The staff were very attentive especially when I informed them of my food allergies. The manager came over straight away to discuss the menu and mAde sure all was ok for me.

We had good seating, our waiter was the best, he knew his stuff n recommended meals/drinks we were all haapy.The 3 children took to him well and he joked n spoke with them, my personal only down fall is that i didnt have enough cash to leave him a decent tip as his service was 5*

Awful service.... Exceptionally slow. 2x staff members clearly with each other, giving each other hugs, kisses and neck rubs while we waited for food. Parts of meal cold.

The restaurant was so dirty we walked out after speaking to Alvin the Manager. I have never seen such dirty tables and chairs. We stuck to the chairs. I wanted to vomit. Couldn't bare to eat here. I will be sharing on social media and TripAdvisor.

We were celebrating my son’s 5th birthday and asked if we could sit in the car outside the restaurant, even though the section was closed, Prince said he would let us sit there and serve us himself. One of the other waitresses complained about him opening up the section for us but he handled it with good humour and said he would serve us himself. He was fantastic and made our celebration the best it could possibly have been. He went back and forth helping us and the diners inside the restaurant. My son loved sitting in the car and was overwhelmed by the birthday cake and singing from the waiters at the end. We have recommended it to other people and three friends are taking their children for their birthday meals there too.

Seemed very understaffed and waiting 20 minutes to be asked what we’d like to drink or eat and a further 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, wrong starter arrived which was corrected but no side plates were given and when our mains arrived our finished starter plates were not taken, we didn’t have enough cutlery for all of us but because there was no one around to ask my daughter ate her meal with a spoon, not a massive deal for a 5 year old but not the point, the waitress herself was very pleasant but obviously her work load was far too much. The food was ok but for the money the whole experience was a let down and have had a better experience in many other chain restaurants.

A young lad called Karl gave us fantastic service, sang his heart out singing Happy Birthday, polite and courteous, nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic time!

Purposely booked table for 5.30pm as we were a party of 8 including a high chair but we didn’t get seated till 6.10. Sort of defeats the point of booking, as you should be expected to have a table waiting for you. We had to wait for one person to finish his meal. When we arrived he had just started his mains. It was poor table management. A table of six was empty while we waited for one person and yet there were plenty of other tables this one person could have gone. I explained this to the greeter but she wasn’t very helpful or understanding and gave me a bit of attitude when she said she couldn’t tell the lone customer to go. This I agreed to but explained that she could have managed the tables better knowing that she had a party of 8 booked at 5.30, she gave me a smirk and rolled her eyes, which did annoy me but the customer was finishing up and like the greeter said, we would be seated soon which we were. By this time we were all getting very fed up and hungry and my one year old was getting very upset. Wasn’t quite the 40th Anniversary celebration we were planning on. But within 10 minutes of the customer leaving, we were seated, no mad rush to clean the tables tho. The man that served us throughout our meal was very helpful but when one of our party asked for a Tomahawk steak, lack of communication and management was to blame again. Understanding that this isn’t always stocked (not sure why, if it’s on the menu) my brother asked straight away while ordering drinks if they had it and he wanted it raw. The waiter went away to ask the chef and returned to say that we could have it. We all ordered our food and waited 10/15 mins before the waiter came out, to tell us that unfortunately there is no tomahawk steak after all. We couldn’t understand how one minute there was and the next there wasn’t and asked if the steak had ‘hoped off and walked out’. We understand it wasn’t the waiters fault and we told him this but there was a lack of management and communication. He was told by the chef there was the steak but later the manager informed him that they had run out??? Not overly impressed but my bother reordered and after a very short wait our food came out as expected and as lovely as ever. Though we were half expecting it to all be wrong. When dessert came the cookie dough sundae and fruit berry sundae were the same price but a completely different size (the same size as one of the children’s ice creams), a bit disappointed my husband questioned this. The waiter did offer another one and apologised but the moment had passed, the waiter did however only charge the child’s price for that ice cream. We couldn’t fault the waiter or the food, he was helpful and lovely and the food was great as ever, hence why we booked at TGIs, we know we’re getting great food and good service. I won’t however be going to the Stratford store again unless I really had to. It just seemed that time, table and general management was missing here and communication between staff was a miss. This is a shame as it really spoilt the experience and put a bit of a damper on my parents 40th wedding anniversary meal.

The service was fantastic, the ladies that served us were lovely, friendly and patient. The food, however, was disappointing. I ordered the steak, shrimp and ribs combo as did two other people at my table. The steak- we ordered medium rare and it came medium well - well done. The ribs were cold, the shrimp was bland and the chips were so salty.

This was an event for one of my long standing team members that had left. The service was awful, bar service was extremely slow and painful. The food order was taken and when the food arrived everything was given to the respective team member that ordered. However, one of the steak orders was missing. The waiter apparently checked the bill counted the amount of steaks on the table and believed it was correct. The team member was away from the table at the time. The waiter then confirmed that he had asked everyone, which he didn't. He then advised that the steak had been thrown away and gave her ribs that were cold and unacceptable. We all found the waiter extremely rude and not at all apologetic. When I complained to the Manager who I also found extremely slow in managing this whole complaint. The waiter came back and complained to us again which he should have been apologetic. How unacceptable behavior and certainly not customer service. We eventually received a 25% discount and the waiter then refused to serve us again. The table was still piled high with plates for a long period of time, due to the waiter no longer wanting to serve us. It seems to me that the management could not control their member of staff. To be honest a complete bad experience which ruined the occasion. If this is how you deliver customer service within your stores, then one, we will never be attending any of your restaurants again and I will certainly be ensuring any of my colleagues and friends are fully aware of this.

Went to TGI's specifically for my son's 8th birthday. I wrote a note in the special requirements box when making the reservation online also, on arrival spoke to the lady who greeted us on arrival and she said she was aware of it. The waiter who was looking after our table never once said anything to us regarding my son's birthday (although he had 2 badges on), it took 45mins before our order was taken then, another nearly 40mins for the food to come. We left and no acknowledgement of my son's day was taken and it was really upsetting as we could of taken him anywhere, but chose TGI's as we have heard that they make a big deal when it's a diners birthday. Not on this occasion! Wouldn't go there again.

Drinks didn't come up as advertised in the menu; we asked for the nachos to be served with the dips on the side however everything was caked in the dips; we had to wait ages for service; table was cleared before my mother in law had finished eating...her side dish was taken away whilst she was still eating it; we could easily have left without paying the bill as it took 15 minutes between getting the bill and anyone appearing to take our money..at one point we didn't see a single server on the restaurant floor.
