It's the first time we've visited this TGI since it opened / moved. Our waitress was awesome! Really attentive service, made sure we always had drinks and everything we needed. Will be going back next time we are in London :-)
The service was a little slow but it was Saturday night and our server did inform us it may happen, so we weren't too bothered by that. Our server was very friendly and did her best to make up for the orders delay. Food and music great as usual.
This was my second visit to this restaurant since the previous week and I must admit the service in there was outstanding. All staff, and I mean ALL staff are very positive and have a “can do” attitude which makes all the difference. Service was given was a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed my visit and food was beautiful. By far the best two visits I have ever had to TGI Fridays ever. Will be returning very soon. Hats off to all the staff and the recruitment team for sourcing great people.
Haven’t been to the new site (last time I visited it was opposite Cafe de Paris) but this new site is much nicer, more spacious. Our waitress, Naomi, was excellent and looked after us the entire visit. We will definitely return!
Thanks for waitress and team making our daughters birthday special, thanks
Visited this TGI on a few occasions and there seems to be a theme where the waiters/waitresses fail to listen to what you've ordered. This last visit, I asked for the fries that comes with the meal to be replaced by a salad, simple enough. However, the meal arrived with fries and no salad. I've given up trying to get the order changed when the meal arrives as this proves to be a very difficult task for the staff. That said, the food and drinks are satisfactory as was the atmosphere and this branch is a convenient location near Leicester Square.
The Irish man that served us was amazing!!! Resulting in us spending alot more money!
Arrived 10 mins later for my booking because Toy Story premier was on in front of the restaurant ( it was a nightmare getting through the crowd). No discretions was shown. When we arrived we had to wait 5 mins before someone attends to us (there was no staff on entry) When a staff member attend I told her my appointment was at 2pm, she just looked at me and said you are late, we have given your table away and we don’t know when a table will be available. ( there were loads of empty table around). Also TGI is a restaurant where one can just walked in and considering the Toy Story premier was happening in front of the restaurant, I believe the staff cld have been more considerate to us paying customers plus it wasn’t busy. I over heard a staff member saying to her colleague “ they are 15mins late, they just have to wait”. We waited for 10 minutes before being told they’ve found a table and it’s being cleaned. We waited for another 20mins before being seated. As for the food, I was extremely disappointed by the salmon meal for £16.99 I order. It was so tiny I had to ask the waiter if it was a joke. I wish I cld have post the pic of the salmon. It was just a tiny strip even the chicken strips were bigger plus it was burned. NEVER again!!
Service was very slow the waiter was lovely but he kept forgetting us and we had to wait and try and grab someone when we had finished which was disappointing. But food was good.
Been here a couple of times, always leave happy.
I had a great night. Thank you to the staff also who where full of energy
Amazing staff. They were all working so hard, but never stopped smiling and making us feel welcome.
Took 90 minutes in total just to have a main course and the bill. One meal came hot and then the other arrived a few minutes later with lukewarm fries. The food and drinks were really tasty. We ordered drinks that were on the old menu and they were happy to make them anyway. All of the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was fun and loud.
Table not ready, waitress not attentive- 20 minutes to take order, 25 minutes for drinks to be delivered even though bar staff stood doing nothing. Had to chase food/drinks every step. Shame, as normally love tgis, however worst experience. Restaurant however, was lovely.
Great food and atmosphere plus quick service, would go again and recommend for a restaurant to go to before an event! Everything needed x
The arguing between wait staff was a bit distracting - may be part of the atmosphere but I felt it went too far. One accused her colleague of "stealing" her forks and then went round and picked up all the forks that he had just laid on the tables around us!
Food and service were excellent. Ladies toilets were an absolute disgrace. Told staff they should be ashamed about this on the way out.
After enjoying the old location for many years,I found the new one a disaponitment , Its just not got the flar & the bizz of the old TGFat ther top of the Square ! I have traveled the world & enjoyed the food ,sevice, & atmosphere in many TFG,s the one at the top of Leicester Square was at the top of the list, Sorry Guys you are going to have to work hard to get back up that tree ! Sadly Mel Edwards MS
Lovely team, very welcoming
It was my brothers birthday and we absolutely loved the guy that sang and made the biggest show - it was priceless and absolutely one of a kind!!! Thank you. Great friendly staff at the bar too 👍
It was my daughters 7th birthday, which I mentioned on the booking and she was offered a balloon on arrival but that was pretty much it. It just wasn’t very special for her as I thought it would have been.
