Very hot in the restaurant, waited a while for food and drinks. Waitress was lovely and food was nice.
Great waiter, Joshua who went above and beyond
Service was excellent, food was delightful.
Myself and my partner both had steak but unfortunately it was overcooked, but worse of all not hot at all. Waitress was great though.
Booked a table, requested a booth and highlighted it was my daughter's birthday on the online booking. As instructed we arrived 15 mins early only to be told we were early and to wait in the bar area. Bought endless refill drinks at the bar and ordered food. Food was mediocre, chips were very salty, to the extent that my daughter had to wipe hers on a paper napkin before eating. On receipt of the bill the endless refills had been charged per individual drink, the server stipulated that because we had swapped between one lemonade and Coke once that we had to pay for all drinks. A disappointing visit and no birthday acknowledgement.
Good food but the Times Square starter was a bit over priced for small portions, not enough to feed 3-4 people as stated on menu.
Excellent service and friendly staff.
Excellent as usual. Was quiet sonatmosphere wasn’t like a busy tgi’s
Great food and very enjoyable evening
Our waiter for the evening was very upbeat and great service with a large booking for a joint birthday meal. I had an issue with my steak and he took it off the bill and gave a free drink.
Had a lovely evening! The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful.
Poor atmosphere compared to other tgi's we have visited- very flat and no buzz. It was our son's 5th birthday and they were unable to make him a balloon hat and didnt make him feel special as we have had in other restaurants in your chain. Offered him a stick balloon but then couldnt find one. Food was of good standard except fries which were cold and returned. My son left in tears as he did not have the same experience his sister had in the Reading and Metrocentre restaurant.
I havnt been to TGI’s for a few years but, we thought we would go with our children to celebrate my husbands birthday. The starters were good however, everything went down hill from there. It was like the waitress totally forgot about us. The children’s meals came out about 10 mins before ours. Our ribs were thrown at us - we needed replacement cutlery and I had I ask 3 times. We asked for ketchup and that never came. My chips were cold and needed changing and our ribs were cold all the way through. My son has a bad turn and we had to leave so left the money on the table and walked out leaving all the terrible food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Terrible and not how I remember from years ago!
Was very cold in the restaurant, took a while for our starters to come out and when they did they got one of the orders wrong. Lovely deserts
The waitress was polite and nice, but she seemed disorganised and rushed off her feet too much. Then she made a mistake on our bill and nearly charged us £10 too much. Lucky we spotted it...
Good food, good service
It was too cold in there to be enjoyable unfortunately, took 15 minutes to take a drinks order and it wasn’t really that busy.
It was very busy. All staff seemed to be happy and chatting/lovely to one another despite a few birthday parties etc as well. Created a nice atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing, lovely woman, had a permanent smile on her face and was very helpful 😊. The food was perfect despite it being busy and us asking for changes to the dishes. A great wedding anniversary meal for us.
Joe was our waitor and was brilliant. The food was lovely and came quickly.
Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience at TGI Fridays. We can honestly say that the service and food was shocking. We arrived at 6pm and didn't have our order taken until 6.20pm. We then had to wait for our starters which didn't arrive until 7pm. After flagging down the waiter to order drinks they also took a while to get to us. Indeed we made the waiter aware that the service wasn't good enough and he then told us it was his first day so we gave him the benefit of the doubt. When we had been waiting 30 minutes for our main to come out we enquired how long this would take. Our main didn't reach the table until 7.45pm! At this point the entire table was agitated and just wanted to eat. However, the food was terrible and clearly had been sat under a hot light for the past hour - burgers were tough, ribs were chewy, buns were stale and chicken was dry. We were all extremely disappointed and made a complaint to the waiter serving us to ask to see management. Management never came so we found a different waiter and informed them of the issue who brought out management promptly. Georgia the manager was very understanding and understood our disappoint and stated her embarrassment. Georgia said they had been experiencing issues with the waiter we were given for the night for months - the waiter made an excuse for his poor service which turned out to be a complete and utter lie! We did not want to wait a further hour for our mains to be remade so we made it very clear we were not going to pay for the meals which had clearly not been touched. We had money taken off of our bill and a heartfelt apology from Georgia. As we chose TGI Fridays for a work function we now know we made the wrong choice and we are very unlikely to dine there again. It is so sad to see how downhill this restaurant has gone and we hope the right measures are taken to sort out the huge problems they have as it badly reflects TGI's as a whole.
The air conditioning working would have been good and to also have the option to have a coffee. We were told the coffee machine broke 6 months ago and they weren’t getting it fixed.
Service was very rude, argued and walked away mid conversation as I was complaining about my order. Didn’t apologise for the inconvenience or offer any solotuion. Falsely advertised free refills but didn’t tell us full fat coke wasn’t included. So we had to pay for drinks we were told were free. The steak we ordered came out tiny with one lettuce leaf. On the menu it says ‘house salad’ not a single lettuce leaf. The staff were unable to cumunicate and as a paying customer I do not exspect staff to argue with me and walk away. The food was lovely however the few issues we had were not dealt with. I’ve eaten there many times before however my recent visit has put me off.
Unfortunatly we were seated in the conservatory which was draughty but luckily we did have jackets to hand as although the heater was on it didn’t actually make any difference. The service was okay we were being served by a guy who openly explained it was his 2nd week so there was room for improvement on his part as we did have to wait longer than we usually would and some of the things we ordered were slightly wrong. It however hasn’t put me off as the food was delightful and the atmosphere was good and so was the food.
