Service was very good, lovely waiter and manager. However (not the staff’s fault) they had run out of vodka and ciabatta.. this mean we needed to re-adjust both drinks and food orders. This was done swiftly by the waiter and therefore was still an enjoyable experience. However in the future the company should make sure to manage stock on common products like vodka to ensure they do not run out.
very disappointed from start to finish 1.ordered children's meal to then be told 30 mins later it wasn't available so had to order something else.2 My wife's meal was completely wrong when brought out so had to eat on my own ,untill hers came out again 3 my food came without gravy that was stated on menu. 4 my child meal was meant to come out with the starters but came out once we had finished them. I did speak to two different managers on two occasions during our visit. but left feeling very let down by the hole experience and will not be going back there again.
Went out for a Sunday treat, got there early and we're seated straight away with the high chair already at the table. Food arrived quickly and hot, service was very good and everyone came across very cheerful. Left with full bellies 👍🏻
Our waiter (David, I believe) was excellent - friendly and attentive.
I was a bit disappointed as I wrote on my booking form and mentioned as soon as I got to the restaurant that it was my boyfriends birthday and nothing was done about it. Other tables got sung happy birthday too and we were forgotten about. I did mention it again but still nothing was done about it. A part from that the food was good and so was the drinks
Considering the restaurant was practically empty, the food was disappointing. Three of the four dishes were served cold and one was burnt!! The staff, however, were very good and did offer a 25% discount which made it bearable. However, unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning to TGI's :(
Myself and 3 friends went to celebrate my 20th Birthday. Our waitress was Hayley who was wonderful and deserves to be rewarded for her amazing customer service.
We booked online but the list on the door hadn't been updated. They had run out of colouring sheets to keep the kids busy, which was needed as we waited 25 minutes before anyone came to take a drinks order. We then waited a further 15 minutes to get the drinks. The bottled beer was warm. Sent it back to receive another warm bottle. Service was very slow. The food was slow to come out. My youngest little one had a hamburger, which was chargrilled to death. She didn't eat it. I ordered the taco stack which was nothing special and the chicken in it was so dry. I didn't eat it. The others had ribs which were alright. We ordered 2 kids desserts, the same. The waiter brought one out saying the other was on it's way. Which caused an issue with the kids as to who got to get theirs first. Why not just bring them out together? This was our first visit to TGI as a family and we won't be coming back. We shall stick with Smith & Western which knocks the socks of TGI.
Unfortunately the tills broke dobwe had to wait to order drinks, then had to order manually. We were told that cards couldn't be taken and that we would have to pay cash. Food order of only mains taken manually and then part delivered. We were told that it would be 2 minuted for the remaining mains butafter 5 minutes those that had been served started eating food getting cold. Eventually the remaining plates came out but the first plates had been finished. It did taste very nice though and the staff were very apologetic and we could see that they were trying their best to keep things running smoothly.
Really slow service the restaurant was really quiet but I think this lead to the staff being too laid back. Took 1hr and 10 minutes to get our food and 15 minutes to get a drink. Food was good though.
Don’t go on your birthday unless you want them to sing at you.
Staff were amazing! Blake and Aaron top class
Service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, food was pretty standard chain food.
Terrible!! Reserved a table online an hour and a half before turning up to eat sat us down and gave us menus then came back and told us the kitchen was closed due to a leak! Didn’t even offer us a drink very disappointing
i went to your resturant for my wifes bday with 4 of my children, the food came out with things missing and in long intervals so we couldnt all eat together, the drinks where appaling and they didnt have the ingredients for half the things on the menu ! also out of the 5 or so staff only one had any sense while our waiters had no intrest !
The Gravy Seal burger is highly recommended. The starters are great, but could do with being slightly cheaper to be a full 10/10.
Service and food were fantastic just think prices are a little high but I would definitely go back.
Our waiter was lovely, very helpful. I’m allergic to certain foods and he was very helpful! When you have allergies the manager has to assist with prepping and delivering your food to you as part of their quality assurance. Would of course help if the manager checked the allergies before serving the food! Lol
Arrived at Restaurant to find it closed. They did not even ring to inform us of the closure.
The food came out in dribs and drabs, I had almost finished my main course before my wife received her meal. I only had a burger and it was under the hotplate for so long the lettuce sticking out the side of the burger was all dry and shrivelled and the burger bap was more like a piece of toast.
Awful, will never return here!
James, our server, was great! And the atmosphere was very family friendly. But the restaurant was cold and there were not enough spoons - we had to eat ice-cream sundaes with forks!
