The service was so slow. We stood at the bar before our reservation for 20 minutes without being served. Then got seated and after 20 minutes of being sat down we had to actually ask for someone to take our drinks order. Took another 15 mins for basic drinks to come out then again had to ask someone to take our food order.
Service felt rushed but was very slow. Starter came before the drinks Lovely taste to food though
Waiting time was really bad from waiting for a table (even though I booked one online) to waiting really long for food and drinks. After waiting so long the food came burnt. Not what I expected.
Just want to say the service was terrible we have been to loads of tgi and had a great dinner in this one two days earlier but on Sunday the service was worst I have had and ended up finishing our dinner quickly and leaving to have dessert at another venue as the table we were given must have been the only one with no dedicated waiter.
Ambient noise level (music) seemed higher than I remember from a previous visit. It made hearing our conversation difficult.
Food was great but service was horrendous. After booking in advance they told us to wait to be seated. After a 20 minute wait we asked the same waitress (who had passed in front of us multiple times) when we would be seated, to which she replied "oh you haven't been seated yet?". Our order was taken after a decent amount time, but we witnessed at least 2 other tables venting their frustration/leaving after waiting long wothout being served. Later, when the food came the waiter offered us some sauces and we requested ketchup and mayo (which were situated literally 3 steps away), none of these ever arrived. Needless to say, we did not leave any tips like we usually do. A real pity, as anything other the poor service would make for an enjoyable experience.
We had to ask to have our order taken and waited ages for food to arrive (and was a little cold when it did)
Lovely staff and great food.
Anna the waitress was lovely. Very polite and helpful
I ordered a steak and when it came it was really tough and I couldn’t really cut it. I spoke to someone about it and they did offer me another one but by the time I would of had it my wife would of finished her meal so I got a fall refund.
We where sat near the kitchen which we didn’t mind at all but the fans where straight on us and it did get very cold. We understand staff need it on them on I’m the kitchen but not sure they need to be faced on the customers. Can not complain about anything else great service food was very nice and very clean.
Despite the restaurant being busy our waitress was with us promptly, and was attentive throughout our meal, topped up our refillable soda's without being intrusive and was friendly with our children. Food arrived in reasonable time and was hot and well prepared. Only disappointment was that the sundaes we ordered for dessert were quite small compared to their cost and they had run out of some of the ingredients.
One of our favourite places to eat.
Very busy glad to of booked prior. Cocktails were not up to usual standard but putting it down to busy Friday. Waitress was amazing and friendly.
Love coming to TGI Fridays
10mins before drinks and food order taken. Starters came promptly but no drinks had arrived at this point - we had to ask for our drinks twice. Mains arrived in 2 stages. 4 of our party got them together. 5th member of our party did not receive until 20mins later - we again had to ask the waiter twice to chase up. During this 20mins the waiter was happy to sit with friends on a nearby table - he had done this earlier while we were still waiting for drinks. We were impressed that the manager came to apologise that one of our meals was late and she would take something off the bill. This made us feel better. At this point we thought we would have been looked after better! Sadly no. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks or desserts (the waiter chose to sit with friends again) and when we asked if we could speak to the manager again we were kept waiting for 20mins and in the end gave up all hope paid the bill and left. Interestingly we were not even given a full refund of the late meal. The toilets were disgusting and the service appaling. Just read that this restaurant is award winning!!!! Would love to know what award???? Absolutely disgusted and have always enjoyed visiting TGIs before. We will not return.
We had asked for a quiet location as one of our party is autistic but unfortunately we were placed in an area with loud music. It was difficult for him to remain at the seat any longer than necessary as it was too uncomfortable for him. The server was so pleasant and helpful though and we would come again but only if we knew we could get a quieter spot.
Regrettably my first experience at the Tgi Fridays in Leicester Square wasn’t pleasant at all. We were given a table next to the kitchen , which was spacious and cozy. The starters ( Hot Wings ) took 35 minutes to arrive, yet they were tasty and to our liking. The mains took just under an hour to arrive and in all honesty the ‘classic American’ Burger was pretty ‘boring’ tasteless, dry and the bun was cold and breaking up . The triple jack burger again the bun was cold and breaking up, taste-wise the burger was flavourless and dry , possibly the beef patty has been cooked long time ago and then just put on a bun. We ordered the ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Long Island ice tea’ twice , and the second time the Hurricane came in a different type of glass and tasted different. The Long Island ice tea came in the same type of glass however looked and obviously tasted completely different. I believe the steaks on the menu are overpriced and certainly looking at the way they are cooked it doesn’t entice me coming to an ‘American dinner’ to eat a tasteless slab of meat. All in all I believe you guys need to work a lot on consistency.
Service was a little slow. Everyone in our party received their dinner, and nearly finished their meal before I received mine.
Our waiter he was so lovely very friendly. Experience would of been excellent if the meet and greet waiter seemed happy and welcoming. Overall I can't complain about TGI
when me and my partner arrived there was a couple of in front of us who hadn’t booked a table and were asked to wait 25 minutes, we had a table booked at that time so sat down straight away, 25 minutes pass and the couple sit next to us with a drink they purchased from the bar, we still haven’t received our drinks, all we wanted was a beer and a coke, there starters and main also arrive before us, not happy with the service
Excellent customer service from one of your colleague (wayne )very polite when passing by us he will ask if he can assist us with anything else much appreciate his helpfulness.
We were a group of four who went to TGIFridays Leicester and was welcomed by a very nice guy called Ben (he should be cloned :)) ). He was very attentive with our orders and he made us really comfortable with our dining. Our food was great, all the full rack JD ribs were perfectly cooked (not charred) for us to enjoy the flavour. Overall, we had a lovely time there and would definitely go again.
