I had a booking at 9 pm .We arrived like 10 minutes before ,as the confirmations email said ,arrive before 15 minutes. The reception staff said to us ohh guys you arrived so early, you have to wait. Then she gave us caller stuff. We waited 40 minutes to get a table. They really have to work on the customer service.
We had dinner at Stratford TGI’s for 4 this Tuesday just gone. Our waiter was Damien, who is a top guy and probably the only good thing of the establishment from our experience. The food was terrible, we all had the burgers and they were burnt and dry as hell. The kitchen had sent out our mains when we were still eating our starters. The cocktails also tasted bad. I have tried to call them the next day after opening but no one has answered the phones and didn’t bother to reply to my email either. All in all we had a horrific experience and will not be returning.
Waitress was great.
We didn't have to wait to get seated. Although we waited few minutes before we were attended to, the order came real quick and the food was AMAZINGLY YUMMY.
The Service was very slow - I had to ask to order a dessert. Also the restaurant and table we were sat at was dirty - my friend had 3 chicken wings bones underneath her chair and the chair I was on was covered in dirt, I wont be dining at this restaurant again.
Great waiter, quick service, good value for money
I have written a review on trip advisor regarding the terrible experience we received yesterday for my partners birthday
I have very mixed feedback. I have a tree nut and egg allergic son age 5 and so eating out can be tricky. TGI's menu and the allergy filter system was fabulous and enables us to preview and plan meal choices. We booked a table so that I could inform the restaurant of our needs. The waiter at our table was a delight however at the point the manager came to take our "allergy" order it became a very uncomfortable time. I know that all restaurants have to remind us that there is no absolute guarantee regarding cross contamination but this manager sat at our table (in from of my boy) and repeatedly said that he was concerned. That as it was a "disease" not an intolerance we should perhaps consider the risks. Allergy families live with this risk every day and as a parent I strive to maintain the joy of eating out. I tried to suggest to the manager that if he continued to say what he was saying I would become very worried about eating there. I explained that it was upsetting that a restaurant so seemingly aware of allergies felt the need to talk like this in front of my 5 year old. It added unnecessary upset to my evening. In the end I asked the manager to stop talking about allergies and just allow us to have our family meal out. The waiter after this was fabulous. He kept checking on us and made a real effort with my boy to ensure that he was enjoying his meal. Please can restaurants be sensitive to the needs of allergy families but also be aware of the emotional impact that discussing concerns may have on our young allergy sufferers.
The only downer was that we had to wait about 15 for our table, they left us standing on the side. Otherwise I could have given it 5 stars.
Ordered drinks starters and mains that all came at he the same time and when ordering more drinks later on they where never given to us
Excellent service. We were seated straight away and our waiter was attentive and catered for our every need, very friendly Delicious wings. Only issue was the frozen Pina colada drink cost over £9 yet you could not taste any alcohol. Our waiter sorted it for us and we were happy
Our waiter (sorry did not get his name) was very helpful and friendly.
It was my little sisters birthday and the way the delivered happy birthday to her was amazing! I’ll totally recommend :D
The food was fantastic but the service was very slow. It seemed there were trainee waiters shadowing waiters
Service is excellent. Food comes out quick. Perfect for Birthdays
I shall be writing a complaint regarding the hostess I've encountered 2 bad service with the same hostess.
Really love the service here, they are all so welcoming! The food and drinks are also good. Overall it’s a good chilled restaurant for a lively atmosphere
Staff were amazing . My daughter had a great 16th bday .
Was happy with Drew and the other staff members who made my Daughter birthday nice from start to finish after having a bad experience last time l was there and so didn't want to spend my money with TGI again but my Daughter really wanted to go for her 16th birthday meal so glad it went well.
The food and the service was wonderful as always. Thank you
The staff were very attentive especially when I informed them of my food allergies. The manager came over straight away to discuss the menu and mAde sure all was ok for me.
We had good seating, our waiter was the best, he knew his stuff n recommended meals/drinks we were all haapy. The 3 children took to him well and he joked n spoke with them, my personal only down fall is that i didnt have enough cash to leave him a decent tip as his service was 5*
Despite having booked a table we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated with no apology - food was great but the service was slow.
Fantastic time thank you
Awful service.... Exceptionally slow. 2x staff members clearly with each other, giving each other hugs, kisses and neck rubs while we waited for food. Parts of meal cold.
