Waited almost 45 mins for food, waiter apologised but service could have been more ch better. Ordered one burger without fries and still came needed to ask for salad and needed to be reminded them also ordered fries with chilli topping once again waited whilst other meals came. Not very good and probably wouldn’t return.
Cutlery was dirty
first time, great experience, enjoyed food......only grouch was felt we were on a conveyer belt service
Food was great, service was appalling (speaking as a waiter myself). Table was not set, drinks and starters were delivered, still no cutlery. Ate with our hands. Cutlery was set out with mains. Asked a server for some BBQ sauce... 10 minutes later, after she'd walked past and ignored us a few times, asked a different server and got some. Nobody checked on us during the meal. At the end, as I was nearly finished, she came back asked if we were done, replied no, but she stared clearing up around me. Presumably she misheard because of the music. She was taken aback and apologetic when she realised I wasn't finished. Finished up, she came back and asked if we wanted deserts or the bill. Felt like we were being pushed out. Put cash down, server took it... Then came back and asked if we wanted change from it. Poor tip etiquette. Not at all up to TGI's usual standards at other locations I have been to.
Was extremely busy in this restaurant so can’t blame staff for everything taking a long time and the manger did keep checking on us and made balloons animals for the kids. Definitely need extra staff especially when there’s an event happening outside!
Used to visit TGI often but stopped as the past few times I visited I left dissatisfied. I went on Sunday as my son wanted to. And yet again service was a massive let down and food was served warm/cold. When placing my order I asked for a side of BBQ sauce. Food arrived, no sauce. No problem, mistakes happen. Asked for BBQ sauce. Waited. Nothing. Asked again. Waited nothing. Asked a 3rd time. Waited and finally got BBQ sauce once my meal was basically finished. Dessert was supposed to be served warm, was cold, like it had come straight from the fridge to the table. Needless to say I yet again left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied. Won't be returning to this branch or any other branch of TGIs.
Booked a table for 5.30 had to wait a little while to be seated. Waitress serving was very attentive and pleasant. Couldn't fault the food.
Had a lovely time the food is lovely
Service was awful, waited ages for the table to he cleared, then ages for drinks and ages to take order.
Our waitress was fab, made our son's birthday really special
Great waiter, good service but food a bit average. Once we had eaten staff couldn't wait to reclaim the table.
This used to be my favourite place to visit on an occasion as my sister and I used to love the jd ribs. We came for her 30th birthday on this occasion and the service was terrible the food wasn't great and all round it was a disappointment. We both agreed our ribs days are done and will not be returning again
The service started well, then gradually got worse and worse. We had two coeliacs and I saw the manager ‘roll her eyes’ when I I ask a waitress to ask her which chips were the gluten free ones and we had two different ones in front of us. She was very rude and we waited over an hour for our food which was cold when it came out. We sent a few things back which meant no one was eating at the same time. The organisation and timing of the meal was awful and I don’t understand how TGI is somewhere supposedly good for dealing with larger parties when clearly this branch weren’t.
Service appalling. Staff seemed bored and uninterested. Asked three times for napkins. Having checked the bill it was not ours had to wait longer to get ours which was considerably cheaper. Good job we weren't in a rush.
The Waitress in particular was outstanding, could not do enough for our table of 9. A definate 11/10
Good night out
as per my app review service for some reason this time was very very poor. however the local manager did handle this head on
Service from Jess was excellent - as was the food
Always have a great meal and brilliant service from Georgia.
Service was brilliant :)
I had booked online and the time of the booking was incorrect when I arrived, food was lovely although my friend said her burger was overcooked and dry.
I would not recommend you at all! Poor shoddy reception service. Food was cold and not enough bar staff. All in all terrible! Hence NO stars if your survey would allow
Great night had here, enjoyed by all. Thank you for the little song :)
Fantastic service, food lovely, relaxed atmosphere and everything just perfect before our visit to the theatre
My food was absolutely gorgeous right up until I found a bug on my salad leaf. The staff were absolutely amazing though and very apologetic but it did put me off eating frag salad there again. I was reimbursed my meal and they all sang happy birthday to my hubby so it ended well. I would eat there again but I will never eat the salad wedge again as I did feel a bit queasy after finishing the little critter in there. We’ve eaten there before and it’s been amazing which is a shame. The staff were very friendly and very keen to please xx
