Awful, restaurant feels dated, we waited a long time to be served though waiter was friendly but service very slow. Won’t return even though we’ve been going to TGI for years. The whole concept needs updating.
Menu is much smaller than it used to be, alot of good appetizers have now been taken off the menu. Over priced and not as good as it used to be.
Food was good although was not all served at the same time, had to ask twice for pepper sauces and by the time they came out had almost finished meal, drinks ordered at the same time didnt come out together, onion rings were cold, greasy and obviously cooked in a fryer that needed clean oil. The waitress was slow, seemed disinterested and was unhelpfull. As a family we have visited TGI high wycombe lots of times, this time, on my sons 19th birthday it was not a good night, mainly due to the service, i will not be returning. Hope this review is helpfull Regards D lawler
Awful service, very slow, waitress was extremely quiet could barely hear her, food was average, no cutlery, not impressed.
Excellent service, menu needs a refresh
Food was good, it was very loud and the service was slow and poor.
The tables were so close together we were dominated by a large family group beside us which made it hard to talk. Balloons were banging on our backs and children moving around all the time. I appreciate that it is a child friendly restaurant but a bigger gap between tables would have been appreciated.
Service was slow
We waited a very long time to order, again for plates to be cleared. Asked for desert menus twice. Only half of plates were cleared, the rest for left for nearly half hour. We had to get the attention of waiter for everything as we waited so long before he came back each time. The only thing that arrived promptly was the bill. Disappointed as we all eat with you regularly with no issues but on this occasion with a 6pm reservation with 4 children it was nearly 8 30 before we left after our wait.
Was a great evening staff and food good and nice atmosphere around restaurant.
Darryl our waiter was fantastic but service was very slow as there were many customers and very few staff
Only downside was the table and chairs were sticky it felt like it needed a bit more cleaning.
An enjoyable evening for my birthday
Service very poor asked the waitress for dressing for salad that didn’t arrive Wanted another drink didn’t see our waitress for 15minutes Wanted to order desserts waited another 15minutes for a menu Very disappointed meal £71 fir two of us then waited ages to pay our bill Overall we weren’t happy at all
The service was rubbish it was not even busy. We had to ask 3 times for mayo, the third time my daughter went and found the manager and asked for the mayo and a refill drink. We was not asked once how the food was.
You need to ditch the paper straws. Ruins every cocktail
I was throughly disappointed with the lack of service received and I expressed that to my waiter who didn’t seem to care. This has made me not want to return to this restaurant. So disappointed with my experience after being a regular visitor. I will be expressing my views on FB social media so others do not get subjected to the same experience.
We wee served by Colin, who was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. A great ambassador for the TGI brand.
Colin our waiter was brilliant, attentive and can’t fault his effort to make it a brilliant evening
What made the visit was Colin our server. He was amazing - funny, attentive, everything was correct - and we are a picky family - that guy is a credit to your business and all that I have come to expect from tgi Fridays. Not all servers are like him. He was fab - kids chose this for my sisters birthday and Colin made it special. Thank you
was really impressed with the service i ordered a steak and it wasn't cooked to how i had asked for it and as the steak it quite expensive especially as i'm a student i asked for it to be changed, it was changed quickly and was then cooked to perfection staff were attentive as usual and very pleasant. atmosphere was very loud but that is understandable as it was a Friday night so wasn't bothered by that on the a pleasant evening and will definitely come again
Service was quite slow and I had to wait about 10 minutes for my bill
