Waitress and waiter both had nice smiles and a sense of humour!!!
Thank you very much for your kind help and service from start to end was absolutely fantastic thank you very much for your help
Firstly I would like to say your front of house Young Man was Approachable,Polite, Nice Smile and although we were late for our table booking we were seated immediately even with all the football guests our table was saved. The young lady who served us that evening Tia .M was a very sweet nicely spoken and polite young lady. And again although we had wanted the share special for £20 Tia had informed me that wasn't possible as it's event night at the stadium,so I politely asked if she could ask a manager if I could still order as it was what I had come for as it was also my Birthday that day.Without delay she went and came back to inform her manager said yes was even more impressed to the speed of my order i waited no more than 10minutes which I appreciated. My only criticism would be the sweetcorn as delicious as they looked the taste was soggy as if boiled in water for too long then put on the grill there was no crunch other than that was happy with all of my meal especially my Birthday song & cake. I said to my teenager daughter with me if you notice all the staff are seemingly happy and all are polite when greeting or even speaking with each other so said to her she should definitely work at TGI when she starts Uni. All in all a nice evening and atmosphere. 😊
Fantastic environment the waiter was fantastic
Very slow service for our mothers day meal. Drinks took an hour to come. Food took even longer! By that time we were all so hungry. Staff were trying to be helpful but the service was poor. In my opinion more staff were needed as it was guaranteed to be a busy sunday. Would not recommend.
It was a lovely atmosphere! We celebrated Mother’s Day. Luckily we booked prior as the waiting time for a table of 3 was over an hour! It was very busy in there, which was expected due to it being mothers day! The service was good, we waited around 30mins for our food, this is abit longer than usual. This is likely due to the restaurant being very busy. I loved the food and will definitely return soon!
The JD wings were burnt barely edible. order came with 1 portion of fries and sesame strips missing. The drinks took ages to arrive
After waiting for half an hour in the rain we eventually checked in. Then it took a further 15 mins to find us a table which was actually two tables of 2 so my partner was sat on a separate table. We were seated with no menus and after a further 15 mins my partner had to go and ask for menus. After ordering our meals and drinks we waited a further 20 mins before asking for our drinks. Then another 25 mins passed so we had to ask for our starters. Luckily the person we asked was the manageress. If it wasn’t for her we would have walked out. As for the food, my partner loved his steak. However myself and my mother had the Jack Daniel ribs and subsequently have both had a terrible upset stomach. The manageress and apologised again and gave us 25% off our bill which we were grateful for. I do understand and can appreciate it was Mother’s Day. However, we ended up being in your restaurant for over 3 hours and considering all the events that have taken place, we would never set foot in this restaurant again.
Even though i book a table in advance it wasnt ready when we came, ware eaiting to be acknokedged on arrival as well, nobody asked for booking reference and was treated as walk in customers. It was my sons birthday dinner and let the staff know at a time of bookibg but it seems to be not taken into consideration or simply forgotten
We had a booking on a match day and whilst we appreciated it was busy I do expect my table to be ready and at the right size!. You tried to squeeze 6 of us on a table of 4 and simply walked off. I then had to find someone to provide a table that would sit my party. I was very disappointed with the response of the staff member when I asked for a adequate table.
Great food and venue but service always pretty slow in this place! Nothing to do with the young man who served us... he was lovely... I think he just had too much to do! Waited 10 minutes or more to be asked what drinks we wanted then decided to order drinks and food together and starters then arrived before drinks. The restaurant was only one third full when we arrived - not sure what would happen on a match day when it was at capacity! Great food though and I guess that's the main thing!
No one paid attention to the notes stating it was a Birthday booking. Had to mention it again on arrival where I was told there would be a little ‘surprise from TGIs’ After starters, mains, dessert for my group, over 3 hours seating and watching a 40th birthday and someone else’s birthday who arrived after me being sung happy birthday from TGIs, i asked for the bill as my party had to leave. I was not going to BEG on my own birthday for ‘special’ service I witnessed everyone else get. Alcohol and desserts were ordered and not once did our waitress even wish me happy birthday. I came for the atmosphere. This was not the case. Disappointed comes no where near how I feel. I also expressed my feedback upon leaving to our waitress with no care shown, just a slice of cake in a bag (which I ordered for dessert).
Not up to what I expected Reservations done 4 days ago for still not up to standards expectations
Poor service, over priced and poor quality.
To be honest the person who took our order was quite rude and impatient putting my friends off from ordering, the food on the menu didn’t look nice at all yet surprisingly expensive. Overall, I’ll never go back to TGI’s as everything woithout exaggeration was terrible and from now on I’ll go to other restaurants such as nandoes. Thank you
Great place, food was quality. Only thing you have to queue for a long time even if you’ve made a reservation before hand. Don’t make reservations on the day as you still have to wait for a table when very busy.
We liked the layout but unfortunately we had to ask to be moved because the table, cocktail menus and seats were sticky. Our second table was better but still not great. The venue was not particularly busy so we see no excuse for this. We ordered the Meet Me in Tennessee as well as other dishes. The menu stated this was suitable for 3-4 people but unfortunately a single starter ordered separately contained more than double of what was on a single dish on the Meet Me in Tennessee. However, the food was very nice and arrived to our table quickly and hot. Would definitely visit again.
ques was horrendous to get in and very disorganized, maybe there should be a second person managing the people who have booked a table, and food took ages to come even though we could see the food no one was grabbing it to bring it to us so it arrived Luke warm.
Long queue to get in, it was valentines day so understand it was busy but someone should have helped the poor guy greeting and seating everyone by himself. The main issue was it was cold, everyone in the section we were seated in was dining in their jackets. I had to put mine on also, it was so cold that I couldn't enjoy my evening.
No waiter in my secection food took almost an 1 hour and 20m had to get up and look for someone to fill my drink worst experience ever and on Valentines day never again
Chicken was over cooked and food come out cold
Despite making a reservation we were told we have to que and we qued for a long time on Valentine's day. Not impressed There was only one person booking people in and getting them table
