Waited half hour to order food. Got three out of the 5 drinks - waited a further 10 minutes for the rest Three starters arrived at the same time, the fourth arrived 15minutes later. Chicken fajitas were not sizzling - warm and a weird flavour. Had to be sent back and taken off the bill. We were sat outside and only one server in that area. It was my mums birthday and it was very unenjoyable.
I pre booked a table for 6 people for 8pm and arrived 15 minutes early as per booking instructions. The staff on the door really let us down by not prioritising getting us a table despite our reservation. We were left standing for 35 minutes (arrived 7:45pm, table was to be ready for us 8pm and by after 8:15pm the 2 children in our party were tired and only after applying pressure did the staff seem to realise we needed a table. Then when they seated us they said the kitchen is really slow tonight. It felt like they couldn’t be bothered having any more customers & many tables around us were full of plates. They should have let us know about the food which was no longer available. They didn’t clear the table between main meal and desserts which would have helped the experience. Overall the kitchen staff as awesome - the food was delicious but let down by front door staff who need to update the customers not just ignore and then later say oh are you waiting! I checked in and showed my reservation code. Really made me frustrated! I felt so embarrassed having recommended Westfield Stratford TGIs and being the one who organised it and paid the bill.
The service at times was too slow
Half my food was cold had to ask a different waiter to change it as ours was nowhere to be found. Given chicken strips instead of wings. Had to wait 40 minutes for food which was cold anyway. Asked waiter for a steak knife he acknowledged then went to sing happy birthday to another table and give another table their bill had to get up and ask a different waitress. Bubblegum daiquiri quite melted. Birthday reward missing from reward section on my app. Sat for 20 minutes after finished food waiting for the waiter to ask for the bill but he was nowhere to be seen had to ask the waitress who replaced the cold food. Haven’t been to TGI’s in a while and the entire experience was extremely disappointing when you spend £50 you expect for it to be worth your while.
We had a booking for 10 people as a birthday get together and sadly we were disappointed overall. We waited 30 minutes to get our first drinks and to even place our food order. It was a very slow (all be it friendly and warm) service throughout. One of the food orders was wrong but as we had waited an hour and 20 minutes for it, we didn’t send it back. We had to ask for our check once the mains arrived as we had only allowed 2 hours for lunch and had other commitments at 3.15pm. The bill was £250 which considering we had 4 children in our group, didn’t represent good value for money. Shame, we used to love TGI Fridays but it has now lost it’s appeal.
I was a little disappointed as when we booked over 2 weeks ago we requested to be sat near our friends as a member of their booking was celebrating a birthday, I knew this would not be guaranteed however when we arrived we could not have been seated any further apart... they were inside the main restaurant and we were outside!!!
Genuinely the worst service I’ve ever had at a TGI’s, we were left to wait, items were missed off the menu in which we weren’t told, staff did not want to serve us as their shift had finished and we were still expected to pay full price! We reserved a table for my brothers 21st in which we informed staff, this was ignored as the staff member said and I quote ‘my shift is over, I’ll get someone to look into it’. I will not be returning to TGIs again!
The service was wonderful and our waitress was amazing and fast she was very quick and friendly
Everything was great, I loved my waitress. But the only issue was attempting to get her attention sometimes
Thanks you for helping to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday party. The staff where very helpful and the food was delicious, my daughter and her friends had a fantastic time! Thank you for singing happy birthday and making the day extra special. Many many thanks
It was 4 of us. 3 got a drinks after 20 mins, one had to ask and waited another 10 mins. Stakes were burned. 4 kids meals ordered. One came after about 20 mins. Others had to wait another 15 mins...
Really nice dining experience.
Actually very disappointed in the food
Amazing food and service
Waited ages at the bar to order drinks. Staff avoided eye contact or not even apology for the delay. Plates cleared before everyone had finished Disappointed
Service generally good and staff very helpful. Food was not very hot, particularly the chips/fries
Venue too dark for a restaurant. Its like the darkness of in a club. Had to use phones flash to see mine and my children's food. Menus were filthy, sticky with what seems to have been old food or drink. My burger meal cost £16.49 and everything inside my burger was salty. They advertised what was suppose to be a strawberry lemonade slush which instead was actually a glass full of ice with very little juiced strawberries with all the pips in it mixed with a tiny bit of fizzy lemonade. This was disappointing for my children. Not sure I'd return to this specific tgi venue. However the prices wouldnt be bad if you actually got everything done to perfection
Excellent service especially from our waitress
Service was very slow for both food and drink, was waiting a long time for the bill aswell
food was delicious. had fri's offered 241 cocktails we would have continued drinking there instead of going to Iguana's next door.
Took over 20 minutes to get our drinks, our cutlery was filthy. The waiter did his best but was very busy
Awful, short staffed and took nearly half an hour to even get a menu and drink, had to ask 3 times. Food was disgusting. Extremely poor
We waited 50 mins between starter and main .......... That's the only let down.....And the food portions are smaller these days than they used to be. The guy at the front was lovely though
