The waitress was amazing. She was very attentive and spend time with the kids showing how to make balloon animals. My little boy bumped his head and she came over to make sure he was ok and offered ice. The service was great!
Family meal which was ok rather than excellent. We had duck fajitas which had the meat and veg served on a sizzling dish. We then waited 6 minutes before the flour tortillas etc were brought, only arrived then after we had to grab an elusive waitress.
A great place to celebrate a birthday. staff attentive and joined the celebration
We were sat next to a table with parents and a young child, the parents had put peppa pig on a tablet and it was turned up so loud so the child could hear it over the loud music, all I could hear throughout the whole meal was the same peppa pig episode played on repeat and I was the most irritating thing. I don’t think personal tablets should be allowed unless with headphones or on silent as it totally ruing our experience
Our server was very nice and extremely helpful. Everything was great!
Restaurant was busy and customers were being very understanding however it was aparant that staff looked flustered. We sat for over 15 minutes waiting for a drink order to be taken and when I went to the front of house girl who was looking at the table system on my approach to ask to be served she replied in a very short manner and off attitude stating that they were just coming to us. For the rest of the night she appeared to be giving the table dirty looks which was uncomfortable for those sat in her eyeline.
I took my parter for lunch in your fort Kinnaird restaurant, i had made a reservation. We orderd the shared cheesy nachos to begin with, they barly had any cheese on them and were drowned in dips and salad, i was however satisfied with how quickly they rectified and apologised. After this we had orderd 2 burgers. I had the warrior which was nice chips tasty too. My partner however had the surf n turf burger which was terrible, the burger was dry and burnt, parts of it were like like chewing stones. The macaroni was very dry and overpowering. The shrimp was also overcooked and dry. Onky good thing about the meal was the small portion of chips. 100% will not be back.
The gentlemen Sam who served us was brilliant and food was nice
Personally I thought that the music was a bit too loud but I appreciate that this is a matter of personal preference. The service was a bit slow as the waiter seemed to have a lot of tables to deal with. He was very pleasant and helpful
Had a great night celebrating my daughter's birthday. Our server Chloe was so nice as was the rest if the staff. Can't Waite to come back. Thank you TGI Friday
Fantastic day!! Amazing food fab staff fab cocktails!!!
Always like using your Restaurant always great service and great food.. Nice new menu
Service was terribly slow, it was busy but I’ve been when it’s busier but for some reason it was dreadful. we were brought desserts twice which we didn’t order, and the waiter tried to argue it was our order! In addition to that, the music was exceptionally loud and even a waitress commented on how she could hardly hear us.
After notifying staff on arrival and on booking that it was my mother in laws birthday, our waiter then approached our table and announced he would have to embarrass her by singing happy birthday to her at some point, to which she was very excited. However no such thing happened, we waited absolutely ages for our food, my neice and son had to wait so long for food that I asked for a kids drawing pack, to which I only received one and was advised they “shared” the pack. We spent over 130.00 pounds on food that took SO LONG to arrive without even a happy birthday to my mother in law who is having brain surgery this week, hence why we decided to celebrate her 50th a few days early, as in all honesty she may not be here for her next birthday. I get the staff are busy but they did have time to sing happy birthday to 2 other tables whilst we waited for our food. The whole experience was poor to say the least, and spoiled what should have been a fun and positive night. There wasn’t even as much as an apology from The waiter who had decided to tell my mother in law she would be made a big deal of. Won’t be wasting my money here again, frankly the food is over priced and the staff are too busy to even stop and ask how our food was.. I would honestly recommend never going to TGI Fridays to anyone.
This wasn’t the best experience of TGI’s. Our starters didn’t arrive till 7:30pm an hour after the reservation time. Our main courses had sat on the pass for a while as the honey mustard dip was warm and had a skin over the top. The young waiter was run off his feet. A busy night and another large party in at the same time who’s food all went back.
The service was terrible, food was cold and was sent back. There was duck bones and duck on the children’s cheese and tomato pizza. We did not have starters so ended up waiting an hour for food. This meal was for my daughters and fathers birthday. My daughter who is only 11 years old actually said at the table that she had made the wrong choice coming to TGI for her birthday. The meal was free of charge in the end due to the manager taking over. I will never go back. The app has been deleted from my phone.
Wait time for after meal Cocktail was too long, but drinks were removed from final Bill.
The staff and service was perfect however the food I feel is very overpriced for what you get and furthermore the fillet steak is tiny and the loaded fries aren’t worth the upgrade.
First please let me make this very clear, the staff are LOVELY, they are really friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and attentive. The thing that really lets this whole place down is the food. The menu is covered in incredible pictures of juicy succulent dishes and what arrived was dry and lacklustre. We frequent many independent bar/restaurants who charge less for incredible artisan dishes of exceptional quality. In comparison to my first ever TGI Friday experience in 2000 where I had one of the most delicious meals of my life, I must say I was hugely disappointed. We had to send the pasta alfredo back because it was too dry, and our kids meal was bereft of the baked beans and fresh carrot/cucumber sticks the menu promised but it was a busy Saturday and we had to wait a wee while for our food so we didn’t make a fuss. They did kindly take the pasta Alfredo off our bill but I was quite offended that the manager did not acknowledge the poor quality of the dish and instead just defended it by saying it’s not for everyone. We are familiar with the dish and it should not be effectively dry pasta with parmesan.
Birthday celebration.table of 10. Waited a full 30 minutes before someone took drink order. Steak was ordered medium but was overcooked and tiny! Didint get the salad that was offered with it and had to send it back! Fair enough it was taken off the bill, peoples food all came at leadt 5 minutes apart so people were having to start while others still had no food!! When it was time for the cake, which was a surprise. the waitress came to the top of the table and asked one of our guests will we bring the cake? Rather than speak directly to me the person who made the booking! Just as well the guest she asked wasnt the birthday boy!! Wouldnt go back again.very busy and not enough staff! Also when we cut the cake the side plates were filthy, covered in food from not being cleaned properly in dishwasher, the waitress herself, took them back and brought other ones!!!
Service was brilliant staff were very friendly.
Food was late. Gave us the wrong order. It was taken off the bill but having to wait nearly 50 minutes for starters is still too long. Don’t think staff really knew what to do, mostly singing happy birthday and staring into space when food was getting cold. Would not come back in a hurry at all.
Steak very chewy!
Booked for a birthday but the staff didn’t know or acknowledge this when we were there! What’s the point asking in the booking if u are not doing anything with the information? Table we were given wasn’t set properly event tho we booked it had obviously just started to be cleaned!
Our server Georgia was an absolute delight. Always smiling and helpful. Give her a pay rise! She is worth her weight in gold.
