Service was very slow. We had been in the restaurant half an hour before our drinks arrived. Starters - Nachos were tasteless & mozzarella dippers were very empty of Mozarella. Mains - My husband's chips were cold when the meal arrived, though they did replace them. I thought the chips were also tasteless - Didnt they used to have a nice spice on them? My portion of sesame chicken was huge and very tasty though, which was the redeemer! When I booked I also stated that it was a birthday, but that was overlooked. In all honesty, unless my child begs me to eat there again, then I wouldn't go back. Nothing special.
We had my sons birthday party and TGI's food caters for every taste. The young lady who served us was absolutely fantastic and food as always was brilliant. Everyone singing TGI's own brand of the happy birthday song was brilliant, my son loved the party, thank you TGI's.
TGI provides the best ever service regarding nut allergy we have ever had. Excellent knowledge, superb manager and care taken. Can’t praise highly enough.
We had a nice evening but drinks was very slow to be served so we did move on to another bar . It was a long wait between starter and main what would of been fine if we could of got drinks . Wine was not chilled
amazing food as per usual, great service and will definitely be going back !!!
Very slow service though polite staff. The food was awful in every way. The sesame chicken was over cooked so was hard, chips was tasteless, floppy it looked like they had been cooked a few times during the evening. The burger.... you would get better in Macdonald’s
We booked for a child's birthday and made a note in the special requests section so it was not missed. We ordered drinks which never arrived and when our waitress was moved to a different section the birthday seemed to be forgotten about which is a big deal when you are six. The cake arrived a long time after the kids puddings and really seemed like an afterthought. Despite the delay my pudding had still not arrived so I had no choice but to cancel it. Really not what I would expect from TGI’s.
Well this was a treat before starting back at school/college for my children and we loved it, our waitress was extremely helpful and polite and really couldn’t do enough for us. I had a bottomless soft drink and as soon as I finished it was refilled, how she New I had drunk it I don’t know? But can’t fault her she was amazing. The food in TGI is always perfect it gives us a little taste of America in our own back yard. Our waitress was heavely pregnant and was back and forth all the time without stopping. Felt sorry for her on her feet.
It was my birthday and I booked a table with some friends. We ordered drinks and starters shortly after arriving. Four ultimate cocktails took 30 mins to get to us, while three starters (that we were sharing,) took 1 hour 15 minutes before we got to eat them. We waited another 45 - 60 minutes for mains and a second round of cocktails. We spoke to the manager and he gave us 10% discount, which none of felt was sufficient as a two course meal at a casual dining restaurant should not take 3.5+ hours, but as it was my birthday I didn’t have the energy to argue. Our main waitress (Ola) was lovely, but we were served by a few other members. One waitress just threw the plates on our table without a word. The food was of an acceptable standard for the level of the restaurant but again not worth the wait. I am very unlikely to come here again.
Friendly, approachable staff, nothing was too much trouble. Large selection of food to pick from, the food was served quickly and was piping hot. Good value for money, I feel the steaks are rather pricy though.
Food was great and so was the service.
Had GF bbq chicken, it was blan with no taste not worth 13.99!! And my other half had a burger and chips. Chips were disgusting and dry, no dip stayed on the chips just ran off every time we dipped them in a sauce. Burger was £12.99 neithe of them were worth that money. Also waiting time was ridiculous too. Never going here again.
Absolutely warm disgusting medeoca meal child's meal sent back twice food cold not even buzy only 9 tables service was ask at the bar for your bill never again £100 pounds on the worst food ubhave experienced on a TGIs
Sophie/Sofia (not sure now), was excellent, topped my refillable drink within minutes of me finishing and my friends glass when needed. we weren't left waiting for ages to be seated and then served. Waitress also asked was there any reason why we had come (even though i hadn't stated it on the booking), it was for two of our birthdays, so the free cake was nice (much to the embarrassment of my friend). The cake was a bit sickly after a while and huge in size after a meal. Overall a lovely evening out.
Out of date chocolate sauce given to my children, staff having no explanation
Food and Service were good but we were seated between two large male only parties who were extremely loud and swearing - Don't go on a Saturday night if want to have a conversation.
Service was terrible, waiter friendly but seemed to be too busy or not enough staff, drinks took 10 mins to come to table and starters were seen stuck under the pass for 10-15 mins, when brought out the prawns were warm and so was the salad! Main course was really good though! Table weren’t getting cleaned and took 1 hr for the table next to us to get cleaned after the customers left!
Really enjoyed my birthday meal and will definitely be returning very soon, great food and a great selection of drinks.
Portion sizes have changed dramatically and still at the same cost. Was not happy with my visit to TGIs and normally that’s mine and my partners favourite place to eat but we were very disappointed this time round.
Great staff, lovely food, good portions. Excellent value for money
The absolute best Jenny was amazing last night definitely made our night Thank you guys you were fabulous as always xx
Unfortunately we chose not to stay and eat at TGI's as whilst we were seated promptly, when we were finally asked our drinks order, the first two choices (a bottle of Pinot Blush & a bottle of White Pinot) we were told that they had neither in stock as 'it was a Sunday and everything had sold on Saturday night'. We then asked for a bottle of prosecco and the waitress went to check, eventually came back and informed us that they did, however she had placed it in the fridge to cool as it was room tempreature. We were there to celebrate my mothers birthday and therefore wanted to have a good time with drinks and food, as the two top drinks of our choice were unavailable, and our third not looking to get to us for at least 15 minutes, we decided to go elsewhere. I have had lots of great experiences at TGI's previously, however the ubove are my views on the latest visit which was dissapointing.
