Our server was really friendly and nice.
It was a total disaster ! My daughters 30th birthday meal , ordered food not coming to the table and charged on the bill , drinks charged for and not received , a cocktail that tasted awful , nothing like a porn star martini , sat almost in the shopping precinct , no ambience, slow service. Then to add insult to injury an hour after getting home ,my partner developed severe stomach cramps and vomiting . He was awake all night been I’ll , spent Saturday in bed I’ll , missed my daughters birthday party . We believe under cooked ribs were the cause. This ruined our weekend . We paid dearly for the privledge of this! After almost 20 years of going to t g I fridays I believe they have had there day ! Never again will we visit !
Had a great visit as always!
Table wasn’t ready at time booked. Food ordered not available had to have alternative, one plate served cold had to send it back. Service was excellent though and waitress was fab and very apologetic.
The place was busy but service was good at the bar and table and food came pretty fast considering it was so busy
food and service was great. I am confused how coca cola is not bottomless and is 10p more expensive than coca cola sugar free which is bottomless??
The service was very slow and the food wasn’t great
Took over an hour to be served one course
Thinking about my experience, well it was great to be sat down a bit early, however that’s about as good as it gets if I’m going to be harsh. We were seated on table which in no mans land by the fire exit Then the guy Dean who dealt with was a great bloke but was under a lot of pressure. As a result of a mixture of my inexperienced approach and his need to get on - order was wrong and one of the party was left unhappy We had drinks then a really good decent wait - we gave the order we then had a proper wait again My boys birthday experience wasn’t the best. We left a tip as an appreciative jesture for the hard working staff
There was a young guy who served us all night, it was my missus birthday but she doesnt do that clappy happy birthday thing you do but to be fair the guy came out with a slice of cake and handwritten happy birthday. Worked in restaraunt buisness for years and currently holding 2 stars and i can tell you without a doubt that the gentlemam who looked after us is 100 percent #ManagementMaterial
Excellent service from our waitor Andy. Very polite and helpful. An asset to your team.
Great place to eat and the food was delicious. service was excellent and ill defiantly be back again Thank you TGI Fridays
The server had lots of tables including mine plus a 10 top which meant I was ignored and had to wait half an hour to order then another 15 for dessert order which isn't good when TGI requested my able back by 815pm, I was given an apology by the manager of the night but think you shouldn't have put the server Emily in this situation and also the manager said if she known they would have got someone else to help but there was lots of servers going by and none of them stopped to ask. The front of house was walking by and when I stopped her she said I'm not a server but that wasn't my question, all I asked was If someone could server me so don't think she's a team player? Do you? I went home disappointed I don't go out to TGI much have been before and had no problems so not sure now if I'd be back, my thanks joe
Very friendly staff that aided me and my friends have a great meal.
Table booked for 6 people. When we arrived table was for 5 people: 5 places set and 5 chairs. The online booking asked if there were any requests. And if it was a special occasion. I specified it was my son's 18th birthday and asked if possible could balloons be on the table and / or chair. On arrival- No balloons or anything at all to show it was a birthday celebration. I would have appreciated a reply to state this wasn't possible and I would have provided my own. I researched legal drinking age with a meal - we had 2 17 year olds with us - one of whom of course was my son who was 18 the next day. They were expecting to have a cider witj their meal... as specified in the UK legal drinking guidelines. Although the food was lovely, we would not come again due to all the disappointments during the one visit. And a special occasion with which we were let down.
We had a booking for my daughters 10th birthday and the staff were brilliant. One of our party has allergies and this was dealt with very thoroughly and without any hold up or fuss. We'll be returning very soon!
Rude waiter, couldn't be bothered with good service, more concerned with looking at girls. 45 minute wait for starter not good.
I ordered the classic full rack of ribs which cost £18. I have had better ribs from lidls for £3 abd you also dont really get alot of fries. The garlic bread came with to much parsley on it and not enough garlic. The brownies that came were very small for £4.99 and i could of got bigger from a cake shop or coffee shop for a lot less money.
Food was nice and service was very prompt
Easy to book a table prior to arrival. Our server was very good even though they were extremely busy.
Certain parts of the food was cold. Restauarant was way too busy to what could be coped with by the staff, who although they are overworked, always had smiles on their faces and were very friendly. They made my daughters birthday by giving her cake and singing to her.
Really enjoyed the evening, absolutely fantastic atmosphere, our waitress Amy was lovely and really accommodating made our experience 10x better definitely recommend the food and cocktails were amazing
Really great atmosphere and food, staff lovely and attentive with being overbearing
Excellent friendly service and amazing food can’t wait to return
It was very busy for a Wednesday evening, they had the option to use up stairs but never! I sat as part of a party of 8 on a long table so with the noise an the table shape I couldn’t really interact with the other 4 people at the end of the table!! A round table would of been better they had them up stairs but that wasn’t offered! Our waiter Scott was lovely an helpful. Food wise I wasn’t really impressed it was nice but not great! I wouldn’t go again.
