First of all our food took about 40 minutes to come, with two tables that came in after us getting our food before us. Our server was no where to be seen after he had taken our order and we had to find another person to update us on our food. My food came with 2 pieces of hair added, which I don't remember seeing on the menu. I ordered cheesy fries which I assume was going to be supplemented for the regular fries with my meal, which is was not, so I'm now paying for extra fries that I didn't want. Not only that but the cheesy fries came about 15/ 20 minutes after our actual food came out and we were finished, with about one slice of cheese on it. My veggie burger was good but that's the only positive thing I can say about this experience. Overall, terrible service and will never be going again.
Summary of our thoughts on this visit: There were no bottles of white wine available even though this was a Sunday lunch time. The mash potato side dish was cold on arrival at the table. They had run out of the particular dessert we were wanting to order. Overall whilst we enjoyed our lunch with TGI's there were a lot of disappointments for us too.
All the staff were friendly, welcoming and clearly well prepared for our arrival. The food was brought out really quickly and all noted it was hot and the portion sizes were generous. All queries and requests were dealt with promptly and nothing was too much of a hassle. The team leader who dealt with us was great and I would like to thank him and his team for such a positive afternoon.
poor service, staff were not attentive and organised. food came out way to late.
Usually TGIs is always a safe bet for a good night with good food so me and boyfriend decided to take my mum and her friend as they were visiting London! But this night was such a disappointment due to the extremely bad service. Everything started off ok but after seeing that people who arrived after we finished our starter were getting their mains before us we thought we’d ask where our food was as it had been about 40 minutes which is quite long in this establishment! I asked about 3 times as our server didn’t come back to say anything or apologise or tell us where our food was until the 3rd time, saying that it’s because we ordered our starters. In the end we waited at least an hour between our starter and main which isn’t really on. The toilets were also out of loo roll for this whole time, and there was no white wine in the place at all! Our server offered no apologies for anything and as we put down our knives and forks she dropped the bill and asked us to pay without clearing our table or anything at all! So I asked to see the bill as she basically asked us to pay without letting us even see it and we’d been charged full price for really bad service. In the end she came back and had knocked £30 off of it, which is good but still not really good enough considering how shoddy everything was and how no apologies or anything was offered at all. I’m also a waitress so I know how to act when things go a bit wrong for tables and it’s definitely not like our waitress was acting, as if it was our faults... We’re all pretty chill and really nice people and we wouldn’t of cared about any of this if our waitress had been nicer to us and apologised and sincerely told us that it was a busy day and it was short staffed etc instead of being sassy and ignoring us and then making us feel like we’d done something wrong! It was just very disappointing after bigging up the place to our guests. I know in the grand scheme of things this doesn’t matter as you have a lot of customers but I probably won’t be coming to this particular establishment again.
Worst service I have ever received. Had to wait 1hr and 30 mins just for my drink to come out and then a further 20 mins for the appetisers. Waitress was very rude.
Took too long to serve us Nice food 1hour wait was long to serve
I was there 15mins before time, however it took over 45 mins for a waiter to attend to my table. After several complaints to the receptionist I finally got a waiter to attend to me and my guest. More so it took forever for our food to be served and they finally did, the food was very cold. I must say I was very disappointed with the service.
We attended for a Team Christmas meal. Our server Dani was very friendly and accommodating. The food however was terrible. My 'All the Trimmings' meal was freezing cold, every element, the turkey was over cooked and dry, gravy and stuffing cold! Roast potatoes and chips! All very beige. My colleagues salads looks tired and withered. Some of the meals did not fit the descriptions - fruit salad was just strawberries. All in all very disappointing especially as it was our Christmas party. It was also disappointing that I had to ask for a discount rather than the staff not realising from our comments and the amount of food returned that we were not satisfied.
If are planning to visit this branch be prepared to wait not 1 or 2 minutes; I am taking about 15-20 minutes just to get attention. On 11th Dec 2018 I took my team (15) for X-Mas launch to TGI Fridays. To ensure we have sit and avoid waiting upon arrival I also pre-booked the table but that all went in vain. When we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait at the entrance to get attention of staff (by the way this is the case for most of my visits). Finally, after 10-15 minutes we were shown our table, it took another 20 minutes to place drinks order which arrived after 15 minutes after placing the order. Nearly after 45 minutes we finally had chance to place food order and wait again. The food was good when arrived, but everyone was annoyed as they were hungry, and the service was damn slow. Worst experienced ever experienced in TGI. DISAPPOINTED, wish I had chosen different place for my team lunch out.
Slow service, every drink that was brought to our table was spilled on tables and our clothes. Food was tepid at best. The restaurant only had 4 tables that were taken and the rest was empty still below par service.
