Great food great atmosphere
My son was refused Alcohol with his meal because he couldn't produce any ID. He is 18 but didn't bring his ID because the law states that it is legal young people over the age of 16 to drink if it is with a meal and an adult is paying. The waitress very stern and told us that your company operates its own special policy and he wouldn't be allowed alcohol under any circumstances without ID. In addition to that the table was very sticky, we asked for it to be cleaned but it still wasn't very nice. The menus were also in a disgusting condition, I literally had to peel mine apart it was so dirty. Over the years we have come to TGI s as we felt it offered a fun atmosphere but I felt this time quality had gone downhill and it certainly wasn't an enjoyable experience. I doubt we shall be returning.
Awful food music too loud and much more
I come here quite regularly Food was awesome but the service was hardly there
Great service good food
Even though I pre booked and mentioned it was a special occasion the table was not ready. We had to wait at least 5mins until someone decided to turn up at the waiting area. Our table was sticky and had no cutlery and when we asked for some after our food came it was just thrown on the table for us to get on with. The food was not nice and I have been to TGI’s many times but the food was not nice at all. At the end when we had to pay again we had to wait 10mins until we got up and waited again by the till for the waitress to turn up. All we could hear is a bunch of them having fun in the kitchen with a lot of noise. I am totally appalled with TGI’s Friday MK service. This use to be my favourite place to be but for the price I pay I would rather go to places like Nando’s, prezzo, zizi’s, ASK Italia where a service is excellent Sorry but I had to give this feedback
A little disappointed with the kids menu (ie. most places do dinner, drink and a pudding deal or kids eat free during half term) so on that I won’t be returning, Tostadas weren’t as nice as the chicken Cajun ones it was pineapple sauce and chicken so I didn’t enjoy this, I booked a table and confirmed it was for a birthday but when we walked in they didn’t even ask for booking and sat us down. Waitress was friendly however waitresses/waiters not always visible to ask for re-fills for drinks. Y
Absolutely fantastic birthday dinner for my son. The server was so friendly, apologetic when minor things went wrong! For a family of 9, it was very reasonably priced and the portions were huge! Much better experience at this branch than we've had at others!
My waiter was awesome !! Great service although really busy.
It was all really good , I enjoyed myself and so did everyone else who was with me.
Waitress was very attentive
Booked a meal for my 8 year old grandson, my daughter aged 25 and myself aged 51. Service was very good and our waiter was really helpful and pleasant. My grandson really enjoyed his dinner and was delighted with the red balloon at the end.
Our waitress on the evening was great, she was attentive and did a great job of looking after us all evening.
We normally eat at The Stadium MK TGI but they were fully booked for our table size so we thought we would give this one a go. Sorry guys but you come nowhere near the standard on service and food. Service was slow and they tried to charge me extra for a couple of JD glazes. Waited ages for cutlery to arrive and food was going cold. The food seemed to have sat under a heat lamp for a while before being served and they got the fries wrong on a kids meal. One of our party had to go to the bar to ask for service to the table as the waiting staff seemed to disappear. The shock was it wasn’t busy and half the restaurant was empty. Such a shame as we love TGI but next time if The Stadium MK one is full we will be eating at a different restaurant.
Sadly booking for my wife’s birthday and asking only that the night be made special, was asking for the opposite. From sitting down everything was friendly and good, apart from the table that was set, it was dirty, syrup or something from a previous tables meal was not cleaned properly, although it seemed we were being rushed to order we took our time, to the point, mains were dropped at the table, ordered a glass of wine and glass of water for my for my child, waitress was gone, I had no fork, could not eat, 5 to 6 minutes of trying to get someone’s attention I finally after a loud excuse me to our waitress asked for a fork and was given one, my 12 ounce steak looked like an 8 ounce and it was cold, I was halfway through when the waitresses helper remembered the wine and water, my wife told me to complain about my steak, but I was halfway through and could not be bothered for reason. My other boy asked for water and was just ignored, we sat with our dirty plates and table for over half an hour, I finally again after failing to make eye contact, again loudly had to call for our boys food to be put in a take away and asked for the bill, the takeaways arrived and waited another 10 mins before standing and waiting at the front for the bill whilst my wife and kids went to the car, waitres arrives with a bill and piece of birthday cake for my wife all smiles like everything was great, not that she had seen us much all night, asked if all was fine, I ended up saying no, told her about my cold food and was asked why I never complained, it’s because of the fact it took over 5 minutes to get a fork, meals drinks late, my wife’s burger, dry as cinomon poweder, how was wanting to complain going to help, I spent 100 pound and would have had more drinks, deserts, Irish coffees, so loss of revenue and loss of earnings, if only the waitress knew we tip very well, still gave her 5%, my wife called me silly. Anyway very bad experience, 2nd time to TGI Fridays and more than likely my last, first time was MK stadium and it was really enjoyable, this time ruined a special occasion. Thanks TGI MK
Despite booking online the table wasn't ready when I arrived and also I had to ask for the bench to be cleaned down before we could sit at it as it was covered in crumbs and sticky food bits. Despite this, the food we ordered and service was pretty good and we were able to order and have our food in plenty of time to get to the cinema to watch the film!
Excellent service , fab food
When me and my family first got to the restaurant it was busy and our table wasn’t ready, when we where seated the table hadn’t been wiped down no cutlery was laid my husband had ordered a refillable drink which was never refilled all the staff practically ran past our table we waited at least 20 minuets before we got our bill. It was my sons birthday and when it was time to sing happy birthday the male server was too busy chatting to another member of staff. I usually go to TGI in Northampton or Leicester and they have great customer service but this restaurant was awful. I will never go back again
Our first time at TGI Fridays. We were a party of eight with a three generation age range and every one of us really enjoyed our experience. Everyone enjoyed their food and found it to be very tasty and fresh. We all had different things. The young staff were extremely polite and courteous. They were very helpful and cheerful. It was a pleasure to meet them. When the bill came it was my treat to everyone so I paid. I was very pleasantly surprised and it didn’t break the bank! I will definitely go back to TGI’s.
David who waited on us was amazing couldn't do anything more to help us 5 star service
Friendly staff great food!
I always enjoy TGI Fridays. It’s the food and drink, the atmosphere and the service. We always go there for celebrations.
Very family friendly and great food. Kids meals are great too.
