Table wasn’t ready for when we got there and was not seated as close as I would have liked considering it was a birthday meal. However the waiter who served our table was a lovely girl and was very polite and couldn’t do more to help us. Overall okay probably wouldn’t book here again because of the space
Fabulous night, waitress ws gorgeous and very helpful and friendly, will visit again soon.
My daughter was eating her meal when she found paper from packaging amongst her meal. This was addressed with the manager who advised both kids meals would be free of charge however only one meal was taken off the bill. I didnt argue as was a busy sunday afternoon and needed to get back for my youngest baby.
Steak sent back as too tough and looked like the wrong cut was served
The food was really nice but unfortunately as our starter plates was being cleared away our main course appeared, we had no break between courses which meant unfortunately food was left as we just couldn't eat it. It felt like we were being rushed to hurry up and leave despite lots of tables being empty. Disappointing and wouldn't rush to go back.
Very slow service and some items of food were burnt
1st time for my parents and sister, thought it was fantastic and will be returning
I’d earned some stripes via the app & used them, awesome time had!
I had the duck fajitas and i really loved them... thoroughly recommend them! My husband had burger and chips though and he wasnt as impressed, he said the chips were awful
Great Birthday tea for our son who had a great time.
Unfortunatly after half an hour of sitting in our seats we hadn't even received a drink so left
Our server was lovely, very ob the ball and our food sidnt take to log to come even though it was very busy
Had a wonderful birthday celebration didn’t have everything on the menu namely the tomahawk steak but never mind Samuel Adams is only place in Solihull to drink drink.
Customer service wasn't the best. We had to go up to the bar for all of our drinks to be refilled. We wasn't approached to ask how food was and we had an issue with our burger and pasta being over cooked. Service is normally very good.
we didnt eat there as service was slow and vwe were ignored
the service was very slow they weren't overly welcoming music overpowered everything they accused us of underage drinking even though the law is that if you are 16 years old and accompanied by an adult, you are legally allowed to drink in a restaurant, they pulled us over and accused us of underage drinking, being FULLY UNAWARE of the LAW, very poor, very low to not be aware of the law of a 16 year old being able to have a glass of alcohol with a meal if accompanied by adults, one quick google search will indeed show you that we were not lying like the accused of us food was nice, but far too overpriced i was very much looking forward to it but it was very underwhelming
It took 40mins for our first round of drinks to come and this service of drinks carried on for the rest of the night. We also waited an hour for our starts to come with no apology for how long it took! When the mains arrived they were cold burgers, and chips with really not much flavour. Very very disappointed as it wasn’t even that busy! I have been coming to TGI’s for atleast 5 years and this has been the worst service I’ve ever had.
We arrived at TGI’s and although it was busy there was still time for staff members to talk amongst themselves instead of taking orders. We were sat for around 15/20 minutes before being for our order. Our starter come out (potato skins sharer) and when it arrived I said “there’s no sauce in the bowl” - which should have been filled with sour cream, she went and come back and said “we’ve run out”.. I don’t know why they thought an empty bowl would be a better option. Then our mains come out. My boyfriend ordered a burger which he said was not worth the money and he has had better elsewhere. My main course was very nice I do have to say, other than the coleslaw being dry. Our waitress herself was lovely and she was running round serving whilst other staff members were just standing around talking and not appearing to take much notice of what was going on around them.
Second time here in a few weeks and had to wait soooo long for service!! Ordered drinks and meals altogether and waited half an hour for drinks! Manager came over at end to say he noticed our wait and gave a discount but it’s still not good enough. Restaurant wasn’t even busy. Our waitress was very nice.
Waited nearly 35 minutes just for our starter.
We have enjoyed TGI in the past but this outing was a bit disastrous which was a shame as it was for Father’s Day. We were sat in the section by the toilets despite specifically asking for a table not in that section when the reservation was made. We were then moved to a nice table but then not asked if we wanted a drink until the manager asked us. We eventually got our drinks about 30 minutes after arriving and then when we ordered our food was told there were no ribs and we should have been told this when we arrived. The ribs were why my husband£ chose TGI so at that point we left. TGI did not charge for our drinks although only my husband had started his, Luckily we got a table at Firejacks instead where we received great service and food including great ribs.
Very disappointed with our visit yesterday (Father’s Day). We arrived and our table wasn’t clean so ordered a drink at the bar which was fine. We were seated chose our food then was served to be told there were no ribs or chicken breast. There was no communication to say they were having problems with the food when seated and I feel this should have been the case. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere.
Waitress was lovely but they were out of alot of dishes which was fine as they told us before we ordered. But then after an hour and a bit wait after our starters she came and told me the dish I ordered was not available. I don't understand why that took 60+ mins to figure out especially as it wasn't busy. Also we ordered a side of fries and we had basically finished our mains by the time they came out. Overall service was friendly but very slow. It took 20mins to get the card machine brought to us after we asked to pay and when we were waiting for our table to be ready to be seated we were completely ignored as we stood at the bar wanting to get drinks.
Food was cold even though we waited a while for ages for the food to come out.
