Cleanliness was a real issue; sticky table, servers uniform, toilet bowls stained brown. Although my food was ok, my 2 guests had issues with something sweet and sticky being on the bottom of a garlic bread starter and also on the bottom of a fajita wrap which made us question the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Had a wonderful birthday lunch! Great service ! Wonderful food and cocktails!
Really fun, love their milkshakes
We were ignored by the two people at the meet and greet point who seemed to think it was ok to chat instead of welcoming customers
Good food, good service
We travel from Oxford to dine with you , food and service is phenomenal , well done TGI , there's no one that comes close to your beautiful food and friendly staff , now just give me the recipe for your famous jack Daniels sauce 😉
Waited for 45mins for starter. Seem to notice that the deliveries are going out quicker than the restaurant meals Lemonade was flat and the glass was warm. One of the waiters decided to get cutterly off random tables that people had left previously, Such a shame as TGI fridays used to be really good. Won’t be going bad for a while and will be sharing our experiences with friends and family.
Jack, our server, was excellent and took care of us very well. The waiters in TGI are one of the reasons we choose this restaurant often.
The waiter was so bubbly and the food was delicious !
Didn't want to award 1 star but nil was not an option!Cannot rate the experience, it was so poor in every respect. Service woeful. food atrocious and over-priced. have not been to the High Wycombe restaurant for a few years, it certainly has deteriorated. Was meant to be a Birthday celebration and was a huge disappointment.
Waited 5-10 mins for a table even though I had booked a table (forgivable). Then put on one of 2 tables renowned for being forgotten. Took another 15 mins for drinks order to be taken (ordered food at same time). Food tastes like it had been on the pass for ages, or had been re-heated (fries were soggy); didn’t get the drink as ordered even though I had asked no ice and a slice of lemon 3 times. Appeared to be a few ‘birthdays’, so may not be server’s fault, may be poor staffing decisions by management; may want to re-think the ‘drop everything to sing’ and attend to all customers...
We booked a table and we arrived with my disabled mother we made to wait and the host advised us that our table was being cleaned he showed us which table it was and it was situated in area which was suitable for my disabled mother, and then another member of staff decided that we couldn’t have that table as she wanted it for a bigger party !!! All this time we were left standing and waiting for another table not once did my mother get offered a chair to sit on she would normally be in a wheelchair and if I bring her again I will ensure that I bring this in with me, all in all this spoilt her day out ( she is normally house bound) we finally got seated at 3.50 when our booking was 3.30, yes it was a bank holiday and yes it was busy but when you book a table you expect it to be available or at least within 5/10 minutes.. I will add our server was very good and made sure that we had everything we needed, I doubt my mother will return because of this experience
Plates were dirty, some food not cooked through other foods over done. Very disappointing as we took my grandad out for a meal which he doesn’t do very often so he was polite but he was disappointed in the food, his plate was dirty and so was ours like it had not been cleaned previous as the dirt was hard. Paying extra for loaded chips to have nothing but a mere sprinkle of bacon bits and no cheese on two meals. Was a let down.
It was a lovely evening for my mother’s birthday and we loved the birthday signing and cake but we just found the service was a little bit slow. It didn’t ruin the evening but just was a little slow for us, we also had a 6 year old who got very tired
Our company meal was at midday, so restaurant was quiet, however the staff were very attentive and catered for us in a swift manner (food pre-ordered and cooked) so we weren’t out for lunch for too long.
Love this place. Always good food and great service.
Abi was our waitress and she was so lovely with my girls, one was having a birthday and the other suddenly came over unwell. She was kind and helpful so was happy with our visit. Thank you We visited high Wycombe
Very slow waited an hour for our main meals Jack the waiter was lovely x
When we eat we don’t need to ask from the waiters ,,how like the food etc...”. We are not in rest. When we pay it is fine to ask... And never come back the same guy to our table, every time an other guy came with questions...
Sam booked us in and was brilliant as I had to amend my booking a few times!! The food and drinks were amazing and service was excellent as usual. My daughter had a lovely birthday meal!
Great atmosphere and service.
The children had fun and ate all of their food- so to me that is a good day!
My wife ordered blackened chicken fajitas and they were so spicy she couldn't eat them (the menu didn't mention spiciness). We pointed this out to the server when asked how the meal was, he seemed disinterested and did nothing and then came back at the end of the meal asking if everything was ok. I reminded him of the spicy chicken, he ignored that. No attempt was made to substitute or replace or offer any kind of alternative, or an acknowledgement reduction on the bill.
Great experience friendly staff
