Background music too noisy
Service was quite slow and our bill was incorrect which I pointed out and even the amended version was also incorrect (I realised when we got home). Food was nice but nothing spectacular. My tortillas were stale on the starter and the sweetcorn on my main was horrible but everything else was nice.
Took 15 mins from being sat down to even order a drink wasn’t even that busy
The waitress we had was really good give me a drink soon as my glass was empty really polite always smiling make me feel welcome
Overall we had a great night . We were there for a family birthday . The staff asked who and their name which was nice . Only 2 disappointments for us were no draught beer as they said it had run out and my steak was cooked wrong to start with but once notified they did remedy this very quickly and was very nice , so overall pleased with visit .
Waitress was brilliant and did all she could for my sons birthday - thank you!
Excellent food, excellent service
Had a great night out
I really like TGI Fridays. However, it's frustrating sometimes when the waitress asks you if you want any sauces like Ketchup or Mayonnaise and you say yes please. But then the waitress never comes back! So I feel like saying don't ask us what we want if you're not going to complete the action!
Best meal I've had for a long time, and great service received.
Too loud, menu deals are rigid so can’t choose from all 3 only 1, too pricey and food tasted very fatty. Also, dessert choices were poor, not enough vegan choices on menu and the coffee and tea machine was broken!
Me and my girlfriend always travel from Weymouth as TGI's is our favorite place to have a meal. The TGI's in Poole is made especially good due to the brilliant staff. I would highly recommend to everyone!
Good food although slightly loud we enjoyed it
Sisters birthday and the staff did well to help us celebrate with balloon hat and a song. They also brought out the birthday cake we took with us. Only let down was how slow the service was. We were waiting a long time for drinks and between each course. The restaurant wasn't even that busy.
Very slow service. Didn't clear away drinks when new ones were ordered. Steak very chewy even when rare and medium rare, no lime for children to have lime drinks. Generally disappointing meal for over £200.
Our waitress Kat was amazing. She was attentive and engaging. She really cared about our experience and went above and beyond.
Husband does not like garlic and specifically asked for plain chips, came with garlic salt!! Rest of the meal lovely
The Team in FGI's are very helpfully, We had a great night there with of our family. Thank you TGI
Slow service and you could argue we were ignored by staff. Had to ask to order, food took ages to arrive and then had to ask for the bill....disappointing experience.
Service from our lovely waitress was incredible and the food was delicious myself and my grandma had such a lovely meal!
Really friendly place although a little loud that it was has hard to speak across the table.
Stood at the door for a while whilst members of staffed walked past but didnt address the fact we were waiting. Eventually got seated in the window which was unbearable as the sun was shining in, way to hot and squinting across the table. I asked to move and this didnt seem to be a problem. Ordered a Budweiser and it was definitely not a normal bud, it tasted watered down and weak. Do Budweiser allow you to do whatever you do to their beer? Ordered 2 adults meal and 3 children's meals. For some reason one of the kids meals was made and waiting a long while before the rest. The server asked us if we wanted it and we just said yes as we had already been waiting a while. When the rest of the food came out the chips were cold and soggy and the burger tasted like it had been sat on the side for a while. Kids meals seemed ok. Really disappointing as usually we love the food at TGIs. Did go for a pudding as we felt underwhelmed and that in fact was pretty good! I think we went through 3 different servers in our time there, each were pleasant but seemed rushed off their feet with no real structure or organisation. It felt like perhaps the restaurant was understaffed although when another table had a birthday celebration all these staff members seemed to appear and then slipped back off to no where. Before we left the queue was well out the door (I have pictures because I was so shocked) and once again no one was available to greet or seat them and just kept walking past not even acknowledging that they were there. If you're busy that's fine, its expected at peak times however atleast manage your guests expectations. I really wanted to complain about the bad beer and cold food however I couldn't even catch a server nor did I want to put that on them when they were evidently under too much pressure. I rarely complain but I feel so let down by this experience and feel reluctant to come back. In all honesty my partner gave a tip and I was fuming but he did point out the tip was for the staff who clearly would have appreciated it in these circumstances and not a reflection of the quality of food.
