- The food was amazing - Service was fantastic - Value for money was ok however £3.80 for a mocktail is a silly price - Atmosphere was great, just abit loud however there’s nothing staff can do about that they
Atmosphere okay - dampened due to loud table at the bar next to us. Food was bought out quickly but actual waitress had little to do with our table in comparison to previous visits.
Our waitress Samny was awesome couldn’t do enough for us went over and above with her job
Service was very slow although restaurant was empty, had to ask again for drink as they had taken so long, asked for a small cocktail but got a large, waitress said it was a mistake and I would only be charged for a small but paid for large was too embarrassed to say anything in front of my guests
I was served a raw starter of shrimp, I complained so waiters bought out another portion, and that also came out raw.
Very slow, never got a coffee that was ordered. Food was ok. Smaller portions than usual. Husband ordered special rib tickler. It didn't look anything like the picture, much smaller and less food. Complained about the size of his fries portion as it was tiny. They did bring him some more free of charge. Had to go up and pay at service station to get out as kids were falling alstroemerias. 2 1/2 hours for main and 3 puddings!
We were a party of ten for my daughters 13th birthday and we all had a great time. The food was very good as usual and the staff were very friendly and efficient making the whole experience most enjoyable. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.
Waitress serving us was really nice and helpful
Good food and atmosphere, same it took over 15 minutes to find us a table even though I'd booked!
Booked table for 10 for a double birthday in advance. Had to keep asking for service including to get drinks at the start after waiting for 10 mins with no one seeming interested in serving us. I think the guy serving was nice enough but was doing too much and staff looked overworked and rushed.
We booked a table as week before had to wait 45 mins. Although seated on time we waited some time before drinks or food order was taken.
Poor food, late, didn’t have a record of my booking (until I showed email). They even brought dessert without clearing the table. Shocking. I will not return.
I am on a diet and struggled to find something suitable -everything seemed deep fried or smothered in sauce. A plain chicken breast or turkey burger (on american menu) would have been great. I ordered a soda and lime but was given bitter lemon. When I queried it I was told that they had run out of lime cordial. Rather than ask me they just brought me bitter lemon (which was horrible!!). Noisy atmosphere (prob should expect this!!) but overall a pleasant evening but I won’t be rushing back
Food was good, restaurant was cold, strawberry daiquiri was vile, and the people that sang the birthday song well less enthusiastic than the other 2 times that they sang it that evening. Ruined my wife’s birthday. Please can I have I have my £10 tip back
The waitress was terrible. 1pm on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t busy and the girl kept disappearing. Asked for a glass of water, that never arrived, after 10 mins managed to find someone for the bill, another 10 minutes passed and we still hadn’t received the bill. It finally gets given to us by a different waitress who then disappears for another 10 mins. It’s not like they were rushed off their feet. By far the worst service I’ve ever had. The food was great though and I’m sure it doesn’t mean the other staff are terrible.
Delicious food hot and fresh tasting, cocktails were perfectly made and tasted how they should, we were in and out on an hour fast and friendly service
The food was awful duck salad seemed half measures chees burger dry and all minimal steak ribs and shrimp steak asked for rare came eel done forgot shrimps and sweet corn and they forgot one meal! Sesame chicken special so rubbish
Food and drinks were amazing, and the staff were so friendly! Definitely coming here again!
Service was very shocking. Felt like it was all very unorganised
we Were a party of 16 to celebrate my grandsons 10th Birthday. We arrived to be seated at 18:00 our starters finally came out about 19:25 after asking for them 2 were missing, children’s meals not what was ordered, coke tasted of chemicals, some drinks never arrived didn’t get to eat our main meals as you can appreciate the time lapse. And I would also ask the question why do you have a seating capacity for 450 people but you can’t cater for 16 as we were told when we originally booked for Monday 30th April you cannot have 2 parties at the same time on the same day. The overall experience was appalling.
I booked a party for 10 on Saturday 28th. We changed our choice of venue as we had all had great experience/food in TGI before. Well what a disappointment! We were seated around 7:45 and no one took our drinks order until 8:30. Which drink took till about 9ocloxk to arrive. Then finally a girl came to take food order and that didn’t come until about 9:30! The waitress finally serves the food which nearly dropped into my friends lap! We were also promised a birthday sing with balloons which was forgotten! We felt very unsatisfied with no value or good customer service. It was a very poor night for Tgi’s considering we spent a hoot £260 worth and the food wasn’t that great as I’ve rembered it. It was cooked very basically l, there was no chargrill on my sweet corn, the chips were soft and not crispy. We wasn’t offered plates for our starter of sharer Nachos so we were all lending over one bowl trying to scoop the salad on so it didn’t drop. It’s just felt very disgraceful!
Fun, friendly evening out
TGI's used to be the place to go. But then went down hill. Me and my partner have been back 3 times in 10yrs and each time have had an issue. Once had to wait 2hrs for cold burgers. Yesterday ordered a cocktail which they didn't have all the ingredients for nor did they have enough glasses so it was served in a pint glass. The starters came out at different times. But worse of all I found a plastic cap in my sizzling chicken wrap. Awful evening and will not be bothering to go back! It hasn't improved it has stayed bad. While we where there tables remained dirty with plates and cups and 3 other tables complained about food and service. Not what you want to hear or see when having dinner
It took a while to get are cutlery and are food took some time to come out but when we got it. It was nice you look understaffed and the lady that serviced seem grumpy but I enjoyed the food
