Our waitress Kat was amazing. She was attentive and engaging. She really cared about our experience and went above and beyond.
Husband does not like garlic and specifically asked for plain chips, came with garlic salt!! Rest of the meal lovely
The Team in FGI's are very helpfully, We had a great night there with of our family. Thank you TGI
Slow service and you could argue we were ignored by staff. Had to ask to order, food took ages to arrive and then had to ask for the bill....disappointing experience.
Service from our lovely waitress was incredible and the food was delicious myself and my grandma had such a lovely meal!
Really friendly place although a little loud that it was has hard to speak across the table.
Stood at the door for a while whilst members of staffed walked past but didnt address the fact we were waiting. Eventually got seated in the window which was unbearable as the sun was shining in, way to hot and squinting across the table. I asked to move and this didnt seem to be a problem. Ordered a Budweiser and it was definitely not a normal bud, it tasted watered down and weak. Do Budweiser allow you to do whatever you do to their beer? Ordered 2 adults meal and 3 children's meals. For some reason one of the kids meals was made and waiting a long while before the rest. The server asked us if we wanted it and we just said yes as we had already been waiting a while. When the rest of the food came out the chips were cold and soggy and the burger tasted like it had been sat on the side for a while. Kids meals seemed ok. Really disappointing as usually we love the food at TGIs. Did go for a pudding as we felt underwhelmed and that in fact was pretty good! I think we went through 3 different servers in our time there, each were pleasant but seemed rushed off their feet with no real structure or organisation. It felt like perhaps the restaurant was understaffed although when another table had a birthday celebration all these staff members seemed to appear and then slipped back off to no where. Before we left the queue was well out the door (I have pictures because I was so shocked) and once again no one was available to greet or seat them and just kept walking past not even acknowledging that they were there. If you're busy that's fine, its expected at peak times however atleast manage your guests expectations. I really wanted to complain about the bad beer and cold food however I couldn't even catch a server nor did I want to put that on them when they were evidently under too much pressure. I rarely complain but I feel so let down by this experience and feel reluctant to come back. In all honesty my partner gave a tip and I was fuming but he did point out the tip was for the staff who clearly would have appreciated it in these circumstances and not a reflection of the quality of food.
Ben was very friendly and helpful
We were made to wait 1 hour for a table when we were given a table it just happened to be 1 of 6 tables that was available since we walked in. This made us miss for the Bournemouth air festival fireworks which we travelled over 170 miles for. We also explained to the waiter it was our child’s birthday which they did nothing for. Worst experience ever at TGI’s and feel like boycotting all TGI’s in future !
Arrived at 7.15pm and received main course at 8.50pm. Very slow and when the food did arrive it was cold. Steak was tough as old boots. Order was incomplete. Very expensive. Won't go back again anytime soon. Disappointed.
Great food, great service and staff were very friendly. Booked a table as was in area on a mini break. Will return if in area again.
It was my daughter’s 5th birthday and last year she had a fabulous dinner at TGI’s. This year we waited ages just to have drinks and then our order taken by which time we had two very tired little girls. No mention was made of her birthday and she did not feel special - we gave up and took our cake home to sing happy birthday to her! Such a shame - 5th birthdays only happen once.
We love this place we have never had a bad experiences the food is always spot on and the staff are always very nice
Not enough staff, the staff they did have worked hard though. We came away feeling sorry for our waitress as she was running around like a headless chicken. Disappointed.
Our waiter i think was called Ben he was lovely and was the only reason we did not complain. Manager had to take our order as intolerance menu required the main thing that was said was no onion or garlic and did not want the applslaw as also apple is a trigger for my sister. Food comes with applslaw and the burger was full with raw onion and burger sauce. And because my sister needed unseasoned fries we all got unseasoned fries. The food generally is good but why go to the trouble of having an intolerance menu have a manager take the order and note all triggers for 10 minutes just to ignore it???
Staff were brilliant and the whole place had a great atmosphere. Food was ok for the price, but not that tasty or hot. Drinks were really good with a great selection to choose from. All in all enjoyed the experience and would come back again to give it another chance.
Great service and great balloon animals!
Main course steaks salads x 2 never arrived with meal, sticky chicken main course had no chilli flakes or sesame seeds on it. It was a Sunday night so not overly busy, shame as staff were very nice.
Our visit there was very enjoyable, server very pleasant and wait for food seemed an adequate length of time, despite getting apology from server for the wait.
Music far to loud, waiter came as soon as we sat down and didn’t give us chance to look at menu then pestered us every 2 mins. Asked for bill after drinks came.
The food was lovely, the service hit and miss ! But the music was way too loud ! My daughter suffers from panic attacks and this was stressful for her to say the least! No way would an autistic customer be able to cope here. Maybe this needs to be addressed. in the meantime unfortunately we won't be back with those noise levels?
Very good service as I have a gluten intolerance they checked up on me constantly and let me know How everything is cooked and where and made separate labels for it
Fantastic food, amazing service and attention to allergens really made me feel confident that I would get a meal that wouldn't make me ill. Only minor criticism would be how loud the music was, our waitress had to sit down at the table to hear what we were ordering! Fantastic evening though and our order came out spot on! Delicious😍
