Waitress was very attentive and friendly
had a really good night..
There were no hot dogs or ice cream :(. Other than that everything was great
Booked a table for 8, didnt get seated until 8.40 it was ridiculous!! Food wasn't great, wasnt asked if it was okay and staff were quite rude, not a good experience
Find it very odd that you have a different member of staff for different things and not the same member of staff responsible for a table for their visit. Service was slow considering how quiet it was when we got there. Members of staff were very friendly and accommodating it was just awkward dealing with so many different people.
Absolutely appalling customer service and food burnt chicken to be charged £45 pound to be told there’s only to chefs in and to be served bad food was given a waiting device we waited for over 45 min for people to walk in and walk straight to a table when confronted staff was given a table this was a date night and felt let down by TGI Fridays
I have visited TGIs on numerous occasions, unfortunately on this occasion my experience was terrible. Despite booking a table for 7:30pm, when our party of 3 arrived the gentleman said he was sorting our table out and then disappeared for over 20 minutes, we then had to ask the hostess for an update, only to be told they are cleaning the table for us. We eventually were seated after 45 mins of waiting. The waitress didn’t come get our drinks order, again we had to ask where our waitress was. Our 3 drinks arrived after a 30 minute wait, 2 of the drinks were different to what we ordered. Our food came nearly an hour later, we were past hungry at this point. Our waitress could see we weren’t happy and she advised the manager to come and see us. He apologised, but suggested some ways he could rectify the situation, but the unfortunately the night was spoiled but such poor service from start to finish.
Tgis is a great restaurant with great atmosphere, food and drinks and is reasonably priced. The service is also normally really good. However on my last experience i had reserved a table for 19:15 for two people, only to be seated at 20:30. In that one hour and a half wait there was not one apology. After being seated it took a futher half an hour for the food. None of the staff were the slightest bit apologetic, really poor service. Apart from that i still had a nice evening, food and cocktails.
Usually love it here for food and service! Unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for a table we had already booked & half an hour between our starter and main. No apologies for the wait & servers seemed too rushed to check in on us during our meal. Shame as usually the service is much better. My sons steak was also over cooked 😞
Even though we booked a table we still Had to wait over an hour to be seated: there were many others in the same situation. Many upset customers.
One of the starters was burnt, had to ask for cutlery to eat starters. When main course arrived nobody to ask for cutlery so had to go and find some myself for all at my table. Waited ages between courses. Was left with a desert menu for so long we didn't bother and put coats on to leave and asked for the bill. Have eaten here many times, this time was on request by my daughter for her birthday. Won't be returning to TGI's - not had an experience like this in a restaurant for a long time.
Booked a table, but table wasn’t ready for half an hour later. Food came and was cold, not what we ordered, had to send it back and when it came back it was just not up to the usual standards, had clearly been microwaved which made the cheese on the burger taste/smell like plastic. Music was way too loud couldn’t even have a convo with the person opposite.
After booking a table got 19.30 we we got there to be told our table wasnt ready. Which is fair enough it was busy. Got a drink in the bar ordered a non alcoholic cocktail and a alcoholic cocktail. The barman didnt let us know which was which and when asked he didnt answer me. So ordered a diet coke to prevent myself drinking the alcoholic one as I'm pregnant. Finally got our table at 20.30 which literally had been wiped and not set back up (No cutlery or servietts). Table was right next to the window which had a severe draft and we kept our coats on the whole time. Food was ok. Brought out relatively quickly. Asked for my drink to be re filled which the waiter did however i found out once we had left that the diet coke had been added our bill again when it was supposed to be re fillable. Which my partner didnt choose to say anything because we just wanted to leave as it was getting late. Wouldnt recccomend or return.
Waiter didn’t write our order down so our kids dinners never came out. We was also put next to a table of teens who was throwing food and shouting. Disappointing trip as wanted a nice family dinner but ended up with hungry and grumpy children who are 5 and 2 years old.
Was great been there as usual... great service...just the juice is always full of ice.make it alittle not too tasty..but overall.was perfect..I will definitely be back
Fabulous meal with great staff and lovely atmosphere. My only criticism is the seats were dirty with food on them
Really disappointed with the food. I asked for ribs and steak. I asked the steak to arrive medium rare, it arrived very much well done. The ribs were incredibly dry. I was really disappointed as all of the other local TGIs are faultless. Won’t be returning to this branch.
Only thing I would complain about is 1 of the waitress who started clearing the plates whilst people were still eating was bad manners from her
Service was great, food quick. Great experience, thanks
staff went above and beyond but quality of the food was not good
sat down in a corner of the area that was freezing. sat there for 16 minutes then gave up waiting to be served(resturant was quiet too) so walked out and went somewhere else.
Had to wait 10 minutes for simple drinks and then 50minutes for starters. Asked a waiter for a glass of water which never came so had to ask someone else. Felt forgotten about as it took over 10 minutes to order mains and then felt pressured by the waitress who took our plates before I could say I was finished. Then was presented with the bill straight after she took the plates even though no-one asked her for it. Felt like we were rushed out of the place as we were there for just under 2 hours even though we had to wait longer than what should be expected for any type of food
