We were seated next to a very large party who were contantly shouting. We waited 45 minutes before our starter arrived. But our waitress was so lovely. I understand it gets busy this time of year but our booking was for 7.15 and we was not seating for 30 minutes. But overall we love the place and food is amazing!

Table was given away to another group after we checked in. Waitress forgot we were waiting for our reserved table. Didn’t get served for 40 mins and had to find a waitress to take our drinks order. It took us three hours to be served and finish two courses.

Great service from all the staff, going that extra mile to make our lunch memorable. Birthday cake and a song from the staff for our 2 birthdays. Food was lovely. I would only say it was a bit cold in the restaurant!

Colleague steak was very chewy and she could not eat it. Mine was not great either. Poor quality beef. Ribs were ok. Drinks were good

The service myself & my colleagues received on Friday 14th December doesn’t even reach a 2 star service. Firstly, the waiters and waitresses bought food to our table which we didn’t order. 4 steaks were requested, 3 to be medium rare and 1 well done. All 4 steaks were rare to medium rare when highlighted to the waiter he did apologise & bought 2 steaks back to the chef. When the steaks were bought back out it was left on a side plate without chips or the salad which was the original order. It told ages to communicate this error to a member staff as I had made a complaint I asked to liaise with the manager. When the manager arrived I raised my concerns regarding the service so far he also apologised and agreed to give us a round of complimently drinks. Not too long after he left our table I discovered a hair in my food, thankfully a gentlemen on the opposite table witnessed the event as I didnt want the restaurant to question my findings as we had previously complained. Again, trying to inform the waiter took some time. When I finally was able to get a hold of him I explained I found a hair in my food and I handed my plate back and said I do not want a replacement meal! Now finding a hair in your food flags up environment health, one would think that the manager would re attend our table to discuss the next steps. However there was no sign of the manager. I again complained to the waiter and asked what was his managers response to the hair found in my food. I’m yet to get clarity on his response. Due to the awful events it cut our meal short. We asked for the bill. Unfortunately there was discrepancies on our bill the tally for drinks were incorrect and they had the audacity to include my meal which I didn’t eat as I sent it back to due finding hair on my chicken. I challenged the waiter regarding the drinks and my meal and I explained I am refusing to pay for a meal that was contaminated. The manager remained unprofessional and refused to budge further on the total bill! Our whole experience was disgusting and I fail to understand how such service has been allowed to reflect this reputable company. Not only was our table complaining but the family behind us also complained a few times due to errors with the meals and drinks and sadly they were celebrating a birthday and was told that a family of 40 is being entertained elsewhere in the restaurant and they’re deemed a priority! I will not be returning to Watford TGI or any other TGI within the UK and the head office needs to reevaluate there staff and their level of competence!

I had specifically booked TGI FRIDAY to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday and my sons 21st birthday because of the ‘birthday song’ by the crew. I stayed it on the online booking form and when we arrived - the woman said that it was there in the booking. We had no acknowledgement that it was a special occasion nor the song. I was very very disappointed.

Very disappointed visit Always enjoyed myself but this time I did not. Did not see the point in pre ordering as it took as long to come out if we had ordered at the table. 20 minutes late being sat at our table because no one has cleaned it. Food ok Would not rush back.

Arrived before 4pm booking, having received an email stating that we would need to return the table by 5.15pm. Service was extremely slow, taking almost an hour before receiving our mains. We had to request the bill at 5.30pm, before receiving our dessert! The dessert (ice cream sundaes) arrived almost entirely melted, with the server smelling strongly of cigarettes. If we had to guess, it appeared that the ice cream sundaes had been made but left in the warm kitchen whilst the server had a cigarette break. The bill was just shy of £70 but the quality, speed and general attitude towards service was dire. Unfortunately we didn't have time to send anything back, or go elsewhere - particularly considering how long everything until this point had taken. We booked here as our experience at other TGI Fridays has been largely positive, this experience couldn't have been further from that.

Starter and main were ok to good but had to send the desserts back for others as original choice was truly disgusting! And then even that wasn’t very nice, all from the Christmas menu. Cocktails were from the 2 for 1 offer but seemed very tasteless. Wasn’t impressed by them either. I had booked this table weeks before but front of house staff were not welcoming and we were made to wait with no apologies, all abit chaotic and a little rude. Waitress at table was really great though.
