On arriving at the venue there was a couple waiting in front of us. The waitress had to call the host as he was unaware of the queue. We was seated we had to wait a while to have our order taken. A while later our main course arrived before our starter. The main was taken back and had to wait again for the starter. As soon as our starter was finished our main arrived. This had been kept warm which meant the chips were dry and over cooked. The waitress that was servicing us did apologise for the mistake that her daughter had made when inputting the order but I think the £80 the meal cost was over priced for the service and over heated food we received.
We arrived and stood for over 5 minutes with lots of people around who worked there but not one acknowledged us, in fact they did all they could to avoid us. Two members of staff were talking to tables that they knew, two bar staff were playing with bottles trying to show off, and the two girls were either stood at the pass talking or avoiding giving us eye contact. After waiting 5 minutes and being rudely ignored we left and went across the park to another restaurant, who the minute we walked in, greeted us, took us to a table and explained everything to us. I am rAting the experience as 1 star even though I’m sure the food would have been good.
Disappointing, we ordered double glazed hamburgers and the meat smells badly , we ate fries and left , our Sunday's dinner was ruin. I visited this restaurant in New York and the food was outstanding , waste if time and money .
Fantastic staff made my friend's 30th birthday lunch very memorable!
I was a little disappointed with the presentation. We ordered a full rack of ribs and a steak, however the steak came with just the chips and some very well done onions. No salad, no coleslaw, it just look so bare and dry. The same with the ribs, I could've sworn the last time I ordered them it came with coleslaw. They are delicious but the chips are a bit too salty and dry, it just needs a bit more flair and it would be lovely. Because of this, I felt the £50 bill was a bit too much, had we had just some added extras it would have felt worth it. The service was great and the atmosphere.
Went as family & friends for 13th birthday- all felt relaxed and welcome. Staff great. Enjoyed duck salad - would love to see steak salad on menu,
As our 1st ever visit ro tgi. The young male waiter who greeted us seemed stroppy and hated his job.then we were seated out of everyone's view. Once looking at the prices we became shocked on how costly ,and for what ? . So we left and went to frankie and bennys which was also our 1st visit.
Great service. Great food.
Food and service were lovely
Had a great time celebrating the hubby's birthday. Children really enjoyed it!
Meal to celebrate daughters birthday. Food and drink fine. Service was excellent despite the large party that arrived soon after we did. TGI Fridays has never disappointed.
Amazing food! Amazing service!
The steak on the grill I had was really tough. I think the food is expensive for what it is. The service was slow at the end of our meal. We had to ask for the desert menus ourselves. Even though we were there to celebrate a birthday which was on the booking nobody mentioned it. It didn't feel particularly special unfortunately.
Good food great service
Fantastic choice of venue for family get together- celebrating 13th birthday.
Had an amazing evening, staff were so helpful and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed by our party of 22 (even my hard-to-please 13 year old birthday boy had a fab time!)
There wasn’t any atmosphere. It was sit down and eat. Have been to a few TGIs in various locations and they have been buzzing and I love that but Stevenage restaurant was pretty dead No complaint about the food as it was lovely but please make the place more exciting and enjoyable
Excellent service by the team and special thanks to Justin the manager for looking after us so well. We will be back!
lovely as ever
Well, it’s really gone down hill here. We came for a birthday. We were seated in a filthy booth, opposite a large table which was over flowing with dirty dishes and was not cleared at all whist we were there. The waitress was not welcoming and it was very obvious she didn’t want to be there. None of the staff could answer basic questions about the menu/ ingredients. The drinks were t mixed properly. The table wasn’t reset between courses. Crockery was dirty. Desserts were not served as advertised, birthday cocktail voucher was not honoured as advertised. The staff sang happy birthday to my partner but my god, you could tell they were doing it under duress. The food in general was mediocre and the vegetarian options were not great either. We will never go back. Birthday was ruined.
Sat down but had to wait 15 mins to be seen even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. After this everything was ok
Very slow service and very rude staff. Waited 8 minutes before anybody welcomed us in. We then had to wait 20 minutes to order drinks despite asking a number off staff members. Drinks came separately with few minute intervals. Food was ok. My steak was well done instead of medium rare as requested. All in all I would not recommend and might as well of chucked my money in the drain
Loved the cocktails, came with great advice for the unsure cocktailer... good was great, service was awesome! Our group left very happy and we’re so going back!
Louder than what we are used to but very enjoyable food and great service. Hate the paper strawers. Useful as a chocolate teapot! Got through 5 within a couple of hours!
we arrived at 8.15 (the time we booked the table) and didn’t get seated until almost 9 o’clock. it then took almost half an hour for the food to arrive even though the whole restaurant had emptied out as it was now so late. after we’d finished eating, we then waited another 20 minutes for someone to clear our table even though there was a waitress stood at the table next to us, who had been talking the whole time we’d been eating! all 4 of us had wanted to order dessert but as it was coming up to 10 o’clock, we didn’t want to wait anymore so got the bill and left!
