Our waiter was brilliant, very happy with him. Food was average, one meal of salmon was awful with raw sweet potato fries, but it was taken off the bill. It was a 13th birthday meal so was expecting balloons etc but nothing... other tables had them for parties. We wanted the staff to sing happy birthday to my daughter (the whole point of using TGi’s) but we’re told the staff were going home so they couldn’t do it. Very disappointing considering the staff were more bothered about the other large rowdy party, spending all their time with them dancing and screaming. We won’t be using this restaurant again for a celebration. It wasn’t the evening we expected.
Harry, our waiter. was very professional and dealt well with a alrge party, Food service was slow though and we ended up being an hour late for the party afterwards
Food and atmosphere were amazing. Service wasn’t as fast as usual.
Lauren is a very friendly and professional host and our waitress Jess was extremely good and attentive. Warrior burger was extremely tasty and my daughter had a very good birthday, she loves the nachos. Thank you for a great meal and good service. The birthday balloon hat was also very much appreciated.
Really attentive and helpful staff
Here for daughters birthday. Everyone left happy
New staff, in training and visibly struggling... confused, extremely slow and overwhelmed. 3 out of 4 smoothies not available. My 5-year-old’s drink served last, bringing on multiple fits in am already hungry and thirsty child. When I asked for this to be brought as priority as kid is literally crying at the table, got no reaction. Food served late. Husband had to go without as he had to leave, although we had asked for his portion to come early. Train people before bringing them to floor! Feel sorry for the new guys. They really need more training before being faced with weekenders. Also assign mentors to correct things they don’t realise are wrong.
Very disappointed with the service!!! The only reason I put 2 stars down for service was thanks to ONE lovely lady. She wasn't our waitress but she stepped in as we complained in the beginning after waiting so long just for a drinks order (my partner had to go and say something after 20 mins) it ruined the atmosphere and considering I was out for my birthday, we decided to skip the whole birthday singing thing and go elsewhere for pudding. Not sure that I'll be dining here again. I usually book at the stadium one buy they were full. I think the thing that got my back up the most was the young girl who greeted me when booking in. She was very quick to tell me that even though my full party hadn't arrived, my 2 hour time slot started from 7pm!!! To then be taken to a 'ready' table where there was no napkins and cutlery laid out, I wouldn't really call that ready!!! To then wait 20 mins for a drinks order after saying something, we were actually wondering how we can be told about the 2 hour limit with such slow service. Considering we only had starters and a main, we were there for 1hr 45 mins. As mentioned above, we went elsewhere for pudding for 2 reasons... the slow service...and being close to our time limit!!! Just to add it was definitely NOT busy!! The whole section behind us was closed and lots of other tables were empty. Food was lovely when it eventually got to us. I'm gutted I can't remember the lovely lady's name. I do however know she's not long back from maternity leave. If she wasn't there, I really do think we would of got up and left!!! Would not recommend this TGI Friday to others
Booked a table for 13:45. Arrived at the restaurant at 13:35. Didn't get seated until 14:05! Service very slow! Didn't leave until 16:45!
The service was very poor, stood at the bar for 20 minutes waiting for our drink, table not ready for about 25 mins.
Really lovely waitress. Our order was wrong and took over an hour to get any food on the table however we were offered a discount. Wanted to have dessert, but by the time we were finally asked for our order it was too late as we had a bowling lane booked. We were in there for 2 hours and only had a main course. However, waitress was very nice and friendly and sorted the incorrect order very efficiently and the food was good. Shame we couldn't get to have more than 1 course in 2 hours.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times and on 3 occasions have had to request that they refill toilet paper in the ladies as all 4 cubicles were empty. We were there at start of service, so I feel it should have been checked!!
Excellent welcome. Allowed a change of table for sofa seating (in preference to chairs.) Very friendly. Food delicious, sesame chicken strips (and allowed for coleslaw instead of chips.) Flexible and accommodating. Impressive. Meal before the theatre. Efficient service.
Never disappointed. Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
we good service but we thought you were shutting down the location as you had no starter ingredients, my husband couldn’t have an extra burger because you didn’t have enough and when we came or order desserts you hadn’t got any - getnuiur act together - your comments would be appreciated. We were off to the theatre so no time to dispute on the night - we Paid our £90 bill and left - very disappointing Janice Bustin
Music too loud could not hear people I was with even those sat next to me. Air con was on , freezing asked if it could be turned down, again nothing
Table was booked for 8pm but because we were 5 minutes late they gave it away to someone else (but lied about this), despite us calling beforehand to warn them that we'd be late due to traffic and travelling for an hour. We finally sat down at 8:50pm to be told "that one" by a female member of staff, nobody sat us down or offered us any drinks. We then waited for another 5 minutes before anyone came to the table. The gentleman who served us was absolutely fantastic, and very apologetic for the wait, extremely friendly and welcoming and I really cannot express this enough. We were all absolutely starving at this point and my partner began feeling quite sick, and by the time the food came out we almost didn't want it. We waited another 20 minutes for this. The food was lovely, as always, but I'm extremely disappointed that the food for a 8pm table, arrived at 9:20pm. We paid over 100 pounds for our food, and seeing as it was for my birthday, this was completely ruined and we all left feeling quite deflated. I visit TGI very regularly, and we do almost a 2 hour drive round trip, but this has made me apprehensive about going back as this isn't your usual service. I would appreciate a response.
We used to come every other week and we were so dissapointed the last 2 times. Bar staff has changed, they need training!!!! ASAP!!! Cocktails taste horrible now, we have been going else Where because of it. The guys have no interaction with the customers. What’s happened???? Food is average, kitchen can’t cope with the demand and things come out looking less than loved. Like I said, we used to come every other week but something in the last 4/8 weeks has changed and it’s not for the better. You are loosing customers.
Service was slow. Requested drinks that never came and my popping candy margarita was served in a wine glass with no popping candy.
Service was unfortunately not very good. We didn’t get cutlery, drinks were slow and some of our food orders came out wrong and one was extremely late and everyone else has already finished their mains. The manager apologised and did give us a discount on the bill. It was my daughters birthday and the staff made a good fuss of her and sang happy birthday, which was great. It wouldn’t put me off TGIs, but not the best experience.
Lovely food and good service. Although food took 40 mins to arrive (it was busy) which was a bit long for 2 kids who were starving.
We had a table of 14 people for a birthday party. Very disappointed with the service which was very slow. This made it difficult to get drinks and even going up to the bar was very slow service. There was a mix up with some of the food orders and everyone said that the chips were cold. Never the less we had a good night and the atmosphere was good. Asked for a TGI birthday song but never happened, but was happening on other tables. Felt like we were left out and I would say that this was due to a shortage of staff. Sadly I don't think we would go back.
Don’t no what they was doing with our meal or paying the bill
Waitress didn’t explain one meal. What I expected was polar opposite on what was described. Know your menu. Everything desperately overcooked and/or burnt and cold. Would I be returning? Not a chance
My sirloin steak was actually quite tough, I didn’t complain as my Son said it should be like that! The rest of the meals were ok.
