This restaurant is always hit and miss and lately its more miss that hit! We waited one hour for our mains that weren't very well put together, with a child with autism this really wasn't fun. No veg and fruit sticks that are supposed to be included in the kids meal once again! The toilets were worse than a night club! A bag full of vomit and tissues at the side of the toilet, toilet roll all over the floors, staff clearly do not check them. I don't think we will be back this time
Fantastic service from server (Joe??) andvalso manager helping our coeliac daughter. The balloon dog was a great hit - cannotbtell you how much fun it brought our daughter. Thank you.
Worst experience at TGI’s ever. Waiters attitude was awful. He was very ignorant. However the manager kindly apologised and made it up to us.
Staff wanted us to queue even though I showed them i had prebooked, they had to go to the manager after I pointed out the would be no point prebooking if I had to queue
Great service, and cracking food as always!!
Nice food, fresh, good serving sizes of adult meals, appetising and satisfying Downside children's meals. Rather expensive. 10 year old had ribs that were a couple in a small bowl with ten chips and a tea spoon of beans. Expensive and didn't leave her filled. I don't mind paying for a satisfying meal for her and that price didn't reflect what was served. Service was poor, our plates were sat for over twenty minutes before I had to go find our server to ask for dessert as we needed to leave. We were there 2 hours in the end as service was so slow.
Can't understand the idea of the reservation if you still need to queue up to see the main host at the door, bypassed that and spoke to a waitress who said she would deal with my reservation, she disappeared and I continued to queue. Few mins later said waitress goes past the queue of people with her coat on and bag saying bye to her colleagues. Fantastic service :(
Great food and service as usual
We waited over an hour for our food worst experience ever and this was supposed to be a special occasion
Should have battered chicken for kids, plain
It was my daughters 8th birthday so we went with a few of her friends. She had an absolute ball. Our server Ben couldn't have made more of a fuss of her. He was brilliant and the food was lovely.
Whilst I appreciate that it was a very busy Friday evening I feel the table we were given was VERY small for 6 adults. There was no room to move and I feel this spoiled what could have been a really enjoyable evening.
By far the worst TGIs we’ve ever been too, they gave us solid burger buns, my 2 year old couldn’t even bite hers, they took it back and it took them 20 minutes to bring her another, by then she’d gone off the idea of eating and wanted to leave!!! My husbands said his chips with chilli on top didn’t taste of anything and it’s first time I’ve ever seen him leave food at a TGIs
The service I received was wonderful and it made it extra special as I ask my girlfriend to marry me while having are meal and she said yes the lady that served us was very nice and we never had to wait long for anything will defo be back again as due to I'll health not been for a while a lot better atmosphere than the one at prestwich thank u
We had a booking at 7.30 but were not seated till 7.45 which I didn’t think was right as I booked a while ago. My starter was cold but we had waited 40 minutes for it and was told there would be a wait to change it. People around us were unhappy their started never arrived so wasn’t a great atmosphere
Amazing, you guys made our Valentine's date perfect. We got engaged and you even through free cake and free cocktails (mocktails). No words to describe your service, which is as always so friendly and good, Thank you
Amazing, staff were so welcoming and fast
Chips were cold had to wait along time for food to arrive
Really fun time in TGI Friday’s for mini birthday dinner! A massive thank you to Chelsea who handled my reservation, and organized the birthday cake. Her personality and service was excellent! She should get a promotion. Thank you again. I would highly recommend!
Service was polite and friendly although there was quite a wait from first arriving to placing order then for waiting for our drinks.
Great service from the staff that dealt with us. Food was lovely and tabkes nicely presented for us and the birthday girl
I booked a table for 5 online for my daughter's 11th birthday. She loves TGI Fridays so was very excited to go. I made a request for a booth online. I even phoned on the day to ensure we had a booth. On the day, when we arrived, unfortunately there had been a gas leak so the restaurant was closed until the problem was fixed. We were asked to call back or to wait in the bar, but there was no promise of the restaurant opening again that evening. Even so, we sat in the bar, ordered drinks and waited. A blonde lady with glasses came up once to keep us informed. After about an hour of waiting we were told they would reopen shortly. Customers started filtering in slowly. We were eventually approached and shown to a table, a smaller cramped booth at the back of the restaurant. On reflection I am very disappointed as I thought after all my efforts pre booking, and the long wait, we would have been offered a prime position in one of the more spacious booths at the side of the restaurant. Alas, we ordered food very hastily, as time was getting on and my daughter wanted to go shopping before they closed for the night. There was not a particularly long wait but the food was pretty lacklustre on arrival. It didn't seem the usual quality. My boneless hot wings were lacking sauce and the sesame chicken strips were pale and bland. We left quite a lot of the food and it did put us off ordering desert. The nice young lady who served us was as accommodating as could be, and even sang the birthday greeting for my daughter, with cake. This was a nice touch, which we had anticipated with great joy, before the disappointment of the seating and the booth. We left very dejected and unfortunately won't be returning again anytime soon.
Having booked we were disappointed to wait nearly 1/2 hour to be seated. The food was generally OK but the caprese chicken dish came cold, was returned and brought cold again. The children's hotdog wasn't great either being a very hard skinned sausage on a brioche roll. Our waitress was good and looked after us well but with the wait and poor dishes I've had to mark the service down overall.
