Leave room for freshly prepared desserts like the brownie obsession, chocolate fudge fixation and the cookie dough sundae.
I wanted to use a voucher but for some reason there was a problem. Not very happy as the value for money is not very affordable.
The general service of everything was so slow, this was not the fault of the waiter, it just seemed as though there wasn’t enough staff. Our cocktails took 20 minutes to come each time we ordered them and they were not worth the 20 minute wait. The food was absolutely awful, luke warm and hardly any of it, £10 for a bowl of crap nachos between us. We had to send the chilli beef fries back because we’d basically received a bowl of chips with a tablespoon of chilli on top, asked for more chilli for the fries which they took away and came back 10 minutes later with a brand new bowl of the exact same portion! we spent over £100 in this restaurant and was left so disappointed with both the service and food.
Whilst it was a lovely meal we receieved our food a different times from each other, had no cutlery and the drinks took aaaaaages!!!
Absolute terrible service, will probably never return due to our experience. We had a table booked for 415 as needed to be in the jingle bell ball for 630. Our table wasn’t ready on arrival they finialy sat us down at 5pm they knew we was going to capital fms ball and said they would prioritise, was a very slow process meals came out slow. We had no cutlery for our starters so used our hands to eat As there was no one around. Mains came out and again had no cutlery n had to wait to eat. And puddings I tryed to order with the man directly behind me and he hold me he wasn’t surving my table was just really rude. We missed the first two acts so we really wasn’t happy.
Have loved T.G.I. Friday’s since I was a child and have always been a regular visitor! However, on the last few visits to the branch at the o2 I have been hugely disappointed! Food always tastes amazing but service is ridiculously slow! Booked a table for 7:30, arrived at 7:35 and table wasn’t ready, eventually sat down and ordered drinks, fine. Ordered starters and it went downhill from there. Waited almost an hour for starters, then another 45 mins or so for dinner. Was put in a corner and was forgotten about. Was rarely checked on to see if food was ok, if we needed drinks topped up, starters were served all at the same time (amazing!) then waited a further 5-10 mins for plates and cutlery to eat the starters... by this time we had a new waiter, again no checking for refreshments etc. Finished starters and was left with the dirty plates until our mains were served, only half of the mains were served and half of the starters plates taken away, waited another 15 mins or so for the rest of the main meals to arrive, by this time half of our party are nearly finished and the rest hadn’t even started! Finally took the rest of the starters away. Again was left waiting for cutlery to eat. By now we had asked to speak to the manager and was then given a third waitress. Ten minutes later the second waiter comes back with cutlery after the waitress had already taken care of it. Desserts were also very slow to come out. The waitress did her best and at least made sure we had everything we needed and the Manager did give a discount and 2 free drinks which was appreciated however, All in all a very disappointing evening. A spoilt birthday dinner. Will never return to TGI Fridays at the o2 again!
We had to wait a very long time to place our order, then again for our drinks (the table next to us who ordered some time after us got their drinks before we did). There was a further wait for the food, which was disappointing - limp chips and battered chicken, nothing special. And finally we had an even longer wait for the bill. I would say we spent around 10 mins actually eating and the rest of the hour was spent waiting. We didn't order starters or desserts and just had a main. When we finally got our food we had a further wait for cutlery. I would not go back again. As a side note, it is most impossible to eat healthy there.
Nice meal but think prices are a bit on the expensive side
The only thing I would had is that when a big event is on at the O2 then there should be extra staff, had to wait for food and bottomless drinks to be refilled.
Waiter was ok but food took ages staff from Kitchen awful I never got part of order Food was cold and dry and didn't all come up at the same time Worse Tgi’s we have visited
We had to wait over a hour for our main meal, I understood that a chef did not come into work, but also was waiting for drinks and a spoon for over mins as well. I can understand waiting for the drink but 30mins for a spoon is a little bit to much. I would still go back to a TGI as the food was good.
Very slow service, dinners arrived at different times and was hard to track down our waitress. Have also had speedy service on previous visits but was extremely slow this time.
Bad experience never to be repeated
Although this is a busy restaurant the service was extremely slow, we had to ask for our order to be taken, waited an age for our food then one meal didn’t come until 5 minutes after the rest, after we had to keep asking where it was. It took 15 minutes for someone to get our bill and let’s us pay! After we had to ask. We missed the beginning of the show because of the delays, we had allowed an hour and a half which we thought should have been plenty in a restaurant used to diners all going to the same event! Staff were mostly pleasant.
Very good experience staff were very friendly and the festive menu was delicious
Celebrating our sons 16th birthday at TGIF O2 was the best experience he could have wished for. The happy birthday song and slice of cake was not expected at all...Top marks to everyone involved yesterday, made his day 👌🏻😃
Booking made turned up to be told have no gas so no hot food but cold food available and the bars open so no thanks and found somewhere else to eat that night .so not good really .Would have nice to have been informed prior to turning up . Just to say I use the 02 quite regularly for gigs and things and I usually eat here .
No food available !!!
Was rang only 1 hour before our Christmas staff meal booking to say that they had had a problem ALL DAY and the booking may be cancelled. Luckily they were back up and running when we arrived. The Christmas menu booking had no Christmas theme on the table, it was just like walking in for a meal in June. The service was extremely slow and the table was never cleared whilst we were there apart from taking the plates before the next course came out, but they still left all the empty glasses and bottles, which we eventually cleared ourselves to make room. The pre order drink package was not on the table when we arrived as promised and we had to chase it up. We were told that our 7.30pm booking would have to be vacated by 9.30 but we arrived at 7.15pm as requested and only received our starter at 8.30pm. When we received the bill it was incorrect by nearly £50 overcharge. The staff were not unpleasant, its just the service was incredibly poor!
Arrived early in the hope of being seated early. Was informed that there was a kitchen gas problem that meant the kitchens were closed without a potential reopening time. we could not wait as we had show tickets. Not the fault of TGI. Just a little disappointed.
We had booked a table at TGI's and when we arrived at the restaurant we were told the kitchen was closed ad they had no gas. So disappointed as we could not eat there and had to find somewhere else.
arrived early for our reserved table and was told the gas was out and there was no food available, lucky for us frankie and bennys had a table availalbe. VERY dissapointed :(
Knowing we had booked a table for 6pm we still had to wait in a line for 20+ minutes ....even though there were empty tables. finally got to a table to be told there was a 30minute wait to order food. There always seems to be issues at TGIF ... that was definitely my last visit!!!
We had made a reservation months ago and turned up for an enjoyable evening with family to be told there was no food being served. No one bothered to contact us to allow us to reserve elsewhere. We also had vouchers to use towards the meal which expire in a couple of months time, which will probably now expire before use. Not a great start to our evening out, went to Nando’s instead. 😡
I understand that you had an issue with the Gas and A/C on the 6th December but having a reservation and not being told about this and missing dinner as all other restaurants were full and having to wait at least 45 minutes was a total let down. I won’t be dining there again.
It would be better if the waitress served us within a reasonable time, had to be served by the greeter. Had to ask for refills and had to wait for sauces, getting half way through the meal by the time it arrived.
