We had to leave and go next door... firstly we were squashed into the smallest table, my dad who has a bad hip couldn’t sit down because there simply was no room. I’m very disappointed TGI is normally very good but this particular one needs a refit badly
I booked at table online for my birthday, after me and my family had our meals and drinks we told the man serving us that it was my birthday and we thought he was gonna come back to sing happy birthday with a slice of cake but instead he gave us the bill to pay, so we payed and left
We ordered from the Christmas menu which should have been £22.99 each but was charged full amount which unfortunately I did not notice at the time. I have complained and I’m waiting for a response.
Was quite dissapointing. Too loud. Also service was very slow and waited a long time for drinks. When are you also going to have the beyond meat burger as it’s 2018 and the menu in general is very unhealthy.
We have our Christmas party here every year for 40 people but this will be the last.... Not enough staff on to serve us although the guy that did serve us tried his best Considering it was Xmas and the restaurant was laid out with crackers and party hats the music was all Rock and dont see the point
Very good. Julie
In all honesty it was so comical it was hard to get mad ! Our first experience was with a Mojito that the bar tender pulverised anything that was green into the bottom of the glass until it looked like stewed cabbage and tasted how it looked. We were a large party of 23 so you always expect a little delay and the odd error but here goes with regard to the meal........ Due to a couple of fussy eaters there were 3 starters that was asked to be plain (no sauce) this failed to happen even when the food was pre-ordered a week before and these were not exchanged, one poor chap finally got his starter about 2 minutes before the main course came out, which subsequently was about an hour or so after everyone else's starters. The main courses arrived which were served up over a course of about 20 minutes so you had people finishing their meals as others just started (again pre-ordered a week earlier) Again the fussy eaters received their meals with sauces ect that were again ordered plain. There were meals missing potatoes completely, now some 2 hours and 45 minutes after being seated and 1/2 of the 23 party leaving we started to beg for our deserts (Again pre-ordered) which due to it now being gone 11 only 4 people wanted them! I think panic then descended in the kitchen because they had literally run out of deserts, the Warm Apple & Blackberry sundae Ice cream swirled with biscotti pieces, warm apple & blackberry and topped with whipped cream was literally a glass of whipped cream.......... And the attitude of the staff when you finally get around to complaining about the deserts was an absolute joke with nobody wanting to take ownership! Would I recommend NO! Will the regular users of TGI's from our party be returning... I doubt it! ...... TGI's will take your money and run at the sign of any issues. May of helped if they had more staff rather than one waiter cleaning tables, taking drinks orders, serving food all on his own!
I arrived early with friends and we sat at the bar, only 1 person serving and had to wait 20 minutes for drinks which seemed to be the same for others as there was a lot of complaining. in general there seemed to be a shortage of staff as the whole night went the same way. this was not the type of service I have had at other TGI's in the past and spoilt our works Christmas party.
Have been tgi for years love the food and drinks. Sadly this time the couldn’t make my drink right. It had no flavour and tasted like it was water. Had to return two of them as they tasted the same. Maybe the sugar tax got T.G.I as well... who knows.
The wait was very long and I had children under 6 who were very hungry. They also took 10 minutes to get our drinks.
Your manager saved the day Food and drinks forgotten about Two burgers order one with tomato one without, the one without took an extra 10 minutes to reach the table Additional Fries salad and drink either came almost when we had finished eating or never came at all even after mentioning repeatively that we haven’t received it. Poor!!
Great place to eat. Love the atmosphere
Great service, great food
Always great service and food is great as always and staff are friendly and helpful.
Some of the food was cold but great service
Our main course was brought out while we were still eating our starter. The waiter offered to take it back but we didn't want it reheated so we kept it, by the time we ate it it was cold. The air conditioning was on full blast and we were so cold we had to eat with our coats on. We asked 3 times for it to be turned off but nobody did. I asked for diet coke with no ice and it turned up full of ice. There were 2 items on our bill that we had not had, bumping it up by ten pounds. If my friend had not noticed it and challenged it we would have been overcharged by ten pounds.
Service was generally ok. But a waitress accidentally dropped one of our glasses of water across the table and wet my husbands trousers. Totally get it was an accident and they did apologise. But I wanted a new table as it was wet including slightly the seats. They just made us wait while they dried it with a cloth. The floor continued to be wet. Also, my husband had to sit in wet trousers and nothing was taken off the bill as a goodwill gesture. This was my 49th birthday meal too so put a dampener on the evening.
The service provided by Jimmy and the other members of staff were outstanding, thank you all very much. Jimmy is an asset to your team at TGI's, he was friendly, polite and very accommodating to our needs.
one of our meals arrive cold and had to be sent back. The portions were small and not value for money at all. Quality of the food poor. Chips not fresh. all round very disappointing. We had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated even though we could see many empty tables. We had my 78 year old gran with us for a treat and we had to sit her down and wit near a cold doorway.
very nice staff
easy to reserve table great food and service
Tgi Enfield has gone down hill over the years. Staff have a bad attitude as if they do not want to be there. Staff do not provide a good service and do no check if everything is okonce served. We did not get cutlery and had to take cutlery from other tables. Our waiter did not come back to our table for a long period of time.
Lovely restaurant. Great food :-) Staff could be a little more attentive but all in all a great restaurant
Service is usually disappointing
I visited the store on the 8th December for a late lunch with my sisters. Upon arrival, I asked for a table with chairs as we did not want a booth due to it being too tight for us. Was taken around the restaurant and showed two tables that were too small for 3 people. Finally we combined two tables of two and were seated. About 10 minutes later we were asked to move as 2 couples had reserved table of 2. Looking around, there were many tables of two that could have been given to the couples but instead they made us move which was embarrassing and rude. We were then told to sit in a booth which is not spacious enough for the 3 of us. I do not see why they needed to move us and I am very disappointed in the service. To make matters worse, for the entire meal no one sat on those tables and when we left we saw a group of 3 sitting in the very seats we wanted. Defined will not be back and will not recommend to anyone.
