and drinks. Service quick and efficient would definitely recommend
Food took an hour to arrive and when it did it was dry and burnt in places. We left after we paid for our drinks. First time I've had a bad experience. Maybe it's just this particular restaurant. Don't think I'll risk it again the weekend before Christmas though.
We loved it. Service was great staff were super helpful and lovely.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, we were seated quickly and our orders were taken and food served promptly. Cost was reasonable.
Very friendly and efficient service, had a great meal
Booked for work Christmas party, unfortunately not a great experience. 4 members of the party ordered steak as part of the festive menu to then be told whilst eating our starters (well after the order was made) that they had no steak left, we asked if we could instead have the steak from the main menu and thankfully this was agreed however the catch was that those 4 steaks would mean that no dessert would be provided from the festive 3 course menu. 1 person ordered the "All the trimmings" from the festive menu, what arrived was absolutely nothing like described! Rubbery inedible chicken served with chips and soy sauce is not a festive meal! When complained about a side dish of mashed potato was given. This meal was not eaten and complained about again, the only response received was that the waitress would pass on the feedback. Very disappointed and will certainly not be returning!
It appears that no one read what I wrote in the extra information box, I requested that the food would be quickly served as we needed to go, as well as queiring whether we could pre order food. It appeared that both requests were ignored. In addition to this, I changed my reservation as it said I could on the email to 5 people, and definitely clicked save, but there was only a table for 4 booked when we arrived; it was quite embarrassing. We were also disappointed to realise no one read that the reservation was for a friend’s birthday, as no one acknowledged this apart from the waitress merely when making small talk and it came into conversation. I hope to hear back about this matter.
This venue had no knowledge of my booking which was disappointing when I had received confirmation! Luckily it wasn’t too busy so we still got at table at the time slot required, although it obviously wasn’t ready. I feel that needs to be looked at as had it been later on in the day we would have probably not got a table!
Service delivery of food was slow, lots of plated meals under lamp but staff were slow getting to the tables
Service slow in particular waiting for our drinks!
Great food and very friendly staff.
Thank you for a wonderful evening the food was amazing and the service was very friendly and efficient.
Having been before I expected more to be honest. Started off really well. The table was ready for 3 as booked. Drinks arrived and food order was taken. The Sesame chicken was lush but what was with the dried up, deep fried parsnips!! Different for sure. I ordered the All The Trimmings expecting a dish with seasonal vegetables and a nice piece of chicken. I got a plate of dried chicken!! What felt and tasted like Smash dried potato, more of the dried parsnip things and my seasonal veg was swede (i think) peppers and mushrooms!!! None of which was cooked well. The chicken was as dry as sticks and had the same flavour. Dessert, can't get a Sundae wrong can we. Warm Apple and Blackberry Sundae. Never saw a Blackberry, I had Warm apple and Blueberry. Not a single person came along and asked if this was acceptable! The staff were not exactly at the top of their game if I am honest. The final insult came when they added and extra item to the bill in the hopes no-one actualy read the receipt handed to us by a cheerless member of the waiting crew!! I am extremely disappointed with the food and service today.
They took them odd mins to serve the food and also while offering us the bday cake. They didnt give us the knife to cut the cake. So unorganised. We also order grilled Salmon meal and the waitress said theu were running out of salad. Thats such a bad experience.
