We had a booking at the wrong restaurant we wanted Haymarket, so we went there and when they opened at 12 we got a table immediately. The waitress was kind and did her job. Nothing more, no extra service. We were there celebrating my sons 13th birthday & he had a huge badge on which showed this. The staff didn’t pick up on this and give him the expected TGI birthday treatment - he was devestated. We paid the bill for our meal and left. Not impressed
Brilliant food in a restaurant full of atmosphere served by great people. An occasion from start to finish and the best gluten free ribs anywhere!
Absolutely shocking all round. I booked in advance over a week ago as were travelling from Scotland to meet family in London. Booked for 5pm was told to arrive 15 minutes before which we did. Table wasn’t ready waited until 5.15pm before we were seated. Then the worst part we were split up were told they had no tables for 8 of us to sit together so we had to sit at two separate tables!!! I would never have booked if this was going to be the case we had limited time which is why we arranged to meet there and didn’t expect to be seated apart. The whole service was slow! It took absolute ages 6 of us decided to have the 3 course Xmas menu. At 7.45 we had to ask where the desserts were and only 4 came out. 1 never came at all and the other one was the wrong thing delivered to the table. At this point it was now 5 to 8 we had been in the restaurant since 15 to 5. We ended up having to ask for the bill as we had a event at 8.30 and had no time. So all in service was shocking the table situation was ridiculous and we never even got the food we paid for. Will not be returning!
We booked as we wanted a quick dinner before a show. It took 10 minutes to seAt us and then we were told it would be 1hr 30 mins for the meal. We left without eating.
We had to wait over half an hour- 45 minutes for our starters to arrive, the waiter was lovely but when I asked for ketchup I was brought mayo and asked for another drink just before my main arrived which I received after I finished my main by which point I didn’t really need it as I wanted it to wash down my food with. Due to this being a coke as well it wasn’t like it was a free refill I ended up just paying for a drink I never finished.
Several staff off sick so the people who were in did a good job under the cifrcumstances. They stayed cheerful and kept us up to speed on our order. Great lunch.
This was the 2nd year we had booked our Xmas party at TGIs Leicester Square and I’m afraid to say it was hugely disappointing. We waited well over an hour to be seated. The food when it arrived was really not up to the usual TGIs standard, ribs were very dry. Also a few things had run out, no limes for mojitos! The service was so slow we couldn’t have our deserts as people were having to leave to get the last trains - table was booked for 8:30 pm! I’d be interested in hearing the reasons behind such poor service. Regards Pravinder
Staff is great but difficult with deaf communication skills & order menu got mixed up by jake who served us apart of that everything is good not bad
really enjoyable place to come with friendly staff and great value for money
Booking wasnt on time had to wait 50 minutes for a table
I was waiting for friends and was ignored by staff for half an hour without being asked if I’d like a drink. Then my friend ordered her steak cooked medium rare and it came medium-well. It was sent back and still came back over cooked. Both times it came with the wrong sauce. We had to ask several times for mayonnaise. We ordered chilli beef nachos but there was no chilli beef on them. From when my friends sat down it took 20 minutes before anyone spoke to us and thenover an hour for our main courses to arrive from ordering.
We waited far too long for food and drinks. It was extremely busy and when the food arrived it wasn’t hot. We waited 1 hour for the starters . In total we was there 3 hours !
Was wowed over by the Christmas 3 course menu offer and christmas cocktails but the service was unbelievably slow and impersonal. I wondered if I was not talking English when the waiter kept looking at me blankly and walking off. We were still sat at the table 2 hours after sitting down trying to get our dessert order in. The cocktails were too sickly sweet to enjoy in the long waits between courses and by 7oclock we were desperate to get out. We did both really enjoy our starters however.
Busy restaurant, more staff needed, sometimes difficult to get anyone's attention. The server we did have was very friendly and polite.
Nice evening food was good Gaby our server was great! Recommending food and friendly! One of my friends was us upset you have removed the hot dog from your main menu.
Service was very slow had to wait a long time for food and drinks
Very good service friendly staff. Toilets a bit unclean.
We all had a great time, service was great and food was lovely
I have been to tgi in Leicester Square previously and had no real opinion. But for my birthday due to you having gluten and dairy options I booked there for my family. The waitress was amazing and she was fabulous with it being my birthday celebration. So it was a perfect birthday meal. My only comment would be to have a better mixture of dairy and gluten free options as my sister wanted a bbq chicken with chips and you had a bbq with no gluten and a bbq with no milk, so if you were able to get one like Heinz or your own version. That would make it all flawless. But overall superb. The waitress was incredible x
