Server friendly and helpful. My food was to Spicey and she gladly changed it for me. Helpful and polite.
Love the food and love the atmosphere. Staff are very helpful.
I booked for my birthday meal with my work friends. The booking was easy enough and the staff helpful. Unfortunately when my meal came out with everyone else’s mine was cold. Initially I thought only the fries were cold after having that issue there before. My fries were replaced immediately but in the mean time I found out my ribs were also cold. The staff took my meal away and asked for it to be cooked again from new. They came and informed me that this would take 8 minutes by which time all my friends had finished their meals. The staff kept apologising and refilling our drinks. When my meal came out I wasn’t impressed at all. All the meat had fallen off the bone and there was not that much of it and I now had onion rings and not the sweet corn I wanted. I did not complain as I had already kept my friends waiting for their desserts. Unfortunately there was nothing on the dessert menu I could have due to intolerances as it was either chocolate or ice cream. However as I had mentioned it was my birthday the staff bought me a piece of birthday cake which I could eat. The manager took 25% off the bill for the inconvenience so I didn’t pay for a meal I really didn’t enjoy. I’m very disappointed as this Fridays is our usual for celebrations, work and family but now I am reluctant to go back in case it ruins another evening.
Very expensive for the level of service and food quality. Food came out at different times so very annoying when people are nearly finishing their food when some are just starting theirs. Says a lot when you walk out wishing you had gone to MacDonald’s instead.
Truely disappointed, extremely slow service, half hour after ordering we were told something was unavailable, ordered a beer at ordering food, for it only to arrive after eating, took 2 hours to have 1 course, had to then leave as had cinema booked, so my son missed out as it was for his birthday, so no special service for him or anything else, adults chicken fingers meal was just chicken and chips, nothing else, and cooked in dirty old oil, and steak meals came with salad! You mean a slab of unwashed lettuce that was dirty, found it very expensive for the service and meals that we got, will not be returning or recommending
Great service and friendly staff. Only negative is, on two course offer you have to have starter + main, it would be nice to have a choice of starter or dessert.
Ran out of drinks whilst eating main courses and couldn’t get the attention of our server
Excellent staff, very friendly. Great service and fantastic food!
Awful TGI experience! Kept us waiting for food with two young girls over an hour with out any warning. Restaurant was dirty and staff very in experienced. No real effort in cystomer service. No childrens pack for coloring and food was poor burnt potatoe skins and no passata tomato sauce on daughters penne. Overall very poor and not usual TGI standard! On our Hols too!! Disappointing to say the least! Lisa Ridge.
On our past few visits TGIs seem to have run out of a lot of menu items. We were on two occasions read out a list of what we couldn't order when we arrived. The service is friendly and the staff are great, but very slow on the drinks. We like to get a drink as soon as we arrive so we can peruse the menu, but this time we only got asked for a drinks order after about 10-15 minutes at the same time we ordered food.
I booked for a birthday of 11, the food took 1 1/2 hours to come out, steak was cold then waited another 15mins for a new one. No pizza bases, no party hats. The skewered food wasn’t skewered, could’nt understand the delay as restaurant wasn’t busy.
It was a lovely meal, but it’s just a shame that you don’t offer Military Discount!
Very nice duck fajitas!
the staff were lovely and the food was amazing
Air con was fantastic. Service was friendly and attentive. Chicken sesame strips overdone (brown rather than golden) and now has tomato in the salad. cheese and chilli chips were not hot. Rest of the food was up to normal standards though.
The place was freezing due to air con being on so high and we were sat right under a vent, the food was basically chucked on our table and for paying £15.99 for a burger, we basically had to rebuild it because it was all tipped over on the plate. The burger I had was massively over cooked and so so dry and the chicken strips were overdone. We went to cribs a couple weeks before and it was miles better. I don’t think we’ll visit Poole again.
Was way too cold in the restaurant
Not good quality of food cold
I understand it was a busy day but you should of expected that and plus when you know you have tables booked you know how many people are expected to come. So for a restaurant to run out of some food is very bad, especially cause We came at 5pm so not even late evening. We had one of the share platters and for £15 I'm sorry there was only 3 different items, defiantly not worth the money. Cocktails were good but that's about it. I don't think I will be coming back to tgi anytime soon unless there is a 50% off deal.
What a disaster ! We sat down and ordered our food (8 people) our started came out within half an hour which we couldn’t fault, however it was shocking, it looked as if it had been on the side all day and literally throw on the plate , we where also sat next to a larger party who had waited 3 hours for there mains to come out and there food was unedible , and they got a full refund, so we made the decision that based or the state of our starters we where not wasting 3 hours of our day and £200 of our money and got up and left, it is also Worth noting the manager didn’t care as it was his last shift. Real shame as usually have a great meal at the cribs causeway restaurant in bristol, however not sure we will be rushing there after this experience
Booked a table for 7 at 1.30. on arriving the host told us it would be a 10 minute wait so she could put 2 tables together. The bar area was already packed but empty tables everywhere. Waiter took a while to take orders but was okay, food came a bit cold but was edible. Was seated at 1.30, finished mains by 2.45 and didn't get desert order taken until 3.25 which was upon prompting. 4pm still no deserts, wrong drink bought over. Asked to speak to manager who took 50% off bill and told us the deserts were taking longer as they had to go and get ice-cream. Our waiter hadn't explained this. Manager said he told out waiter 8 hours ago.. why it take 8hours to get ice-cream I'll never know. Desert came. Another 15 minutes to get the bill which did have 50% off. Paid. Looked at bill, had been charged £10 for drinks we hadn't ordered which then needed refunding. Every single table was a mess, dirty plates and drinks etc there was honestly not one clean table to sit customers at it was a shocking show of management. Another big table had also complained at wait for food. All in all a poor service I won't return.
Amazing portion of food, amazing service (think her name was Lucy??) she was super friendly and bubbly and I had the best birthday meal thanks to her!:)
Had a lovely meal, was slightly more expensive than I thought but have to say the staff made us laugh with their birthday efforts for hubby 😂🤣. Air con was turned up too high for my liking and I was cold by the time we left. All in all it was a fun night.
Brilliant food and service
Love the birthday hats! And singing !!
