Mains came out as soon as we finished our starters. Far to quick and they weren’t even that busy
We had a good time here. The cocktails are great and not too expensive either. Would recommend the Pornstar Martini.
Arrived at restaurant, which was extremely busy, and three staff were waiting to greet people, however they seemed to be struggling for tables even though everyone had booked. After much discussion we eventually were put on a massive table of 6( there were only 2 of us as booked!) We were left with menus and we decided what we would like to drink and eat but noone came back to take any orders, in the end I had to ask one of the staff to serve us. All the staff were friendly and cheerful but it did seem a little chaotic at times with multiple people trying to find tables and making balloon animals! Lol! Our drinks arrived quickly, followed by food which was delicious though not much meat on the ribs tbh, we had one dessert and another round of drinks which also arrived quickly considering how busy they were. Had to find a member of staff again to get us the bill but we didn't wait long for it. Think it's a bit pricey for what we had and probably wouldn't rush back but did enjoy the atmosphere and it was nice to go somewhere where the staff seemed to be genuinely enjoying their jobs!
Our meal and service were both exceptional.
Really nice family meal Kids loved the vibe and parents the vibe and the food ....really good thank you
Sesame chicken and ribs were awesome!
Excellent service, good food & friendly staff.
Rosie was our waitress she was fantastic the food was amazing and the overall experience was brilliant my son enjoyed his birthday thank you
We waited ages for our drinks to arrive, some came at completely different times and it was difficult to get our refillable drinks filled again. We ordered off the 2 for £15.99 menu and 7/9 people in the party were opting for a main and a dessert.. our mains arrived we ate those and everything was fine, until they then decided to tell us 2/4 of the desserts on the 2 for £15.99 menu were unavailable and no discount was given.. won’t be visiting again 😔
Staff made minimal effort, slow service. No fuss considering it was my boyfriends birthday. Won’t be going again
very happy with the service and price will definitely be back soon
Lovely meal at TGI.s Hanley to celebrate my sons birthday. Service was excellent food was really nice. Thank you .
The service was absolutely terrible. We came for a birthday and booked in advance. We still had to wait for our table with our two small children 2&4 who don’t appreciate waiting! We then waited ages to be served, 2 out of six drinks came and we had to wait 10 minutes and remind staff to bring the others. The food came out at random times (we asked for the children’s meals to come with the starters and they didn’t so again our children were waiting even longer) We bought a birthday cake and it was 30 minutes before we could get a member of staffs attention to bring it over, again with impatient children! They then bought four plates (not 6!) and no knife so we had to wait again! The service was absolutely shocking and the staff were aware as they kept apologising for the delay with things but it was really difficult to keep the children entertained, overall not a pleasant birthday experience!
Worse ever visit cold food slow service asked fir everything including menus 2.30 hours just for a main course dreadful
Absolutely shocking. I was told in the morning that they were not opening until 5 due to electrical issues with the fire alarm but would definitely be open for my 7.30 reservation. As I was getting ready to leave i received a phone call telling me the grill was no longer working and we couldn't be served the majority of the food. This was a surprise meal for my husband and because we had to go pick up all the decorations and cake the surprise was completely ruined. Just lucky I managed find somewhere else. Will never book again.
Our waiter was very nice but we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food, which is not really satisfactory. One of our sides was forgotten and, if I'm honest, this is what I've come to expect from TGIs. I worked for them, back their hay day and it's fair to say that it's really not what it was, by any stretch.
We waited 35 minutes for a drink, then a extra 15 minutes for the actual order! When ordered for the food it came cold. We ordered a steak and it took so long to came. The woman explained twice she was serving a party but that’s still no excuse. Would not recommend due to the waiting time and servicing as she was even talking badly about the other members of staff.
Excellent food and cocktails
food is over priced
Unfortunately we were rather disappointed with the food on this visit. It was not the usual high standard we have come to expect form TGI Fridays. The food was rather dry, particularly the burgers. The staff were very helpful in dealing with our dietary requirements and were friendly. The girls enjoyed celebrating their birthday's.
Very slow service. Seemed understaffed and we come a lot to this branch so was a disappointment really when we spend so much here. We had cocktails and they took 30mins to come to us and then we’re very poor
Service was slow, food was cold had to tell them to take it back and heat it. Overall not satisfied.
I changed my booking but the restaurant didnt have the updated details, they still accomodated us but thought my original booking was the correct one
