Holly our waitress was amazing. My wife didn’t like her food but with no fault of the chef and they changed it for her for another dish with no charge. Amazing birthday dinner for my 10 year old . Would go again.
Shocking service from start to finish already sent in a complaint as over an hour we waited to be served at different intervals and it's unacceptable.
Starters ok but nothing special Crispy duck fajitas tasteless, tough and definitely not crispy! Great service, food very disappointing
I had a lovely birthday meal at TGI’s in Guildford. Lovely service and great atmosphere, as well as lovely food and drink!
Service was impeccable. Food was a little slow to arrive but it was a birthday so not too bothered. Food was lovely apart from warmed up sweet corn! Freshly cooked would have been nicer.
We waited 50 minutes for our mains for it to have hairs in it!! This was in two out of the four mains ordered on our table and some food was cold! Two main courses came out 10 minutes before the other two, which is always really annoying as you expect them to come out same time or within a couple of minutes of each other. Also one corn on the cob came out late, when was apart of the main course not ordered separately as a side.
We were so shocked that we would only have the table for a maximum of 2 hours. We felt very rushed and had I of known this before booking I don’t think we would have chosen this venue. One of my daughters desserts came out wrong so we sent it back to get swapped and then my other daughters one came out wrong but we just left it. It was a different flavour ice lolly and she didn’t even eat it as she didn’t like it. We were very disappointed as we had a lovely experience not so long ago. What a shame.
We had a our meal at 5pm however you had already sold out of my first choice of starter. For the amount of staff that seam to be around I felt that the service was very slow. I do t feel that I would rush back to this TGI venue in GUILFORD
Service was not great, they didn’t have any steak
Amazing service, staff very friendly would 100% recommend
Incredibly slow service, forgot orders. Took 2 hours just to have mains
We had come to Tgii 5 months ago and was disappointed in the food service etc, my son loves it so we thought we would try again I was really pleased the food was much better service was good with a lovely smiley waitress and I could see what I was eating as it was brighter!!!!!
We waited five minutes at the door for someone to greet us and take us to our table, it wasn’t busy at that time.
Initially it took us quite a long time to be seated and we had to find someone to help us but after we were seated our service was amazing! The young girl serving us was charismatic and bubbly and made our time very enjoyable. Unfortunately we did not get her name but we visited between 9-10:15pm on 4th June 2018 and sat in a booth near the entrance. Server was a small young female.
Service fairly slow and it was quiet. Food was standard.
Good food, good service. You know what you are getting. Cocktails are a bit pricey.
Been here a number of times, garlic bread was really disappointing. Had an extraordinarily high amount of garlic paste, our server didn't really know what to say, and and it was only when an other member of staff came over to say it "doesn't normally look like that" were we assured we weren't going crazy! The portion of ribs was quite small, but nice all the same. Service was quite slow, we think our waitress forgot about our drink and we had to ask to get it. Not sure whether we could come back in honesty, but would like to stress that we've always been happy on nights in the past, so may have been an off night!
Really disappointed in the service I booked here for my daughters birthday as in booking made for her and 5 friends. When I collected them they all said they had lovely food but how unfriendly the person that served them was. She kept asking them if they wanted the bill even though still eating and no fuss made that it was a birthday as in other times we have attended one of your restaurants they actually left and went to creams for pudding as was obvious from the waitress trying to rush them they wasn’t wanted in the restaurant. When they sat at table they should of been informed if table was needed by certain time for another party after although they informed me that a few empty tables so they couldn’t understand why the person serving made them feel this way Very disappointed with the service Mrs ward
Our server was really nice and polite. Unfortunately, lots of our first choices were sold out. Service was very slow, even though when we arrived the restaurant wasn't busy and had to wait a fair time between ordering drinks and them arriving. Starters came at a reasonable time after ordering - but mains took a long time. From previous visits, not as much choice on the menu, especially vegetarian options. The vegetarian choice had to be sent back as it was cold and not very appetizing. Ordered refill drinks but never had them refilled - had to ask!! Normally the staff is hot on refilling them on previous visits. Was very expensive (nearly £200 for lunch!) not sure if we will be back any time soon :( Which is a real shame as we used to love TGI's
Very slow service, being a bank holiday it was fairly busy. Food took ages to come out, things were missing and food wasn’t v hot. The waitress was lovely and a manager didn’t charge us for one of the meals but by the time we’d left we realised further food was missing! Not a very good day for TGI Guildford!
excellent meal as always, staff always wonderful in Guildford!!
Restaurant was very cold. Food was average at best. Ordered a sharing plate for starter but got no side plates. Daiquiri was incredibly watered down was half melted by time it was brought to the table. We won’t be in a hurry to come back.
For a large party the venue was perfect. The food came out promptly and no one had any issues with it. the staff were very friendly and accommodating and did everything they could to help us. I would highly recommend this venue for other large parties to eat at.
Dreadfully understaffed and it took nearly 2.5 hours for 6 people to have a meal. Weren’t given the correct menus- got them ourselves. Food was good when it eventually arrived- waited 50 minutes for starters! Waitress was not bothered when we complained and just said they were busy. Bill incorrectly calculated. The table next to us left, leaving their mains behind as they had taken do long
