Reason for low scores are; table not ready when arrived and late sitting down for meal, meal had missing ingredients as they had run out, service was slow waited for main course but just about bearable
The service we received was shocking we sat for over 15 mins b4 we ordered a drink the manager was sorry but still had to wait another ten b4 the drink was on the table. All 3 of my children had milkshakes and all 3 suffered from severe diaharrah, making them all need a day off school yesterday. I wouldn’t recommend at this point
We asked for a different table when we first got there as the one they reserved for us was quite cramped ,they swapped our table with no problems, service was good Sunny had a lovely smile every time he approached us. food was lovely and drinks kept coming. lovely day out for Fathers day. just a shame there wasn't anything special done for the day!
Really disappointed on this visit, the three members of staff that were at the door to greet acted like we were interrupting them, were loath to show us to a table and it was all a bit of an effort for them. Waiting 40 mins for our main courses which we could have understood if it was packed but I've had better service when its been busier to be honest. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here and the food was lovely, I have however been put off by your staffs attitude and will probably try one of your competitors next time.
Sunny our waiter was brilliant so friendly! Nice to have a happy person serve us with no mthing being to much trouble
Overall really lovely, music a little loud for me (only because I had a headache). Meal overall was delicious but the chips were slightly cold, which I'm sure was a one off!
Great service, very attentive without being too much in your face. Lovely food and served in a timely way!
Great service, just seemed to be a lot of uncleared tables around considering it wasn't overly busy.
The service was shocking it took 50 minutes to get our starters although that was explained away as burnt garlic bread that was sent back. We had to wait another 40 minutes for our mains. We arrived at TGI's at 7.20 table booked for 7.30 for 3 people and were seated straight away. WE didn't leave TIG's until 9.15 and, we didn't even have any deserts. A small consolation was that 10% discount was given on the bill, but I was very disappointed
Only a few niggles: 1. There was no cutlery when we sat down. When our food arrived we had to ask for some. 2. Our soft drinks where 70% ice and within about 4 sips the drink was gone. Apart from this the food and overall visit was great.
Very slow service
We’ve been lots of times as a family & really enjoy it. However, the service on this occasion was appalling, staff seemed disinterested & one was positively surly! We had no idea who our waitress was & waited 30 minutes to have our starter plates collected with the last one taken when the main came out! We had a voucher for free dessert but after nearly two hours we gave up & asked for the bill. It was the worst dining experience we have had, no one came to check if all was ok or if we needed anything! It wasn’t just us all the tables around us waited nearly an hour for food and we’re all complaining too!
Service was quite slow. Food mediocre and not a very good vegetarian choice. Vegetarian burger was sub par, halloumi or avocado choice would be much better. Disappointing that mayonnaise was brought out in plastic tubs that I was told would be binned and not reused. Unacceptable for a chain as big as yours.
Waited 25 minutes to be asked about a drink order. Waited another 15 minutes for a drink to arrive. Ordered food, bad quality chicken. Tables not cleared for 20 minutes after we have eaten. Requested refund. Will not visit TGIs again.
The little booth we say it near the bar the table was far too small
Our server was fantastic and very attentive, she informed us about the TGI Fridays app and helped us to understand how to use it to claim a free appetizer.
Food took far too long to arrive due to server putting order through wrong - compensated with some money off bill
Our waitress Christine was AMAZING. We wanted to applaud her patience, her professionalism and her skills handling a busy bunch of three under 5 year olds! Christine went above and beyond, calming our very vocal kids and making balloon animals to take home. Both our waiter guiding us to our table and taking drinks orders and Christine our dedicated waitress were charismatic and cool! Well done Sixfields team!!
Had a birthday voucher we were 3/4 of the way through our main before we got our cocktails as it took that long for the barman to tell the waiter which we were allowed . Had to ask for cutlery .... terrible service .
Been many times before however, what made it even better was amazing food, slick service and an amazing waitress! Fantastic time out!
Most of the food was cold. Waited 15 minutes before being offered a drink. 2 of the orders were sent back as they were wrong.
We arrived for our booking at 16:30 and the place was packed, most probably everyone there was doing the same as and then going on to the Lionel Richie concert. The young man seating people was not checking bookings and certainly was not seating people in order. We finally got sat about 20 mins after our booking, we than waited a further 30 mins for our food, no one said anything about a delay. The food was great and the team were friendly even under a lot of pressure. I don’t believe the site was ready for what was going on that day. We did manage to get fed and too the concert on time although it was a bit of a rush.
The restaurant was packed due to a local event. The staff were amazing we were seated and served in good time and meal was lovely. Well done everyone you were rushed off your feet but we still felt like the only customers. Excellent service
Food was hot. Service was swift. Were expecting us from reservation.
Food awful 20 quid steak a lump of gristle Children’s food came out 20 mins after ours Given a discount because of how rubbish the 100 quid meal was
