Not sure if it is a Saturday thing. We waited 15 mins to be offered a chance to order a drink and order food and a further 20 mins for drinks and garlic bread to arrive, had to ask for mains, refills and bill on multiple occasions. Good food but a lack of attentive staff.
Waited over 35 minutes for someone to take our order, then drinks took an additional 20 minutes (once we asked how long they would be) table was dirty with no knifes and folks. Waitress who served us was very polite but was run off her feet while other waitresses/waiters were standing around. Again waited ages for someone to clear our table and eventually paid at the door as we left the restaurant as we could not wait any longer.
Here for my 21st birthday. We were a party of 12 and the restaurant wasnt that busy at all. Took about half an hour for half of the tables drink to come out and even longer for the other half. Food came about an hour and a half/ 2 hours after everyone arrived. And when they brought the cake out the table wasnt cleared first. Manager was also shocking, wouldnt do the free birthday drink for downloading the app. Overall should have gone to ask Italian very disappointing
Food lovely. Drink service very slow, in fact meals arrived prior to drinks.
Food wasn’t great, not very hot and the garlic bread was cold and soggy. The cocktails were good but very slow service as there was a trainee bar person. Our waitress, Lindsey, was very helpful and friendly.
Took 45 mins to be served a drink. Waited hour and half for food. People who arrived after us were getting served, eaten and left before we even got our starter. Steak that was ordered medium to well done was medium rare. We have been several times in the past and enjoyed our experience but this time was awful and wouldn’t go again. It was a shame as we were celebrating a 14th birthday celebration and had recommended this to friends who had come with us. Very disappointed.
A bit slow to come to our table after waiting To be seated! But the service after that was good and the food lovely !!
We were a group of 6 people and were shown to a small booth. We waited to order drinks for a while and then had to ask a waiter. The drinks finally arrived but we waited about 40 minutes for our food. This arrived on huge boards and plates and was extremely difficult to eat as there just wasn’t the room to move. The restaurant was very noisy and at no point were we asked if our meal was ok. Also we had to ask 3 people for some sauce. The fries were soggy and the food was not good value.
Waitress was brilliant... really helpful and couldn’t do enough to make my daughters birthday party special .
I reserved a table for me and my family on Saturday 29th September for 4:15pm. We got there and were told that the table wasn’t clean even though we had reserved 24hrs earlier. We didn’t get our order taken for 20minutes after sitting at our table. The drinks did not come for another 10minutes! When the food arrived it was delicious and tasted great. I’m not sure if you were understaffed? Or just very bad service. Such a shame as the food is great but I would not recommend due to the poor service.
There were five people for my son’s 13 birthday. Despite being offered children’s menus at the time of being seated, once I had left my son and his friends to order on their own, the staff denied them the opportunity to order from the kids menus. The staff said if they were old enough to be in the restaurant on their own then they couldn’t order from the children’s menu. This is unacceptable. My son’s group then waited over an hour for food to arrive after ordering. The table was booked at 1:15pm, I checked on the lads at 2:45pm and food had only just arrived. The whole experience was utterly disappointing and I can only assume they were treated so badly because they were five 12 and 13 year old boys. It’s unlikely we’ll be back.
lovely food great service
Only criticism is that the music was way too loud so we couldn't have a conversation.
The service was slow, table was hardly cleaned, right up to the end there was still dishes on the table used during starters. Food quality wasn't great and there was items on the menu that weren't available. Manager wasn't very helpful and made excuses when we complained. The worst TGI experience to date.
My daughters 13th birthday I advised in the booking and rang on the day to confirm it was a celebration. We had a lovely meal unfortunately no birthday celebration from the staff .. very disappointed
We went last night for a friends birthday and they were very very understaffed the server was a lovely girl but she was under so much pressure it took 40 minutes for our food to come and an hour for the food, loads of tables were complaining. Although we did get money off our bill it’s a shame as it ruined the experience felt sorry for our waitress!
Service was extremely slow, food was cold and of a below average standard.
We waited a very long time for a table, a lot of the options were sold out - the starter was fine and one main meal was fine, but another meal was just pasta and half of it wasn’t cooked. It was left, we left half the pasta that wasn’t cooked and told our server who said it was probably cooked in two batches with no apology. We then ordered a sundae, waited 20 minutes and it was melted by the time it arrived so it was left. We waited for our server but she took so long we just asked for the bill. When the bill came she said if we gave positive feedback she would take the starter off - so we did but I lied on the feedback, the experience was awful and put us off returning to T.G.I. Friday’s again.
Great service as always from Luisa our server.
Took over 30 minutes for our drinks to come and waited over an hour for food. As it was a meal before going to the cinema we also then missed the beginning of our film. Had to ask where our food was 3 times.
We waited for nearly an hour for our main which ruined my son’s 10th birthday. We won’t come again.
booked for half past six and has to wait twenty minutes for our table to be ready- was really annoying as we had booked because we had an event to go to.
They didn’t have the table ready and was told to come back
lovely waitress and had a fab time
Lovely food service was lovely was a little slow we waited 20 minuets for our drinks after we’ve ordered them but staff was quick to bring them after we complained
