Staff were professional,friendly and attentive.
Booked a table for my son's birthday and drove 30 miles to Solihull to find a note on the door telling us the restaurant was closed!!! Why no email to inform us,very annoyed....can't give no star rating....
Booked for my daughter and her friends she was 14 so her first time going on her own was a big thing for her! She asked the waitress when ordering if they could pay separately as they to make it easier for them she was told it was to much hassle which is ashame
The music was a bit too loud, 2 portions of chips came out cold. Other than that a really enjoyable meal.
We ordered coke refills but getting them refilled was difficult having to ask several times also when the bill arrived we had been charged for a refill. This was deducted when queried.Would always suggest to customers to check their bills before paying
Thankyou for singing to my daughter, I booked a table for her 14th Birthday, she came with her friends and had a lovely time.
Lovely menu, lovely atmosphere, cant ask for too much more. Just a little slow on service at some points.
Shocking how bad the service has become and the general state of the place too. My sons birthday, I booked online a month early, and asked for the balloons and cake. I then phoned half an hour before arrival to check it would be ready and told yes. Arrived and nothing. No one cares, all the staff sitting around in booths, bad quality food and expensive. Ruined evening. Wont be back. Shame you cant give zero stars for service as 1 star is far too much
Cannot fault the food - credit to the chef, Shame about the service we received. Definitely won’t be going back and would not recommend.
my daughter had a lovely twelfth birthday party thanks
Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.
Service was very slow for a Wednesday night as there was a few big parties in. Starters were good but sadly main took forever to turn up and most of the food was luke warm and dried out. So very disappointed with food. So much so that TGIs will be very low on our list from now on.
Only slight grumble was that the adults food came out first with the children's a little after. Ideally this would be the other way round so adults meals aren't going cold whilst sorting the kids out.
Service was slow I know it was Mother’s Day the waitress got my daughters order wrong we had finished our meal before her child’s meal came back out bit disappointed we couldn’t all eat together
We waited nearly 10 minutes at the bar waiting to be served drinks whist our table was cleaned. Only 1 bar tender .. serving 3 cocktails.. another guy eventually served us.. every time is the same in TGI’s sadly..
I've been to a few of these restaurants now and the Solihull one was by far the worst i've ever been to. We were greeted fine and taken to our seats, It then took around 10 minutes for someone to come over and asked us if we wanted drinks and then was pushy to get our food order which we hadn't decided upon. I went the the mens toilets, there was no lock on one of the doors and the other was broken with the toilet not clean at all so i opted to use the shopping centre ones which were much better maintained. The food came out and was ok. I had another shock when i came out considering me or my partner didn't eat and i only had a glass of water. My son had ribs and my daughter had a meal from the kids menu and 3 cokes all came to just over £37. Definitely not value for money. Is a real shame as we don't get to go out much as a family and then we had a dissapointing outting like this.
Lovely meal and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The only gripe was that the table was a tight fit - not much room between the table and bench (I'm pregnant), and also, every table had a balloon flower on it except for ours.
Always love our visits to TGI in Solihull. The stmosphere is always brilliant and the staff are always willing to help in any way. Great food and drink everytime and there is alot of choice.
Placed on a table cramped in a corner, staff happy clappy but not trained to be either professional or attentive. Place is not interested in families just couples. Plus dirty floors and toilets. Sorry normally love TGIs but this place is run by Students serving Students
Good food but waited a long time to be seated and for our orders to be taken.
Favourite place to come and eat!
Food and atmosphere were amazing. Service wasn’t great, staff need to check tables more frequently.