Food and drinks were great, however the waitress seemed a little inexperienced for such a large group as she made a few mistakes with our drinks, but overall wasn’t a big deal. Will definitely return
The lady that was responsible for our table was very helpful. And made sure that we were happy with everything. Me and the family felt she showed exceptional customer service.
Main courses were bought out twice while we were still eating our starters & then were left under the heat lamps so were a little dried up
This has had to be the worse service I have EVER experienced anywhere. I was so gutted that one of my favourite restaurants could be so bad. 3 times to order drinks before getting one, 45 min to wait for a starter and 1 turned up. 2nd arrived 30sec before my main!! My duck fajitas main was definitely over cooked and dry. In a 2 hour stay we managed 1 pint of Samual Adams that I hated. We asked for the manager who took on board out issues, and never returned. We asked for the manager again after 10 min waiting. No sign. We got up and walked out, the manager asked what was wrong, he got told and we left with his blessing without paying. I will not be back to TGI any time soon.
I’m afraid to say we have to walk away from our table as it took 30 min to recieve our first drinks... We booked a table for Sunday At 3:30 as we assumed it would be really busy, it was a little busy but not too bad. We were sat in a huge taxi, which was embarrassing but apparently there were no more tables, even though we had booked 4 days prior. The waiter served us after 10 minutes and we ordered some drinks. After another 15 minutes, we inquired politely about our drinks, which were just 3 beers, he told us quite rudely that ‘he’s not the barman, he’s just a waiter and can only bring them when they appear’l at the bar’. We waited another 10 minutes and inquired again. We got the same answer, this time ruder’. We became equally rude back, which was wrong of us but he really annoyed with his lack of care for his table. We asked for the manager. We waited another 10 minutes and neither our beers or a manager appeared, by this point, a man sitting at the table next to us told us he and his family had been waiting 1 hour for their food. At this point we left. I’ve worked in a restaurant and completely understand delays on busy days. But I never except bad service. The food at TGIs in generally nice but we never got that far that evening. We went to girrafe next door and had a wonderful meal, great service, and the waiter recieved a big tip. Thank you for reading my feedback
We love going to TGI Fridays for every birthday as the kids love it. This was a different one to the one we normally go to (Watford). Big Mistake! The service was dire. It took 30 minutes for anyone to come and take our order - told by the waiter that he was "busy". Once we ordered it took an hour for the food to arrive. However, by this time our youngest was in tears. The only reason the food turned up was because we told the manager we would walk away if the food did not arrive in the next 5 minutes. Not just us - the plates were not being cleared from any of the tables around us. Food when it arrived was quite good - but the sheen had completely been lost from the birthday meal by this point. We paid (of course correcting the the bill that was wrong) and left not bothering with desserts.
Had fantastic support organising my work Christmas dinner. In the lead up to the evening, Alex was available via email to answer all the big and small questions. The team went above and beyond to make adjustments when members of the party couldn't attend due to sickness. During the meal itself, all staff were really helpful, especially Alex, Hayden and Mark who couldn't do enough to help and actioned all our requests as quickly as they could. They helped make a meal for 30 odd people run extremely smoothly and we had a lot of fun. Good food, decent sized portions and very good drinks deals. Thank you very much!
Waited 15 minuets whilst at our table for someone to take our drink order/ food Ordered our drinks waited 25 minuets for them to come our food came before our drinks. Asked member of waiting staff for knife as there was no cutlery on table and ketchup and they never came back . We had pre booked this table. Kids meal missing the beans adults meal missing the jd sauce that goes with seasme strips . I understand it’s a busy time but blueatwer store gets busy and never had bad service there
This is the third time (every six months) that we have booked for 12+ persons following a team meeting As always, excellent service and no rush to see us leave On this occasion, Alexander, the charming young Irish girl was fantastic We’ll all be back soon
Service was absolutely appalling, 50 minutes in and we hadn’t even got our drinks - 90 minutes in and one of three mead was missed completely. When the meal came, some ten minutes after the others had finished, it was wrong. A further 15 minute wait to attract somebody’s attention for the bill. As a huge TGI fan, this was a truly awful experience
We waited 20mins for someone to take our order, then 20 mins later the kids drinks arrived 2 water then 10 mins later another drink arrived my partners drink was now where to be seen. We asked where it was, with no reply then lunch came, but only 3;orders when then was 4 of us, spoke with the manger he got the fourth order, by this time we had been waiting 10 mins, so the other 3 order where going cold. Then the final drink arrived. What an absolute joke. So badly run. We where visiting for my niece 14 th birthday, was so disappointed. Paid the bill and left very unhappy.
Great service received with the good food and drinks. Nothing more you can ask for.
Me and my friends had a great time
