Our server was very attentive. Our children have allergies and they were very helpful with regards to the menu.
Anthony the manager, was fantastic and really made our dining experience very special and enjoyable!
Food was delicious as always, service not great. We ordered pretty quickly and our starters arrived in good time but we were left with empty plates in front of us for over 20 minutes. During this time we had also finished our drinks but couldn’t order more as our waitress had disappeared! A couple across from us had their plates cleared, dessert ordered & arrived in the time our starter plates were still sat there! Also had to ask for a drinks menu as none were provided.
We brought our daughter here last night to celebrate her 11th birthday. Feel the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special. Thank you
Burgers are a bit dry need more sauce even as an option, waiters are ok however could pop to your table a little more in case you need extra drinks, sauces ect... cocktails are good but are over priced, atmosphere is fine however cleaning isn’t too great sat at one of the round tables and above there’s a res light shade is was dusty and all you could think about was knocking it and dust falling off onto your food these need to be cleaned daily! :/
Food did take a very long time to come out, we waited for over a hour and a half for our mains to come out with a 4 year old child then getting aggy, also getting drinks wrong a few times resulting in us having to wait again for the correct drinks to be brought to us and at one point he forgot my daughters ribena he did apologise but she went without a drink throughout her meal.
Really enjoyed food
The grandchildren loved it.
Fantastic food and free birthday cocktails! Lovely evening out
Service, food and drink quality are always very good at this TGI's. Highly recommended and advise to book, especially at weekends as it is so popular.
Service was great, we arrived early and were seated immediately. Food was prompt, hot, and very tasty
Overall a great experience however the music was a little too loud which had an effect on conversation.
Service really slow and on the menu it said creamy mashed potatoes but it was dried up microwave mash for the money this is not acceptable
The waitress was very friendly and helpful Food was good
Leanne is an amazing waiter!
The table was late by over half an hour although we turned up 15 minutes early as recommended by TGI website - so it was a long wait. The music was incredibly loud and 'tinny' so it was genuinely impossible to talk to each other over the table. The food was good although the salads were tired and moth eaten and they forgot the dressing (mistakes happen - not a problem). What is unforgivable is having toilet floors awash with urine. We didn't complain though we did pester a little after 45 minute wait and one of the staff dropped £24 from the bill which didn't cover the extra drinks while waiting - but was a nice nod to the problem - he didn't have to as we hadn't complained. Really - in Solihull there are much nicer places to go where you can sit and listen to music AND chat - the restaurant was not overly clean and the toilets some of the most disgusting and smelly I have been in. The staff were pleasant but overstretched and everything had to be asked for twice (still waiting for the mayo!) and apart from the salads the food OK and some of really lovely but once eventually seated we then had a further half hour wait for food. We went on a Saturday evening so maybe OK at less busy times. It really is a misjudgement having tiny music that loud - needs turning down a little or a better system. Overall did not enjoy but tried to make the best of it. Sound like a right moaner - and honestly I never complain and am really easily satisfied - but this was not a good experience and if we'd paid full price - would have been about £100 for the four of us. Avoid (certainly on a Saturday) - there are some really much better places literally over the way.
We visited for a birthday meal for my son. Antony and the team were attentive as always, and we were well looked after. Thanks again!
Table was booked for 7.15 and we weren’t seated until 7.45. On seating waiter was very friendly however, the food order came out incorrectly. I then had to consequently wait for my meal to be cooked so we ate our meals separately which wasn’t great.
given it was lunchtime when we arrived the music way too loud but to be fair was turned down when I requested though still made having a conversation difficult. though quiet the food took over 30 minutes to arrive and when it did it was very was average with the two people having to return their salad that was swamped in dressing so all very soggy. overall it was not the greatest experience and unlikely to return or ever recommend your tgi Fridays.
We ordered food and this took 45 mins to come out, i understand it was a busy saturday night but people who arrived after us were getting there food served before us. We ordered another drink while eating our food and we had finished the food before the drink had come round to us. We had booked to see a film an hour and 10 mins later than the tablet was booked and we nearly missed the start. The atmosphere was great and out waiter that we had was lovely and apologised for the wait.
Waited 45 mins for my table even though I had already pre booked a table at 8pm. Took a further 20 mins to order our food. Other than that the food was great and came out relatively quickly.
Lovely service. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and the team made it special for her
The food took almost an hour to come, and when it did it was only just warm which was very disappointing. However the actual food was incredible, tasted absolutely amazing and there was plenty of it!
