Great food and great service. Cocktails are lovely
We like this restaurant and go roughly once every 4-6 weeks so we know that the service we received wasn’t usual service but our order was incorrect (although rectified quickly) and some of the items ordered were stone cold. We were also sat at the side of the restaurant near the toilet which is not a good table as we felt as though we weren’t in the restaurant. We have never had this experience before so i’m Sure it was a one off.
Music was far too loud. I’ve been to tgi fridays a lot of times, the music is reasonably loud and I know music helps the atmosphere but we couldn’t hear each other from one side of the table to the other. The food was just below average in fact one member of our group said it was the worst food he has had at a tgis.
Walked in, sat down told to get a drink as the table wasn’t ready. Stood for 10minutes waiting to get a drink. Then waiter came over, said ‘apologies, the table was ready - I got the name wrong’ I said well I would like to get a drink like you said 10minutes ago - went to sit and everything took ages. Then forgot what drinks we ordered. Embarrassing service
The cocktail the gremlin did not look the way it did in the picture but still tasted nice
We have been coming to TGI's for many years, as our children have grown up. The service and food, have slowly got poorer. You get good days/bad days, but this was the evening, that we have decided we won't be coming back. Waitress did not want to be there and very slow, and food was not its a good standard at all. :-(
Very disappointed! I tried calling all day to book a table for my husbands birthday and could not get through to any one. I then booked a table of 8 and a table of 5 online. I kept calling all afternoon to see if we cohld have them together. When i finally got hold of someone they said we couldnt. Once we arrived at the resturant we asked again if it was at all possible and we were still told no. A few times through out the evening i used the washroom which meant walking through the resturant, where i could see plenty of tables we could of sat on all together. We felt like the staff didnt want us to sit in the other part of the resturant as it was empty and would need tidying. As i said i am very disappointed as i love tgi’s but will be in no hurry to come back
Really good food , and the waitress ( young lady ) was absolutely brilliant ! Happy , efficient, and just so helpful ! Everyone commented on how good the food was and how good she was !
Really friendly staff who made my daughters 5th Birthday very special.
Audience. Not good enough 😛
Very slow service and average food. Free birthday cocktails tasted only like syrup with no alcohol - definitely gone down hill.
I changed my booking online from 4 to 6 people. Got to the restaurant & it was still showing as 4. We then had to wait for a table
Staff were friendly and helpful and food was amazing! Seasame chicken FTW
Some issues with food beforehand but generally very good. Sometimes the wait staff can be a bit lacking but there our some outstanding members of staff who make the whole meal memorable.
Very Disappointed! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I wanted to treat him to his favourite restaurant TGI Fridays, I say treat as we rarely go out for meals. Our booking was at 7.30pm we arrived at 7.28pm and was told very rudely we were too early and we would be seated in 2 minutes, a little odd that 2 minutes can make such difference especially as we could see loads of empty tables, but we waited as asked. 2 minutes passed and the seater seemed to completely ignore us, in fact he walked away at 7.33, at 7.40 a waitress came to the front and I asked her if our table was ready as we booked for 7.30, she unwillingly took us to a table that had been free the whole time! We then had to wait ages to be served, whilst the whole time the staff are going round to several tables in a group where a dining member also had a birthday which they were advertising (my boyfriend didn’t want to, he likes quiet), of course it’s nice to sing happy birthday. But the waiters decided to get everyone’s attention, by screaming the place down before chanting and clappy their birthday song, it must have been a day for birthdays as this happened 3 times whilst we were trying to have a relaxing meal out, I think there could have been a lot more respect for the other diners who were just trying to have a quiet meal. Finally we got served and 30 minutes later our food came, we both had burgers, the buns were burnt on both. My burger had been cut into several times, I understand the chef would cut into it to check its cook and I am more than happy for this to be down, but my burger was in pieces and just kept falling out the bun. Overall expensive birthday treat ruined by bad service, rude staff and food that clearly wasn’t cared for and just put out quickly. By far the worst TGI’s I have been to and I don’t think my boyfriend or myself will be returning to any soon if at all, after a meal out we were excited for soon turned sour.
I have been coming here for so many years for birthdays and other occasions. Making it a perfect choice for a celebration meal on thursday... what can i say... it was awful to the point i wont be back. No one to meet us. Too few staff.. food poor... cost for what we got..not worth it. Sorry to be so negative but is spoiled the evening for all 6 of us... so upset and unimpressed
Food in general was good my son had a fillet steak that was full of fat and very chewy I had a ribeye that was very tasteless everything else was nice just maybe avoid the steaks
Food was ok had to send our drink back because it was just like drinking iced water it had no flavour. Second one was better. Staff all lovely. But will try somewhere else next time
Very nice as always :)
Had reserved a table for my son's birthday which wasn't acknowledged until we had finished our meals. It was very busy so no one came and asked if everything was ok with the meal and my wife wanted another drink but you couldn't get anyone to ask. They did sing happy birthday to him and brought out a dessert which was appreciated.
Good service, although food wait bit long.
although the man seating us was lovely, our waitress wasnt really that bothered and had to keep perstering the man on the door on how to get a drink etc. are waitress would go to all the tables around us and turn around and walk the other way constantly. didnt get her name unfortunately she was never at pur table long enough.
When we sat down we waited 20 minutes or so to be served then the drinks took at further 25 minutes to get to our table (baring in mind it wasn’t overly busy) other than, the food was ok
The waiter we had was a new starter he was very attentive to our requests and needs, the other staff on the other hand were shocking and need training on team work and ethic, but in regards to the waiter he did a very good job on his second day and I would be happy if he out of all the other staff members working on that day were to serve my again
food tasty and served hot-good!. Friendly and trying staff abused by a poor management method.... understaffed and forced to appear inefficient and to bear the unpleasant brunt of unhappiness.... massive opportunity missed, no one to clear the tables, customers arriving and leaving a restaurant with empty tables! I felt sorry for the individual staff who struggled.... you won’t be viable much longer you’re squeezing for profit and watching quality drop....shame!.... don’t blame the servers.....
