We were unable to have certain drinks, as they were out of stock, and this was the same with vegetarian and children meals, however, the staff did all they could to make our experience positive and the customer service e received was outstanding.
I booked online where it told me a I had to vacate the table within 2 hours, when we arrived the place was half empty, it then took quarter of an hour to give our drinks order and then half an hour for them to arrive, meanwhile we gave our meal order, the waiter had to return to confirm things on the order as he had not fully understood it in the first place, when the starters arrived, only 2 of the 3 children’s arrived and 4 of the 5 adults arrived, we then sat waiting expecting the rest to arrive, but they didn’t so we had to go and remind them of the missing food. They eventually arrived, when the adults main meals arrived they were all lukewarm and not at all nice, but we all ate them as we had been waiting so long we did not want to wait even longer whilst they cooked them again, with our complaint we were given every meal and every starter free, but that in no way made up for poor way our dining experience was handled, we will not be returning to that restaurant again. We left the restaurant two and a half hours after we arrive, no one was hovering round our table to sit at it and the place was still around half full.
It was very quiet especially for a Friday night. The food was ok but took a while for our drink orders to arrive despite it not being busy at all. Our server on the other hand was very nice
The deals are really good
The waiter Anthony was very nice and provided great services
Long wait for food but experience made better by attentive service from Phil. Great service, thank you.
We had a great night ... Laura our server was fab and our whole night was great xx
Had a great evening! Our waiter was lovely
Overall good experience, however, I didn’t like how I was waiting about 5-10 minutes for someone to show us to our table
Really good service by staff
I was actually quite disappointed waiting for the food! I waited 50 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes before my table booking at 8.30 pm to get the best experience as TGI Friday said so! Then I had to ask 45 minutes later where our food is! It arrived 5 minutes later and the chips were cold!!!!! This says to me that your staff have to communicate more. However! The food was good and the service was exceptional! I even waited 25 minutes for desert!!!!
I can not thank the staff at tgi Fridays any more for all there help in making sure my daughter grace had a birthday she would not ever forget. Every one in that restraunt helped out and I only wish I had more money to tip... You only turn ten once and the help they ga e was invaluable in assuring a memory that will hopefully never be forgotten. Thank you to all who helped. 😁
We had a lovely meal at TGI Fridays our waitress was lovely always happy and helpful and very efficient
Needs an overhaul loos dated, felt dirty. Menus sticky. Waitress was lovely however all staff were so young. Food mediocre, you have much more competition nowadays compared to when you opened. Need to up your game. We were disappointed
We all had a wonderful experience for my birthday 🎂 thank you for all the effort that was put in.
Arrived early at 18:00 and asked if we could be given a table then. Restaurant was 2/3 empty and was told by the hostess that we could be seated in 15 minutes and to have a drink at the bar. At 18:35 I had to approach the hostess who was having a great time with a colleague, if we had our table. She then proceeded to set a table that had been vacant since we arrived and we were then seated. Why this took so long I have no idea. Food was good, drinks average and desserts bland and tasteless. Waitress did her best and was pleasant.
When the main meals came up, they were cold, but Lauren, our waitress, got right on it to make sure our food was hot. When we ordered a rocky road and a popcorn brownie sundae, there were hardly any brownie or popcorn and the rocky road was missing the marshmallows and cherries, when we questions why our deserts were missing ingredients we were theb informed that they did not have them in stock. Now it would of been nice to be told this at the beginning of our desert order to give us a chance to look for a different desert. This is now been disappointment on 2 separate occasions with missing ingredients for the deserts and I am now considering not returning to the Kingston restaurant. Lauren our waitress was really nice and attentive but it still isn't a good visit when your food is cold and your desert has missing ingredients.
Slow service.waved at serving staff for ages to bring ketchup for two kids having hot dogs with chips. Why wouldn’t you bring it without asking or at least ask, and then to ignore us; poor, very poor! As to medium rare steak - forget it - you get it as the chef cooks it which is medium to well done but we’d waited so long we weren’t going to send it back! Cocktail bar service - 1 poor guy who had been there a short time was lacking in a training course to find where everything was but he did mix great drinks
We enjoyed our meal because the atmosphere is always great and as we have been regulars at TGI Kingston for nearly two decades now, it holds great memories for us. However, it was really dirty around the table and there were still chips left on the floor from the previous customers. The menus were really sticky, and although the children didn't notice and I tried to ignore it, I couldn't quite escape the general feeling of 'ick'!
Food and service were really good. Bartender was bit heavy handed with syrup in the cocktails but I enjoyed mine anyway. Sadly, 2 of the 3 ladies toilets were out of service and the third was filthy with no toilet roll.
Almost everything was running out from the starters to the sides, ice cream and even whipped cream. We were each given less than a teaspoon of coleslaw with our mains and we asked for ketchup several times. We ended up walking around the restaurant ourselves looking for it and even then all we found was an empty bottle. The waiter however was helpful and was clearly under pressure. He was very apologetic. We have never experienced service as bad as this before at a TGI’s but definitely won’t be returning to this branch!
Was really really slow at getting our food and drinks then once brought the drinks over had to tell us they have run out or forgot what we ordered and then the beer was horrible and flat had to get that changed and had to wait ages for the bill we will definitely not be going back there again
Had dinner here with a couple of friends and the food and service was amazing. There was a great vibe. Definitely recommend and the 'sweet potato fries' are sooo good!!
