Leave room for freshly prepared desserts like the brownie obsession, chocolate fudge fixation and the cookie dough sundae.
Too long waiting for the table and food. It took 2h to get the food to the table from our booking time. Good food as always at TGI.
It was hard to get the waitresses attention but once we did they were attentive.
There was NO beers at all and very limited alcohol for cocktails as you had no delivery that day and the semi finals were at Wembley the day before. It would’ve been nice to have been told as I’d prebooked my table as 12 of us were there for my daughters 18th birthday and it was not a good experience. There was ZERO atmosphere and the staff just mulled around doing nothing. I don’t think I’d bother going again.
Very slow service, waited over an hour for drinks alone and when asked waitress she seemed abrupt and wasn’t happy, very rude.
Great service, very friendly waiter
The seating area was dirty and the covering worn and had cuts in places. We had to clean the seats before sitting down. Underneath the table was also dirty. No one came to take our order. We had to call a member of staff after waiting 15 mins or so. Food arrived quite quickly and was enjoyed.
We went to TGI Fridays for my daughters birthday (family group of 9) and she had a lovely time and especially loved the birthday song and slice of cake. Staff were very polite, patient and attentive. The food was brought out in good time and served on hot plates, which should be done in every restaurant....so well done TGI we felt like we could talk and eat whilst the food stayed warmer for longer. Cocktails could have had less ice and more juice and alcohol for the price (large £10.99). If you took the ice out I’m sure the cocktail would have been less than 1/4 of the glass. We didn’t have dessert because we were all too full but will definitely be going back to try the pecan caramel tear and share, so maybe go for lighter starter and mains next time. Overall good experience.
There was 5 adults and 2 children in my party. The food for the adults was amazing as always. However the children's meals were not, we ordered the pasta and tomato sauce and the meatballs and pasta, when the pasta arrived it was cold and a little hard, I told the waitress she took both children's food away and told me it would be replaced. When the waitress brought back both dishes to my amazement she had actually brought back the same pasta and it was still cold!!!! My 2 year old grandson didn't eat the pasta he had some of our chips and burgers. My 6 year old granddaughter did eat some of the pasta (had it of been edible she would of finished the whole thing as she loves pasta). When it come to paying the bill I did tell our waitress and she spoke to the manager and the result was that we didn't pay for the 2 children's meals. This has not put me or my family off coming to TGI FRIDAYS but am not sure I would try the children's menu again.
The websire was great to reserve a table, every member of staff was happy, smiling some even singing too ( dark lady with bun, what a voice!) which brought great cheer to our family on mother's day, we have been here once before and will come again, lovely atmosphere and good wonderful too 😊 thankyou
I was running late and whoever Ispoke to on the phone was rude and disrespectful. However the host that we had was lovely
Service was very slow
Indra was very friendly and welcoming She’s the best
Taken in to account it was a busy services , the food was still only acceptable , we order a starter which took ages to come , once it came a few mins later the main meal came , the server just stood there looking at us then said shall I put it back under the heater . Why would you suggested this , putting it back under the heater will only dry it out and we return to us as luke warm . I complain about the alcoholic drink I had . There was about 20 ml of fluid which was top up With ice . Couldn’t even taste any alcohol and when complained I was told that how it made by the manager . I pay £ 6.99 for a glass of ice water .... This was a mother’s day meal . Nothing special on the menu to celebrated this day . Disappointed!!
Enjoyable and well served meal on a busy day.
We waited 5mins to be seated , the waiter goes and try’s to put us on a table which hadn’t been cleared, then he decides to put us somewhere else then says i shouldn’t sit you here but it’s ok! Then took 20mins to atcually get served by someone and the restaurant wasn’t busy. We had waiters and waitresses putting used plates on tables around us which was very disgusting it was all left there over 40mins ! We had four people come to the table not even the same waitress/waiter to ask how our food was. Then we paid for the bill after waiting 15mins, another worker appears asking us to pay the bill and my partner said we already have ! There was no communication in there and quite frankly ruined my partners birthday meal . Very disappointed
Service was disgustingly poor and staff were not friendly or willing to serve us. The drinks took half and hour and only arrived after reminding the waitress on multiple occasions that we still hadn't received them same story with the food taking over an hour to arrive at the table again we had to ask how long it would be. Overall the poor service really ruined my birthday meal for me and my friends which we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately I won't be going to TGI Fridays any time soon in the future due to this poor experience.
I have been here twice within the last six months and been disappointed with the service. Some of the orders were incorrect and then at the end I was charged. This was a disappointment.
Drinks took 30mins to arrive and one of them was incorrect. 40mins to order food. Seated close to the toilets, this in itself is no issue but every time the door opened a horrendous smell followed. When the food did arrive the burger tasted extremely dry. I've been to several other TGI's and they've all been great, this one was really bad.
I was told when i got there we were sitting crammed in a corner with a buggy and blocking 2 tables and a wheelchair. I had to ask to move and was told the huge empty space of tables was closed. The had to ask to open a table in that area and it was by the door so was cold everytime someone came in. The place was so noisy and the service slow. There was at least 10 plates all the time under the hot lamps and no one taking out food. I got the food after a long wait and the person just went off didnt ask if we wanted sauce or anything. I ordered a steak and it was tiny for like £20. I then had to find someone to get a steal knife and was given a dirty look like it was a hassle for them to get a steak knife for a steak.
Service was slow with multiple servers so we never knew who to ask. One woman who brought our food out was extremely rude. When we asked her for a drink she said well who’s your server I’ll have to ask them. We said well we don’t know. Then a man said he was but we didn’t see him again and actually saw him leave with his bag and coat on.
First of all I have not received my receipt. Second I was waiting too long for main dish.I was asking for burger without onion I got with onion. Hate this time in TGI Fridays. Last time I visited TGI in Watford, amazing staff and place
Our waiter was lovely and extremely helpful considering that there was obviously a problem with the service - it was painfully slow and anytime we complained we were ‘sorry we are busy, it’s first come first served’ even though we had a reservation. We were there half an hour before a drinks order was taken and then waited another half an hour to actually receive the drinks. The food was expensive and the meat overcooked. We will not be going again.
