The staff were extremely attentive and made the experience good. However, some of the food was either wrong or not that great although some of it was also very nice.We were a big group and I know that makes it difficult and we were given some discount, it is just a pity that is was nearly a really really good night.
The staff were very attentive to all our needs everything we asked for was met with positivity and a feeling that it was not a problem lots of smiles and friendliness , the table was personal with a light box which I loved, there were 15 of us and we all commented on how much we enjoyed the food and cocktails. I’ve organised this xmas gathering for the last 10 years and this has to be a favourite and will book again next year !! Please thank Jacob and the waiting staff the chefs and the lovely cocktail maker for making our Christmas gathering special. Kind regards and Merry Christmas!!!
Fab evening well worth a visit
Great service great food.
We really enjoy coming here as a family, the children enjoy the food and bike, we get to enjoy a calm family meal. The staff are friendly and good with the children
Amazing service staff was fantastic and helpful. Was always around if we needed anything
Amazing service, the lady that looked after us was amazing!
Our server was fab! Really interacted with the kids and made my daughter feel special on her birthday. The table was ready with balloons when we arrived and our food and drink came quickly and was great. They sang happy birthday braught her cake out and it was just perfect.
Excellent staff who went above and beyond.
My starter Rudolph roulette ended up coming with 3 out of 5 cheese things as hot so I really couldn’t eat it. The staff were really apologetic and even refunded the cost of my starter which I didn’t expect so was a really nice gesture
Food was expensive staff was lovely and service was great
Food was not good and the bill was a lot for what it is. Best of going for a nicer meal somewhere else
Although we all really enjoyed our meal we did have to send one of our starters back due to it having gwacamoli on... This was resolved straight away and the manager was very helpful
Music was a bit too loud normally don't mind the music but being with 8 other people sat at a booth felt like we had to shout across the table
The food was over done. My jacket skins were burnt and the ribs were almost burnt too which is a shame as they are usually delicious. The food took ages too Service was good though.
Sorry to give bacd feedback guys, I had fond memories of TGI and decided to book pre cinema as a treat for my girls... To save time and space heres a bulleted list of reasons for star rating above: Arrived 5.15 1. Seated next to kitchen despite lots of room in and around restaurant. As we were back to back with another table with kids I presume this is a policy to keep the kids in one spot and avoid noisy youngster spoiling the place. If so, I get it, but it's won't have us returning. 2. Seats had been cleaned/washed down (?) but were sticky. this was noticed independently by each member of my family. Possibly from the last family with kids? 3. Prompt initial attendance to introduce staff... then... 20 minutes and nothing.... 4. Drinks order taken. 15 minutes before it arrived, in part... 5. Food comes: starters OK, here gos: Potato skins great - kids love them. Nachos: soggy in part, over grilled in others. half plate left. Bed of lettuce for nachos is huge, polar opposite of the guac. and salsa. 5. The balance of the drinks order arrives (does it really take 25 minutes to make 2 cocktails??). We had ordered 2 margaritas. Ordinary margaritas, specifically not frozen ones... which when they arrived were pinacoladas instead. Drinks were taken away to be replaced. 6. Main courses come: Kids fajitas are fine enough but the tortillas are so small its impossible to fold them. Duck salad is epic. Well done. Tostadas are not so epic: oh boy they're sweet, sticky, and on a bed of boiled onions which I'm sure were supposed to be fried or in some way made to taste great but it's just bitter. The combination is terrible. 7. Replacement cocktails finally arrive. Frozen. We send them back. 8. 15 minutes later: new margaritas arrive. Good. Thanks. As ordered but why did we arrive at 5.15 and not have the correct drinks until 6,30. I'm serious: an hour and fifteen minutes for 2 margaritas, which are mainly triple sec. 9. 6.50 pm we have waitress back again to ask about deserts... are we in a time warp? As we have to be at the cinema (just next door) at 7.15 we decide theres enough time to order 2 kids brownies, a beer and an espresso... Surely that's enough time... surely.... 10. 7.10 brownies arrive. 11. 7.15 beer arrives. 12. 7.20 espresso arrives. 13. 7.25 bill arrives... and it's wrong... Well I guess that's it. TGI fail I'm afraid. I so wanted TGI Friday to be a great night out. Atmosphere was good, it's fun and the staff are (mostly) smiling... Perhaps we just had a bad night...
Had a great time but service was slow.
Lovely meal, lovely atmosphere just as always :) our waitress Megan left a lovely note for us on our receipt which just made our night - thank you Megan!
Good atmosphere, nice food, but do have a bit of a wait for it to come to your table. Overall it’s a nice place, we’d definitely go again
Brill service, the waiter was excellent, definitely recommend the jack Daniels chicken, only down fall was at the end when trying to pay but they soon helped out Xxx
Really easy to book online through the app. A nice dining experience as always.
It was my grandsons 8th birthday , he asked for a steak , we were shocked that we had to pay £17.99 for it Food amazing just a shame a child's meal was so much
