My starter arrived cold so had to send it back. We had to ask for cutlery. We were told we’d be brought plates so we could share our starters but they never arrived. Weren’t offered any sauces for main. I asked our waiter for mayo but it never arrived. Nobody asked if our food was ok or offered us any more drinks. Took ages to get someone’s attention to get the bill. Not worth £50.
Table was reserved yet had to wait 30 mins still and then certain food was run out. Can’t fault the service, just the time.
Had a lovely lady server that was very attentive 😊 I think her name way holly.
Poor service, poor food. Simply disappointing.
Really disappointing that there was no ‘on tap’ alcohol, we were a table of 19 and it put our bill up a considerable amount as we had to buy bottles of everything. Food and service as good as always.
Great service, lovely food. Only down side was they ran out of spoons so given a folk to eat the ice cream and had to drink the cocktails out of small wine glasses as had no clean ones. Waiter made us laugh tho so all food in the end
We had a blonde lady look after us on Monday night, she was smiley, attentive and patient! The cocktails were also really good!
Nice evening, although reasonably quiet when we arrived it looked like it had been a busy day. Waitress was tired but still professional, and served us with a smile. Floor was untidy but food was ok and the staff were friendly. 👍
amazing service from a lovely young lady. absolutely nothing was a problem and my 2 little girls loved her.
Really not a pleasant experience. Music much much too loud and I’m am by no means an old music hating fuddy duddy. An enormous party of the loudest people ever (even louder than the music, and that’s saying something) were placed next to us and we quite literally couldn’t wait to get out of there, we couldn’t speak to each other at all. No one could find any spoons for the children’s puddings. Our waitress seemed stressed. The commendable part was your ability to deal with allergies, can’t fault the care my allergic son got at all and I’m grateful for that but the over all experience was ruined by the loudness of both the music and huge party of people placed next to us.
Our waitress was fantastic and really made our night enjoyable
I ordered the new 12oz Texan steak medium rare, but I received a very thin ( less than a 1cm thick) steak which was well over cooked, my ribs were burnt too - I showed the server how overdone and burnt the meal was. Service was slow, the manager took 10% off but our server then got offended when we didn’t tip 10% back on - so he’d be receiving the benefits of the compensated amount? I don’t believe this money off really compensated for a meal either, which you priced at £25.99 - and quite honestly I wouldn’t have paid over £5 for the meal I received - my partner also had a 12oz steak cooked perfectly fine and actually looked like a 12oz steak weight too - so shows it was possible, just pure carelessness and laziness
The food was sub standard, waited too long between starters and mains to come out. Received the started and it was the wrong dish!!! Waited 15 minutes before our plates were cleared. Asked for the bill and that too was wrong. Food Items were added to the bill, which I sent back. Don't think we'll rush back!
Very friendly service, nice cocktails, food was good although the lobster mac and cheese was disappointing and I had to return my steak as it was so tiny and over cooked, there was no quibble though and they replaced it for me. Overall a great experience for my sons 10th birthday .
Apart from my boyfriend chicken was to dry everything was brilliant my son really enjoyed it
New guy serving us who needed more help- the venue was understaffed which did not help the new chap at all. Food was not great Chicken wings over cooked and chewy_ steaks also over cooked and Terrible portions/grade of meat. Very fatty / chewy /small We like TGIs as it a fun venue and we were celebrating a birthday but the quality is really dropping and prices do not reflect this
Our visit was for our sons 13th birthday which they made special with a balloon hat and sing song with cake , a great touch even at that age, I just wanted to embarrass him. Drinks unfortunately took along time which is always the case when we come , more staff is needed it wasnt even that busy.
Very loud music, staff could not hear what we were ordering had to keep repeating ourselves
Katrina at guildford centre you were great with customer service
I booked a table for my 30th, there was 20 of us. We were all looked after with such care. We were always made sure we had drinks and were OK. For a large number of people, we were served well, looked after and made a great effort to embrassed me by singing. Thank u again xx
Service has very slow table booked for half 6, turned up on time but didn't get our drinks until 7:15, the same time our starters arrived. At the end asked for the bill and after 15 minutes gave up and went to the till to get the bill and pay. Speed has been an issue when we've been before but this time it's put us off coming back.
We came for my sons 8th birthday and had such slow, forgetful poor service. There were 5 of us. 3 adults and 2 children. I booked using the app. My sons ordered the kids frozen yoghurt smoothie drink and we ordered drinks. They forgot one for my son who was the birthday boy. I gave it a few minutes in case she was going back to get it. Which she wasn't. So I asked for the drink again and it was over half an hour before it was brought out to him. The food was average. Burgers all dry. Wings were good. The kids wrap was a measly small portion. They then took a lifetime to clear the table. Firstly they tried to come clear it when we were still eating.. We said no and then when we had finished we sat unattended for a very long time. My partner went to the bar and ordered more drinks as everyone seemed too busy. On my booking I noted it was my sons birthday and we wanted the birthday song with dessert. Which I reminded the wait staff when they took dessert order. Deseert took over half an hour to come and no song. I requested AGAIN the song. By then kids had finished their dessert and were tired and bored and the song was sung to a tired little boy who had had enough. In total we were there nearly 3 hours! 3 hours for dinner with a 5 year old and 8 year old. And all the while there were only 4 other tables. I would hate to see it on a busy night. So so disappointed and regret now not going to Smith and western. And completely resented handing over money for such a disappointing evening.
Restaurant wasn’t busy but only one girl seemed to be serving and so therefore service was very slow, food was good - TGIs standard but the wait between ordering drinks (one cocktail came and was sent back because it didn’t even fill the glass and for the price you pay that’s quite ridiculous!!) then ordering food meant all drinks were finished before the food came, one of our group waited so long for ketchup to be bought out that everyone else had almost finished before she’d even begun. Just not worth the money - our waitress was good, doing as much as she could on her own (it seemed) like I said- just being the only person meant everything was slow !!! And there were plenty of staff around!
Fabulous waiter, very patient as we had a large party.made extra efforts for a 30th birthday celebration we were there for. Crazy, noisy kids that we had with us but they were so pleasant and helpful with keeping them calm especially whilst waiting for food to arrive.
Food was slow coming out and cold
