Got there at 3.45 as advised. Booked for 4pm but got seated at 4.30. Was explained to me that ‘walk in’ customers were taking longer and impacted on our table. Not happy as booked a few weeks before and this should have been managed. As a result , and after waiting for the food for nearly 30min, we had to rush our food to get our bus that only runs on the hour. The food was nice but poor time management by TGI made the experience not as good as it should have been
Had an awful experience, booked for my daughters 5th bday, arrived at 3 ordered drinks, took 20mins to arrive, ordered starters took 30mins, was spat at by a child from another table, mains came 45mins later cold server was nowhere to be seen. Awful in all meanings of the word
After visiting yesterday I can honestly say that this was the worse experience I’ve ever had whilst dining out. After being showed to a tiny table that basically Just about managed to squeeze 7 people onto l, I found a team member and organised for us to be moved to a more spacious table. We were seated at 230 by 315 we had yet to have had our drinks order being taken, I tried to get the attention of a staff member which to no avail, so I physically got up to go to the bar area to speak to the bar staff who then spoke to the manager who at last took our drinks order, however our starters came out before we had our drinks served. The food didn’t reflect any previous visits to TGIs and at times was cold, and not presented to a decent standard, after eating we were then left with our mains dishes at the table for another 30mins before anyone came to clean them away, also one of the deserts which was a fruit salad came with the most of the fruit still frozen. After having a few complaints with this experience my family and I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Nobody took the time to ask how our meal was, I felt that the manager although was friendly was not attentive enough having being told of our issue. Overall what was suppose to be a happy pre Christmas family meal resulted in us leaving highly dissatisfied and disappointed with the service provided and I will not be returning to Nottingham TGI.
Excellent service and support booking. I could not speak highly enough of staff on the day, making the occasion special for us all. Thank you so much to all staff who helped
We booked the table in weeks advance, turned up on time, had to wait over 30 minutes for our table. There was no Christmas decorations despite booking it as a Christmas party. but other tables had the crackers and decorations. We pre-ordered the drinks and food, and had to ask twice for our drinks. The medium steak came out medium rare. Only 4 out of 6 desserts came out. The only good things about it is the manager came out with the drinks list to speak to us about the drinks package, which was good service for him to do it personally. And the Rack of Ribs was good.
Very busy would be nice to have a better waiting area or more room at the bar to sit but love TGI’s
Service a little slow but very forgivable as it’s Xmas and was unbelievably busy. Im coeliac and every effort was made to look after me, hospital recommended you guys for the effort you make with dietary requirements. Natalie came over to discuss. Can’t remember waitress name but she was equally lovely (hence tip!) thanks TGI, a great experience!
disappointing food quality and service
Excellent service. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Very very busy but we didn’t wait long Good food
Terrible food that took over an hour to come.

Good family friendly place to go
Restaurant was so hot and stuffy
Fantastic visit for my son’s 9th Birthday! Made us feel very welcome and kept the children very entertained 😊
Lovely meal, had the three course Xmas menu xx
Very happy with the service even gave us 10% off as they thought we had waited to long
The food was fabulous and the service was wonderful. The hostess was very pleasant and was so helpful during our meal
What would make going to TGIF better would if you could buy a bottle of the JD's Glaze to take home... everything else is great keep it up.
We had a great meal for my daughter's birthday. Absolutely fantastic service - the team were amazing; nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.
The worst meal I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Terrible value for money. Tiny portion, over cooked, very expensive
Really great food and even though it was really busy not a long waiting time
Brilliant night thank you all so much😊
We booked a table for 2pm expecting to be seated straight away. We had to wait 20 minutes whilst other people went before us even though there were empty tables all around the restaurant.
