always come here for family occasions. waitresses always offer brilliant service however on last night's experience found we had to go looking for service on a few occasions but other than that food great and well enjoyed as usual and happy helpful staff
We waited over and hour for our food but as it was a busy Saturday night, we felt no need to complain. However, someone, who I assume to be the manager, came over once we had finished our meals and apologised for the wait. She took the drinks off our bill as a kind gesture. What lovely service! Will be returning.
Staff very accommodating after an issue with our booking arose the manager very helpful and accommodating
I know it was friday early evening but the service we received was poor. We got there around 16.50 and waited 10 minutes to give a drinks order then another 20 minutes to get our drinks and give food order. Peop!e on other tables wers walking in after us and getting served with drinks within minutes. Our server seemed pre occupied and other servers were noticing that we were still waiting. It wasnt even that busy until we were ready to leave. Someone else even got our bill for us because our girl had vanished again and she was experienced looking at the numbrr of badges she had!! When she returned and saw we had got our bill already she just picked up the payment, shrugged her shoulder and walked off! Ive had betger service in there when its been rammed so this was very poor!
Service Great , music too loud , food was good.
Our waitress was lovely!
The only reason I’ve given atmosphere a 4 is because , I like loud music but that night it was just too loud you had the almost shout over the table , other that that is was lovely the food was amazing and the waitress was fab
We had a lovely evening the food was great
Great atmosphere for a family dinner out
Great service with professional friendly staff. Can’t fault the place!
Very good service and food was great. ‘Sharing’ boneless wings appetiser was more like a portion for one though, especially considering the price. All in all a great place!
This was my first time at a TGI Fridays and I’d made the booking the day before for 8 people as it was my sons 15th birthday, so far so good. Then the trouble started. We arrived before my 7pm seating time to be told that unfortunately the table hadn’t been cleared and could we wait. We have tried to get a drink at the bar but there seemed to be only what looked like three staff and we stood for nearly 20 minutes until served It wasn’t for another 30 mins until we were seated and by now my youngest son was getting tired and slightly hungry. After ordering our food it arrrived at 8.10 giving us 30 minutes to eat as your email stated that we had to finished by 8.40. Also you stated that if we didn’t make the stated booking you would charge us £5 per person. Does that work the other way round. All in all the food was nice. The service shocking. I know you will do nothing about it as big companies never do. All you will do is say “ I’m sorry but we were short staffed” or something along those lines. This feedback is for others. Just be careful it looked as if it was more about the money to them than looking after the customers.
We ordered garlic bread which never arrived, and we never saw a single member of the waiting staff after our mains arrived until 10+ minutes after we'd finished. So there was nobody to remind about the garlic bread until after we'd finished. Good was great as usual but the service was well below the standard we'd expect. Nobody came to check that things were alright after the food was brought out, or to offer more drinks. People came to clean adjacent tables but mysteriouly didn't notice our attempts to get their attention.
Starter portion of jd strips were bigger than main portion. 7 peices of chicken for a mains portion is not acceptable, sent it back and brought out a starter portion which has 10 peices. Effectively paying £6 more for chips.
What a joke of a place. Never in my life have I had such poor service and absolute horrendous food you should be ashamed with the mound of grease you eventually dumped in front of me. It was that bad the bottom bun on my burger had desolved that's one of the orders you forgot then still got wrong because what was shouted out when it eventually appears wasn't correct but it had been chucked in the fryer any way so didn't matter what it was tasteless and disgusting. Twice we had to chase peoples orders just to get stinking attitude back you know because it's entertaining watching everyone else eat while you wait for your non existent food no. This was a party of 15 and for the amount of money we spent we'd of got more flavour and less grease at macdonalds. Would of left a tip but the attitude my 60 year old mum got after making a complaint to the waitress not deserved you can keep your crappy food and your crappy service.
Fantastic food, service & atmosphere! Thank you! X
Booked the wrong day but the manager sorted this out and was seated. Straight. Had a gluten free menu and the manager sat down and explained how they cook gluten free food. This is the first time I have seen this happen. Really impressed by that. Was told it was the best gluten free burger they have had.
Had a great birthday meal with 20 of us, however a hour wait for food was quite long
Very accommodating when the traffic made us late and we were there for a pre-theatre tea, thanks peeps :)
Service was slow, all the servers were rushing around and inattentive, couldn't hide what seemed like their dissatisfaction to having to be at work. A starter was forgotten and instead of just saying this, were lied to and told it takes longer as its a big order:- it was a platter containing the exact same food everyone else had ordered, so we had to wait another 20 minutes for this, then the mains came out immediately after. My friends bought me a happy birthday candle to go on my cake, which must have been used by someone else or kept as it was given to staff but not put on the cake, they didn't even acknowledge that the candle was missing, we had to ask them about the candle If we hadn't of asked they wouldn't have even raised the issue with us which I thought was sneaky! Pretty disgraceful to be honest, will never be going there again.
On your rewards scheme you need to make clear which are starters and which are mains to avoid confusion
Great staff, quickly moved to another table due to draughty position.
