unfortunately on this occasion the service was very slow and we waited nearly 45 minutes for our starters and weren't offered a refill drink
The evening we visited was extremely busy and we had to wait a long term for our food.
Usually a great meal here but most recent experience a little disappointing. Had to wait ages to get served, probably 20 minutes seated in a pretty empty area before we were asked for even a drinks order. Waitress was lovely though. Son had chicken finger BLT which was good. My jack daniels chicken strips though were on the rubbery side and over cooked. Pudding was lovely. Lots of family birthdays which is fine, but one large table were very aggressively shouting at each other to shut up which spoiled the normally great atmosphere. Just over £40 for two courses and soft drinks for two so not bad value, though I’d have liked it better if my jaws hadn’t had to work so hard on chewing!
When we arrived the lay at the front of house was quite unfriendly. We were sat in the conservatory area at the side which was very cold. I asked if there was a booth we could sit in and was told no. When a more friendly waitress came over we asked again if we could be moved and she very politely did move us to a booth that was free. We saw the front of house lady a couple of times more and she was rude and miserable each time. Our waitress was lovely and helpful, there was a wait for food and drink but she was apologetic each time and we didn't mind. The food was ok, we all had burgers which were very dry. The coleslaw looked wilted like it had sat on a hotplate for a while and the burger sauce had a skin on it that suggested the same. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were nice and the puddings were good too. Overall the experience was pretty average and I'm not sure we'd return.
Visited 13/10/18. Slight wait even though booked but once sat at our table our service from Georgia was second to none. She is a valuable asset to your team. We are visiting again this Saturday for a family celebration and hope our experience is just as good.
We arrived on time and there was a long queue outside the restaurant. The staff were rude even when we explained that we had already booked a table. Very disorganised front of house staff, but the serving staff was good.
Food looked like it had been sitting there for ages, was cold, the service was slow, waiting ages to be served, wasn’t very good
Great service. We had our 3yr old and they made her feel special. Nice touch!
Paid £2 extra for Mario fries but was very disappointed when they came. The cheese wasn't melted as I imagined it would be and the bacon bits were cold. Mains arrived and my burger was cold. Waitress apologised and said she would bring me a new one straight away. 15 mins later it came and my partner had finished eating. Starters were fantastic but a very poor experience otherwise.
Great food and great service
Service was terrible, staff we too busy messing about out back messing about with balloons to take our order, clear table, take desert order etc. Some of the food arrived lukewarm. When talking to a manager he was just full of excuses. Worst service ever in a tgi
Would be good if there was more vegetarian options... The veggie burger was tasty.
Fantastic service and good food and drink.
Both had cheeseburgers and asked for them well done, meat was cooked perfectly to our preference, our fries (sweet potato and normal) were lovely, the whole burger was delicious, and the burger sauce that accompanied them was also lovely, we had a strawberry milkshake and strawberry daiquiri which were also yummy!! Service was quick but not hurried, and very good customer service. Wasn’t a fan of TGIs before our visit but have now been converted!! All in all a lovely experience!!
Great time with friends
Friendly and accommodating staff.
Service was great food was very nice however every time we come our 1st choice is never in stock. I wanted to do a tomohawk steak. But the 12 once was very nice but rare After a few I didn’t mind that much ! All in all. It was a good evening which I do highly recommend
Great food and service!
Our food was hot & tasty and the service was geeat
Started arrived at the same time as the main course and refill for my drink came after i had finished my meal. Also, it is noticeable in recent visits that the quality has significantly reduced....the boneless bites had watery blue cheese sauce, the jack daniels sauce is also watery. Also the cookie dough sundae is severely lacking in cookie dough and shortcake. I would rather prices were increased than such scrimping.
Niamh was our waitress on this visit, and she is easily the best one we have ever had, very attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, she fully deserves 10/10.
We booked a table but still had to wait ten minutes to be seated. We watched atleast three same size parties arrive after us and be seated immediately.
There was only one server on in our area and she was quite busy so we did have to wait a little while to order. She was lovely and nothing was too much trouble, so we didn't mind waiting for her.
Our waiter was fantastic, with great service! Love the JD glazed sauce as always. Finally their Oreo milkshake is not as runny as some other places, nice and thick. Highly recommend the Watford resturant!
Was supposed to be a special occasion as stated on the booking not made to feel special at all
