Loved returning here for our pre-cruise evening meal. We're glad nothing had changed, Good Food, Great Service and Reception. Looking to eat at our local TGI soon. Also, reserving a table for our next visit next year. Thank You
Great evening and service - throughly enjoyable
Very good meal. Good atmosphere. Great price
The waiter was over attentive and the music was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation.
Excellent personal service from waitress
I had to ask them to redo the lobster mac and cheese because it was cold and dry. I also had to ask for a new corn on the cob for the same reason. The portions were really small for the price!
Food was good, service time was good, could be a tiny bit more attentive, was tucked round a corner in a booth (booth was requested however)
price is high
Thank you for the birthday cake and making my day special, also for being extra careful with gluten free!
Really amazing service.
Couple items wrongly ordered by waitress but great food and free cocktails as a birthday using the app
Lovely Birthday meal for a friend before cinema trip. Good value set meal plus most yummy coconut dessert. Lovely girl serving plus good refills on drinks as driving
Thank you to the lovely staff who sung my 4 year old happy birthday. Lovely food, great service and great staff.
Rump steak that my mum ordered was very fatty and she was unable to eat the majority. The chicken fajitas were also underwhelming. They certainly weren’t sizzling and the majority of the plate was tomato - very little onions, peppers or the usual things you’d find in a fajitas.
Amazing service on Friday when myself and my family came for a meal. I suffer with a fish and shellfish allergy! The way the on duty manager went through the allergens and explained what I could and couldn’t have was amazing. As a chef myself I know how important this is! I usually dread asking about allergies in restaurants but this made me feel like my needs were being considered and I didn’t feel embarrassed about my allergy. Thank you to the whole team who made our visit wonderful. We will be back.
We were served by Carley who was very attentive and excellent in serving our group. Dan on the bar was very friendly and helpful in recommending drinks. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and we had a great night. Thank you to all involved.
Great evening however when I arrived, I was informed that my table had already been taken by another group (despite my reservation) as they had clearly gotten mixed up with the bookings. Kind of frustrating but managed to get a new table fairly quickly so all good from then onwards.
Food was cold and waited forever to be served and for tables to be cleared, asked for bill twice, sent a manager over as food was cold and all we got was I’ll take something off the bill well a measly 10% is nothing if you can’t enjoy the food and spend over £40 on dining out and by time he comes over it’s too late for them to say I’ll replace it well you should of come round earlier and asked how the food was but unfortunately your waitresses are not that interested in the customers
Food was average, crispy duck wasn't very crispy and the fries were only warm
After arriving and swiftly being shown to our seats, we were then not even acknowledged or spoken to by our waitress for 35 minutes! Eventually we were seen & order was taken. From this point the service was great, although our waitress was not the cheeriest.
We were sat at a table in a busy area and it was extremely noisy and dark. We asked to move which we did and it was better by the window and quieter but we then waited 10 minutes to be served and a further 20 minutes for our drinks. We watched the people seated after us at our previous table get their drinks and food before we had our drinks even. The food was pretty good but over priced. The corn on the cob was bone dry and covered in chilli powder so inedible. the deserts however were delicious.
Unfortunately our experience wasent the best. The restaurant became very busy and under staffed. ( which a member of staff did inform us) Resulting in us spending 4 hours in total for a 2 course meal, leaving our children tired and fed up. Waited over an hour for 2 puddings which we ended up asking to change the puddings we orignally chose( ice cream) so we could just have them as a take out. Staff were understandable stressed and under alot of pressure which did reflect on the restaurants atmosphere making us feel uncomfortable requesting our bill and puddings to be changed.
Nothing anyone could have avoided, but being in the "conservatory" section of the restaurant was incredibly hot because it was such a sunny day - the glass roof just exacerbated the heat from the sun and the air con seemed to be in another section of the restaurant only.
Was a table of 4 with 1 coeliac and another with complex allergies. Manager and stuff all knew about the menu and the service was brilliant! Well done on being very clued up on the food you are serving!
