Went to the Leeds restaurant yesterday and was bitterly disappointed. The table we were sat at was right in front of the air conditioning unit and it was nothing short of freezing. We did eventually ask to move but the cold draft from the air conditioning unit continued to make our stay unpleasant. The only thing positive was our lovely waiter but when he brought both courses we were bitterly disappointed. The starter of boneless chicken wings was cold and the glazed burger I had for main was below average, with cold burnt chips. Not impressed and certainly won’t be going or recommending again.
Our go-to restaurant, food and service are always great :)
Staff professional, polite and accommodating. Food was good as expected.
We went for my sons 8th birthday, our server, Luke, was really good and looked after us.
I have tasted better McDonald's than this
Brilliant venue for a family meal for our daughter’s fifth birthday. The staff couldn’t have been any better, entertaining for the kids (complete with balloon animals and shapes) as well as patient, and friendly and attentive for the adults. Food is good and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere for the kids was superb. We’ll be back for my son’s third birthday.
top service, food portions were a good size and not for an extortionate price
It would be 5 stars for service if it wasn’t for our trip last August when I placed a complaint after we had left which no one bothered to respond to
The restaurant was cold. We were there for a birthday which I made the waitress aware, however they failed to acknowledge this and brought me the bill without us being able to celebrate my partners birthday what a disappointment.
Fabulous as always
Very enjoyable visit to TGI ,lovely food
Food took nearly an hour both my kids 2 and 3 got bored, when the mains come, i had the sesame chicken strips and up graded the fries to mario fries - this come with the chicken strips on one plate - only covering a quater of the plate and the chips in a separate bowl, for £15.00 i thought this was really poor, no effort at all was put in......Ive been plenty of times before and this time i was shocked at how poor it was
Baring in mind I booked for the White Rose Centre Leeds and god knows what happened it went to Wellington Street Leeds.. Had to rush to another TGI’s to save the booking... Table was booked at 3:15 and our mains were served at 5:45pm.. Yes that long!!! And this was all meant to be a surprise meal for our mum which obviously wasn’t as we had to then go somewhere else I’m beyond livid!! My sister was late getting back to her army camp in Surrey because of the mess around I’m not happy.. Infact as a loyal customer to you and I ALWAYS tell my friends to come and rave on about you I expected some kind of compensation.. Not 1 free drink for 1 person on our table!!! THEN they tried to say the table was always booked for Wellington Street.. THIS IS NOT YHE CASE as my friend booked to have a table next to us and was told she could fit on our table as there was no more availability fair enough... BUT how could they say that if like they said the table was never booked there and somewhere else!! LIVID VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER and 8 people squashed into a table of 6 which we had to do because of your mess around is disgusting!!!
We booked a meal for tea time for our son’s birthday on a Monday. We were looked after by Rebecca and she did all she could to make the birthday boy feel special as well as his younger brother and also gave him a balloon hat to wear too so he felt like he was joining in. She also made them both models from balloons and talked to them a lot. The birthday boy also got to order his own pudding choices on the till. With the candle to blow out on his pudding and the happy birthday song from the staff, he had a great birthday tea and the food was good too.
Our waitress, Stevie, was fantastic. Only criticism was it was cold in the restaurant.
We were looked after fantastically by Kieran.
Very friendly and helpful waitresses. The kids love the atmosphere.
Team very friendly, I requested a certain table and they reserved it for me.
Table ready on arrival, great tasting food and drink at a reasonable price. Just a slight wait for the main course and sweet, than I would have expected.
A group of 16 family went to celebrate 2 birthdays, in our party we had 4 children one of which has Autism. Starters came within time frame and all correct. We sat with dirty starter plates for 15/20 mins and then a further half hour for main. Children had main meal with adult starters but one was still waiting for mayonnaise when all adults had finished we requested it to another server who passed message to our server and it took until spoken to manager to get it. Desserts were served to children while dirty plates left on table. Autistic child’s dessert did not come until we were asking for bill and then he got the wrong one. Server informed us original one had been dropped so had to wait for another one to be made. This distressed the child as he did not want to eat when everyone was waiting to leave. All the food was ok except sirloin steak which was over done and tough. Not the experience we wanted to make memories for special birthdays. Joe the manager was very nice and deducted 25 percent off bill and said we had encounted lots of little errors which should not have happened which was an under statement. I would have liked Joe to invite the whole party back for a free meal and get the food and service it should be to prove TGI staff can do it !!!!!!!
Excellent as always
A lovely waitress from South Africa. Very attentive and professional
Service was slow. Restuarant wad not busy. Each couse arrived looking like it had been under a heat lamp for too long waiting to be collected so any garnish was shrivelled. For what the food was and what is charged you would be better off going to the other food chain that at least throws a free drink in woth there similar types of food. Didnt complain as i jist wanted to get out as a party of abput 20 people were located far too close to us.
Please add some veg/non wilted salad to dishes :)
