The food we ordered was missing some of the ingredients mentioned in the menu But the service was great and very lively
Service was dreadful we had to wait a long time for our food which came out at different times to the point two members had eaten theirs by the time the other meal came out. The hate no cheese and not a lot on the menu which i thought was very poor in itself. Service was dreadful and staff kept forgetting drinks, food, sauces etc and we had to keep chasing to get it.
Nice evening, always enjoy the food. Bit sorry the drinks seem expensive but overall we enjoy coming here
I dine at TGI’s fairly often and normally receive excellent service but the last visit was a nightmare. We booked for 19:00 and were ignored at the door until 19:15. When we were finally seated and ordered, it took a further 35 minutes to receive our drinks, and only because we prompted that we’d ordered them. I would normally understand however the restaurant was very empty and we were seemingly ignored for most of the evening. We also ordered unlimited refill coke zeros but were never offered refills - I know that’s partly our responsibility to ask but when you’re eating, trying to then ask for refills would result in food being spat over the table and the waiter. I would still recommend TGI’s but this last visit was very poor service.
Absolutely disgusting service. Eating starter and main arrived .... no apology. Starter cold and not cooked properly.
Whilst the staff were friendly, the service was extremely slow and some drinks needed to be ordered twice. The table was left for long periods with empty plates. This was a shame as it took the shine off of my daughter's 16th birthday celebrations.
Bottle of prosecco was purchased but was warm when served to us. This was a Friday night and it was disappointing.
Well looked after from start to finish, great atmosphere, food was lovely and well priced. The birthday girl had a lovely time . Thank you
The manager was appealing it took hour and half to get our food when it arrived it was not correct. Two of my guests had to leave without eating as the food took so long. This was my 60th birthday celebration and was ruined by the poor food quality. To add insult to injury the manager at the end of the meal proceeded to tell us the problem was with us.
Service very slow I had to find someone so we could order a drink after being there 25 minutes. Many things on the menu they didn't have. I had to chase them again to get another drink. Had my 5 year old grandson with us he only had pasta his came out last. Pasta was dry as vertually no sauce on it. Garlic bread starter was burnt. Asked for another one came back burnt again dont think they actually changed it. One main course w should have been steak chicken and shrimp, no chicken ribs instead. Took plate away bought it back without the ribs said chicken would be out in a minute but had almost finished meal when chicken came out. Several drinks also unavailable. Won't be going back there.
One of my worst restaurant experiences. We were seated at 5:50pm. Nobody came over to take any orders( not even drinks) for 25mins, and that was after I had to go and find and ask a waitress. A waiter finally came over and said he wasn't even supposed to be waiting on tables but would take our order and ensure we have a good experience from now. Another waiter then turned up to take our order, despite the order already being placed by the first chap. Our drinks arrived finally, at the same time as our starters. After we finished our starters, we waited again for about 40mins before I got up again and went to enquire about our main course. The food then arrived, dry and burnt. I spoke to the manager who apologised, but offered no explanation about the shocking service apart from a 25% discount on the bill. All in all a very bad experience.
Service was good. Food was very poor for a TGI Fridays chain. I have been to many and the Guildford restaurant was very poor.
First time as my wife wanted for mother’s day! Took about 20mins to be seated even though it wasn’t full. Most of the food on menu not available we settled for very bland tasteless ribs. Starter was chicken wings which were cold. Only positive was a very friendly young Asian waiter who entertained my kids and engaged very well with the customers otherwise never again.
Terrible service led to a complaint being made
Service was very slow I appreciate it was a busy day however waiting probably around a hour for starters is outrageous
Upon arrival there was no-one to greet us and we had to wait, appeared to be no staff. A member of staff who had yet to start work and just walked in with his coat on saw us to out table. Food and drinks were brought out at different times with an unacceptable delay between 1st and last. The same mocktail orders tasted different. The restaurant wasn't even busy so goodness knows what it would be like when it was full. We asked for tap water whilst eating as the girls had finished their drinks and it took around 10 minutes to get some bu which time we had finished the meals. The restaurant has a general feel of being dirty and sticky. The female toilets were horrible, looked very old and the toilet bowels looked like they had never seen any bleach Went there for my daughters birthday for the mocktails and birthday song otherwise I would have gone to any other high street chain. The good thing was they did do lots of ballon animals/crown for the birthday girl. I wouldn't go back to TGI again, I was wary beforehand and my concerns were realised. Only reason i didn't complain at the time was we were on a tight timescale and had to get the birthday party guests back to their parents.
Really great time. Staff were more than helpful even throughout the whole time. Definitely coming back again soon!
Booked for 8:15 got sat at 8:45 food took ages to arrive and it was cold.not the best Friday night I have ever had.
Food was warm but tasted very nice but would of been nicer if hot
Poor service, waited over 40 minutes to have our order taken and then a further hour and 20 minutes before our food even arrived. The quality of the food was poor and orders of drinks was taken wrong. Won’t be coming again. Disgraceful.
The food was appalling. The burgers were overcooked and dry. The ribs had hardly any meat and no flavour couldn't eat the corn, no lettuce and tomato on the plate. We complained at the time.
We found the restaurant had got very tired and dirty looking. Toilets were very dirty. One of your waitress had ladders all the way up the back of her tights. Food very basic. Feel your over charging. There was no atmosphere, no music no nothing. Staff looked as if they really did not want to be there.
Very helpful waitress. Good service.
Music is always just a bit too loud to hear conversation
We have been here before and had great food and service but last night it was poor. We waited too long for the to be served and too long for the food. For example 30 mins for the pudding. There were bits missing from main meals and one of the cocktails had to be sent back. It got off to a bad start as the table we had reserved wasn’t ready and the staff seemed disinterested. It was over very disappointing.
