Lovely meal. Excellent service. Would definitely go back.
Staff was friendly, and the food was good
Sam, our server, was lovely. However, the gentleman who was responsible for seating us initially was incredibly rude. When we asked if we could sit somewhere quieter, he replied 'it's noisy everywhere, that's the nature of our restaurant'- this was on a Sunday evening, at 5:30pm- was actually pretty quiet everywhere in the restaurant. I explained we have eaten at TGIs a number of times previously and have always been accommodated if possible- he retorted this was the standard response. I felt he had no respect for the customer. I am well aware of the 'nature of TGIs' but have fully been looked after in the past. I would understand if the restaurant was full of parties- of course the place would be noisy. A suitable reply might then be that he would try but couldn't guarantee it.
Very slow service, large nachos only had about 10/15 tortilla chips (it was all salad), kids meals came without the veg sticks, gravy seal burger had only 3 prawns( picture showed many more), one camecwithout any bacon and we had to wait 15mins for it to come. So disappointed. We won’t be returning. Completely over priced.
The happy birthday song is the best
We had booked a table for 6 some time ago but when we were seated, we were sat in a booth that was cramped for 6 adults. It felt like we were dining in economy on a plane. Drinks were also brought out in instalments and this took a while.
Bad service but great food and drink
We had a great evening for my daughters birthday - loved the birthday song with dessert! 🍰
Great service, didn't have to wait for food considering we were a large party.
The service was incredibly slow, our starters even arrived before two bottles of Heineken...! The food was pretty good, but the loaded wedges were really greasy with not much flavour throughout.
Came with my family, I have 6 children and it was my sons birthday. As it was on his birthday last year, waiter completely disinterested , had to ask for everything including kids packs . What a disappointment again, I have been eating here for over 15 years and in its prime waiters actually cared and enjoyed their jobs. What has happened that people are so disinterested in their thirsts, just from me you probably lose a meal a month to the value of £200 and I have many friends who feel the same. Shame as the food is good, safe to say my money will be spent in one of the many other restaurants in Kingston where the staff care, are attentive and where it makes me feel I am getting value for money, poor show TGIs again, amazed you are surviving in such a competitive environment
Great food, drinks are amazing and service was really good, friendly girl!
Waited way to long for food, when food arrived it was cold so had to get some dishes made again and by the time they came out everyone else had finished. Quality of the food was not great. Bucket of boned if normally juicy, everything was so dry. Desert looked nothing like the photo, £6 for a bowl of ice cream with a few cookie dough pieces. What a rip off. Seating plan in the back was terrible. Only nice thing was the lady who served us.
We enjoyed our food and the service at the table was very good. One remark though. Upon arrival we had to wait quite a long time as no one was at the front desk..... We were almost about to leave....
Went to celebrate my dad's birthday, it was brilliant! Lovely staff and food.
Grat birthday party venue, always happy and helpful staff. Balloon hat makes it special for the occasion. Thanks TGI Fridays!
Burgers were dry. Five staff talking by the entrance for 45 minutes. Took an hour after sitting down to get first drinks. Was at the table for about 2 and half hours and only got served twice.
The food was burnt and tasteless the pasta dish wasnt cooked. The portion sizes very small. Its over priced i think ive had a better burger in a burger king
Myself and my family are regulars at TGIs - this was by far the worse ever dining experience across all of the places we’ve eaten as including TGIs. Service was SHOCKING. Food was average at best when usually it’s graat. Massive disappoint.
Poor , slow service and staff with serious attitude
All good. Will be back
The service was great. Our waitress was clearly very busy but managed to be attentive. My only complaint was I ordered my favourite cocktail, Cosmo, and when it arrived the already small glass was only half full. When I ordered a second the same amount showed up. Clearly the stuff are adhering to the mearurments they have been told to do but for the over £6 price tag I want a full glass. Very unhappy aa this is my favourite oart of TGIs.
Excellent service and great food at meal for my daughter's birthday ... Our waitress was great and made a lovely fuss of her
Hardly any staff on, 2 waiting staff and 1 bar. There was a lot of people in there for a Tuesday and a few big tables of people. The poor staff didn't know which way to turn next! Waited 20 mins to be served, 40 minutes for the food to come out. Ordered cocktails which sat on the bar for 15 mins until I walked over there and collected them myself by then they tasted watery cos all the ice had melted. The blackened chicken fajitas were OVERLY hot (spice wise not heat) never had them that hot anytime I've been before. The rest of the food was nice. Staff were lovely but even had to get up twice and go find someone to get the bill. Not their fault but seriously understaffed which meant a terrible service. TGI wasn't Friday cos we would have never been served!
Kingston TGI is the worst Friday I have visited. JD sauce was great, same like other branches BUT your ultimate ribs was tasteless. At other branch we get onion rings on top of ultimate ribs BUT not at Kingston branch. Food waiting time was 45 minutes!. At other fridays, all staff will come out and sing for birthday celebration which bring good ambience. Unfortunately, at your place no staff interested in birthday celebration. I will not come back again at Kingston branch. I prefer to go a bit further to Croydon TGI
