Claire was our waiter. She was absolutely fabulous! We'll come again. Thank you Claire for everything.
It was our daughters birthday, waiter was attentive, patient given two of our party arrived late . we looked at the cocktail list and was informed the the cocktail competition
One course was sent back as was only warm. The building was too cool, making us feel uncomfortable. Did comment to staff.
First visit and for my daughters birthday with her friends. It was a great evening and I cannot speak highly enough of the service and staff, they were brill and I would definitely recommend
The staff were very good and the food was lovely
Amy looked after us during our visit, she was attentive and great with our grandkids. The food as always was lovely with a great choice on the menu. The kids activity pack kept out grandkids entertained whilst we waited for our food. We always visit here when we are in Sheffield and have never been disappointed.
Slow service, waiting to be served for drinks etc
Our waitress was called chloe and she was fabulous! Made our experience amazing
Quickly served, order came all correct.
Thanks to our server Laura I think it was and the ladies serving us, was another great experience! Thank you.
Staff friendly and helpful. Food was bland nothing special, £60 for two people, despite TGI’s being a chain restaurant we expected more for our money.
We were very disappointed that both the Bruce Lee Burger and Mexi Dog had been taken off menu. It was a birthday treat that we’d been looking forward to since our ldaughters last birthday!
Garlic bread was dry and burnt and the service was poor had to wait 10 mins for someone to ask if starters okay, second one came this was burnt but dry no garlic flavour in site Also sesame chicken ordered 3 and they all had different portion sizes , one wAs almost half size. which never complained cause felt like a moaner.
The hay market? Cocktail felt like it had fruit peelings and rubbish in it. Only drinkable with lemonade in to alter the taste
Prior to visiting on this occasion, we have always enjoyed TGI’s for the large portions of food. Since you have updated your menu, I cannot believe how much some portions have shrunk in size. I had the 8oz Sirloin Steak with the Jack Daniels glaze, fries & salad. For £17.49 I expected a decent size piece of meat, not a tiny “off-cut” that looked more like half of a fillet steak. Gone are the days of double fries, instead replaced by a measly sized basket of fries - 11 fries in total on my plate that day. That’s right - 11! As for the salad, I appreciate that every restaurant is trying to give customers a more healthier option rather than fries etc, but to have half of a lettuce on a plate piled high with other salad items is a little too much. This was double the size, if not larger, of the so called “sirloin steak” I had ordered!! When our food arrived, I made a comment to a staff member asking where the rest of my meal was and the reply I got was “that’s the new menu now, that’s the portion size”.. Reading their body language, they looked so embarrassed to be telling me as a customer that for £17.49, I was being served a meal that doesn’t have more than £5’s worth of food on the plate. As a result of this “upgrade” to the menu (more like a drastic downgrade) we will not be returning to a TGI restaurant again and instead will take our hard earned pennies elsewhere where we feel less robbed of our money.
Was lovely food and great service but unfortunately they put us in the conservatory which was red hot with no air con so spoiled our night and won’t be booking again with a large number until it cools down.
A lovely family meal slightly spoiled by the broken air con on a very hot evening. Amazing staff , just a shame that a large restaurant chain such as this can’t get the basis sorted.
Brilliant evening celebrating birthday. Great food and fabulous service from Peter. He has lovely.
The server we had was very kind. Lovely place and would go again 100%
Lovely atmosphere. Great staff. Love TGI's!
I do think meals are over priced unless you are buying on a deal.
