The driest sweet corn in Manchester- obviously under A heat lamp for a while before being served. We felt neglected for the meal, sauces missing and took ages to be replaced, took an effort to get the bill. Generally a poor experience this time.
Service very very slow I ordered drinks when our food arrived and they didn’t turn up until well after we finished our food
The TGIs in the city centre is much better. Cocktails expensive and 90% ice. Food was not as nice as the other restaurant either and the bill was so expensive , we also had to wait ages for our drinks even though they were sat on the bar
Our waitress was fantastic, really attentive without being overbearing. Didn't get her name, she was blonde and lovely. Food was dry as anything though and zero atmosphere
We had a 2 course meal offer.. would be good if they did an offer on cocktails too!
Our waitress was very good but there didn't seem much urgency with the rest of the staff and the wait for food was quite a while.
We ended up spending around £50 which is standard for a TGI's meal, we expected no less. The food was room temperature to say the least but rather enjoyable and the drinks were hard to criticise. Although, I don't agree with the location, the train station was loud as per usual and the restaurant was extremely small and almost empty, overall creating a negative vibe which isn't what you want from a meal here. The service was slow but effective. We allowed more time as the lady was training and she was very polite. Overall, I love TGI Fridays and it is always my go to, but I will not be returning to this one as the location totally ruins the vibe. Thanks for reading.
Had the waitress Charlie. She was amazing. Fantastic service. Give her a raise.
It would have been good if you actually opened on time! You weren't open when we tried to get in for our table at 9:15
Fantastic meal and great atmosphere in this super convenient restaurant at Manchester Piccadilly station. Staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful. Would recommend. We ate there before taking the train to Manchester Airport. Much better experience and food than you get at the airport! Recommended.
Thank you so much to all staff for singing happy birthday to my girlfriend we were having lunch before getting the train back home and they made us feel welcome and were just savage
Disappointing visit after not going to a TGIs for years as the food quality and veggie menu had gone downhill. Nachos over cooked again and half of them don’t have cheese on them so are tasteless and oily. One was black on the outside edge as not covered with cheese properly. None of the desserts said they contained nuts yet the cookie dough was almond cookie dough. Horrible and far too strong a flavour. The popcorn on the children’s dessert was soft, not crisp and the brownies not nice. Really disappointed. We had to ask for a second drink despite our glasses being empty for over half an hour. It was a special treat for us at the end of our holidays and it was not worth the money spent at all. TGIs used to be my favourite restaurant but it went downhill about 10 years ago and has never recovered.
We had a great meal for my friends hen party. Our server was lovely she even told us that our friend could have a free drink as it was her hen party. The only thing was that there wasn’t any music playing (or it was maybe really quiet) which meant there wasn’t much atmosphere but it didn’t bother us too much.
Recieved amazing service from Ryan, the best we have ever had in a restaurant. He made us feel at complete ease and even stopped to have a chat with us about our stay in city. I cannot praise Ryan enough for making us feel so welcome and nothing was too much. Keep up the great work Ryan!
The one TGI we go to that doesn't look at us in bewilderment when we ask for a Strawberry Shortcake cocktail and service is always excellent. Also a nice setting as it is a little different
My daughter and I visited whilst waiting for a train. Only one member of staff was on the floor who in fairness tried to get the others out to help. The other staff were busy chatting and ignoring customers both who were seated and whom were waiting to be seated. The food when it eventually arrived was cold and the meat over cooked. A wholly unpleasant experience that was a disappointing end to the day.
Anna R was fantastic
Great service and food, music was a tad loud for us to fully enjoy chatting, otherwise my favourite TGI Fridays to date. Thank you.
Fantastic food, amazing service!! Food was quick and damn the cocktails were to die for! So much respect for the staff! Favourite place to dine!
Service was incredible all the employees were helpful and extremely friendly
Lovely Birthday meal - taking full advantage of the Birthday Cocktail offer! Staff went out of their way to try and find a balloon for our daughter.
The staff were very welcoming and attentive
Very friendly and helpful staff.
