The waitress was very helpful, my sister enjoyed her birthday. Thank you
Half an hour to be served. Food then took an hour to arrive. No cutlery on table. Food arrived cold. Complained and offered 25 per cent off bill. The poor slow service didn't improve at all and took another half hour to have plates taken. Was a birthday meal and the service was so slow there wasn't time to have the cake at the end as the restaurant was closing. When they gave me back the cake I had made, they brought me the wrong cake! Dealing with the manager he was incredibly uncompromising and confrontational. What should have been a trip down memory lane to a restaurant I have fond memories of as a child turned out to be a nightmare. I will not be visiting TGI ever again. Please note this was all on a midweek dinnertime. The restaurant was completely empty and there were staff everywhere. No excuse for the terrible experience whatsoever.
Despite being shown to our table we weren’t given additional children’s menu. I asked several staff for one who forgot, third person did get it! The waitress was lovely but unfortunately the food wasn’t. Veg sizzling fajitas were tasteless as was child’s hot dog meal. Unfortunately wouldn’t go back again & wish we’d eaten in All Star Lanes where we’d just bowled.
Service was friendly but extremely slow. Food was not hot & needed to be returned to be heated up. Plates were cleared by reaching across someone still eating.
Slooow service and veggi burger had to be sent back, due to poor flavour
My daughter and her friends really enjoyed her birthday lunch at TGI's. Thank you to all the staff who really looked after our table. She will especially never forget the Birthday song! thanks again.
The black waitress with a short Afro deserves a raise, she gave perfect customer service thought out our visit. Food is overpriced negl.
The waiter was excellent and picked up on everything despite it only being their first week. There was a problem with the kitchen staff not interpreting the order correctly but other than that it was spot on.
I was late 5 minutes and you said that i have to wait for 30 min, but i was with guests. So i went out, because your worker was young ladies, who was not pleasant with me. So my birthday i have done near you in giraffe. There atmosfiere was very kind to me and we was waiting just 2 min :) by the way i was with baby 1 year, that you didnt have a chair.
Even though I booked we had to wait about 25 minutes for our table and that’s was waiting for it to be cleaned when we were seated we were given menus and left to make our choice it took a while for anyone to approach us and we finally placed our order for food but were not asked about drinks we had to ask for them, our starters arrived and one was wrong it had been covered with cheese so we had to send it back to be changed, were given no cutlery with our meals and had to ask another waitress that walked by for some as we finished our starters our main meals arrived so they were handed out but none of our finished plates were taken so we had to just push them to the middle of the table one of the main meals was cold and was sent back and another didn’t arrive and had to be chased and then still we were given no cutlery so we had to ask again for more. Don’t get me wrong the waitress was very friendly and polite even chatting with us but felt we shouldn’t have been left with such a mess in the table and repeatedly have to ask for cutlery. We went for my daughters 18th birthday and it really but a downer on what had been a great day.
I'm not coming here again customer service- had to wait ages 4 food and it was a small amount of food, IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!! considering it was my birthday. The only person who done good customer service was THEIR NEW RECRUIT!!!
Food was terrible.
I regularly go to TGI’s but this experience was awful, the worst I’ve had. Service was much slower than normal, orders were not adhered to, my girlfriends cocktail was not mixed properly and people who arrived after us were served first - leaving us without our drinks for quite some time. The table we were sat at was not stable or overly clean and I did not have knife, just a fork. After our starters, we were not given anymore napkins for our mains either. All in all, it was disappointing and annoying because I usually enjoy going to TGI’s.
Very friendly and patience staff that assisted with my sisters birthday meal. Lovely atmosphere and great food
The staff were very nice and sung me happy birthday
From the beginning of the night we knew it was going to be disatorous. We made a reservation for my friends 21st birthday which is a big day. We knew tgis caters to birthdays very well so we chose this destination. Much to our disappointment the table we booked was given to someone else for being 5 mins even though we called beforehand. We had to wait an additional 30 mins to be seated which is ridiculous. We were then placed on a tiny cramped table. Our waiter was very rude and not efficient at all. We had to wait over 15 minutes for one drink which he got wrong. When we asked for him to take out empty cups he refused and said leave them on the table. BARE IN MIND ohr table was tiny. The only delightful thing about this evening was the food which was superb! Big thank you to the chefs since their the only people who knew what they were doing. I asked for the bill and gave my stripes token and they said they would apply it and guess what he didn’t. I was so frustrated at this point considering how patient I was being I had to speak to the manager. Thankfully he was very understanding and took our feedback on the chin. I was very upset to see they don’t absolutely NOTHING for my friends birthday which is ridiculous. I love tgis but definitely won’t be visiting the Stratford one again. APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wish I remembered the waiters name.
The waitress was lovely but the service was incredibly slow. So much so that we tried to convince the children to go somewhere else for dessert.
Customer service training for staff. After waiting 20 minutes just to receive acknowledgment and a drinks order .. Mains tried to be brought to us twice when we were still eating our starters and being told on both occasions can we wait. To then s third attempt to bring our mains we were told “I’m just going to leave these here” We advised we still for the third time wasn’t ready and would like fresh burgers when we had finished our starter. Your waiter said and I quote “well you don’t have to eat it” After this encounter he got very rude, inappropriate, unprofessional and quite frankly embarrassing. The female waitress coren was lovely but advised us the male colleague “sally” was just sassy. I said no he’s not sassy he was unnecceseraly rude and attempyed to be intimidating to my partner for no reason. We were offered no apology, a managers ear . Nothing. Just dirty glares from the gentleman (and I use the word lightly) called sally. We will never be returning to this restaurant.
2nd time I have come here and received terrible service. Once you sit down your waiting for ever for someone to take your order. You ten wait forever to be given each course. Then when you want to pay you have to wait forever for someone to take your payment. Terrible terrible terrible!
The food is fabulous
Very nice food and excellent service by our waiter Kieran
Waitress was really nice and the food was well cooked! Only thing is, they forgot to mention the corn had run out when taking our order and also when dropping the food off.
My food was so horrible. Everything came out warm not even hot. My daughters burger bun was cold and her burger was so dry she didn’t eat it. Not worth the money. Will not be returning there at all. Should have just gone to the local chicken and chip shop instead
Slightly disappointed this time as services seemed to be very very slow and the wrong food then came out.
On the plus side they provided good seats and accommodated our baby well, our waiter was friendly and polite however the service very poor. We waited a long time after finishing our mains surrounded by dirty plates. Half hour wait between finally ordering dessert and it arriving, when it did ice cream had already melted. We asked for a spoon that never arrived so my partner ate melted ice cream with a fork. I ordered a milkshake for dessert that never materialized. Have been to other TGI Fridays and had a much better experience but I will avoid this branch in future.
