Shocking!! Waited 1hour 15 minutes for starters and then was was forgotten and waited another 15 minutes. Mains were all cold. Sent chips back waited 20 minutes still no chips and a main completely missing. Normally go to the Bluewater TGI or London where we have never had any problems. Really disappointed
Seats were uncomfortable. Sides too small
Didn't like the unannounced chilly on the sweet corn or the onions. Bit noisy till the children left but will know not to go that time on a Sunday again
Great food, drinks are quite expensive and staff were sometimes lacking but all tojnd great night and good food with good atmosphere.
I ordered a frozen margarita and it tasted like water now I know it's made with ice but at my first sip shouldn't taste like that especially as I was drinking a tequila based drink. Atmosphere was fantastic as usual. Service was excellent until they brought eveyones food out apart from mine as they was to busy doing a birthday cake. The reason for the 3 stars for value for money is because I have been coming here for a few years now but the last couple of visits I have been disappointed In which it makes me not want to come back again.
Whole place needs a refit. Toilets horrible. 4 womens but only one usable. Food ok. Khloe lovely but very rushed. Not enough serving staff.
Very long wait time even after reservation, no one was standing at front to check tables inside. Everyone one was standing like waiting for free food inside
The food is always really good and the drinks/ cocktails are enjoyable. However, like other times when we had visited, despite the servers being very pleasant and obviously trying their best under the circumstances, it always seems like they are under staffed which means there is such long gaps between taking your orders and being served meals where you are left waiting for your food between courses.
The food was very poor quality. We had to speak to the waitress about 2 of the dishes as they were not as described on the menu.
Lovely food!! Definitely recommend
Moesha was amazing! So kind and courteous and her hospitality was amazing. What a sweetheart
Went for a fun night out with friends as we hadn’t been for ages. It was a decent night for us but we were absolutely gutted to find out the wheel behind the bar had been removed as we were looking forward to having a laugh with it, more than we were looking forward to the meal if I’m honest.
My waiter Danielle was excellent
Your staff went above and beyond to help with my Daughters small birthday party. She had a fantastic time and her friends had a great day. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
Appauling service but acknowledged by the manager and dealt with very well. Was not charged as he said it was completely unacceptable. Our ticket order was going for over an hour before being brought out to us. Celebrating my daughters 7th birthday so a bit of a let down!
Good environment but the service was quite slow and we were adviced straight away that many of the chicken food was off the menu (i don't eat beef) so my choses were narrowed.
My family and I were served by a young lady of the name Moesha, she was kind, patient and very helpful and she seems to enjoy the job she has at the moment. Compared to other experiences in TGI, I would go back and be served by her happily, again. This young lady's professionalism was on point. I would recommend her to anyone.
We were very disappointed with the food. Apart from our food being cold and the ribs burnt. We ordered started that never even came. It was a large party but we won’t be visiting again.
Not really impressed, starter was served without plates, table not even cleared and main turned up, Requested drink not available. Told one of the meals not available as run out of steaks, it then turned up dry & poorly presented. Duck in fajita meal dry and diificult to cut up. Overall a real disappointment. Our waitress was trying her best in a bad situation,
How would i describe this.. i thought what better idea than to book tgi fridays on a friday, the clue is in the name however what turned out, was It was below alright. The ultimate cocktails had so much ice i may as well ordered an ultimate water. I ordered drinks then had to go find the waitress who was playing hide and seek because i could rarely ever find her to chase up my drinks as i had waited over 20 minutes for them. I ended up getting my starters before my drinks which was abit backwards but fortunatly i could wash my food down with jack daniels glaze.. thinking about it there was probably more alcohol in the glaze that the ice bucket cocktails which then followed. By now i was so thirsty and the 10 quid cocktails had so much ice it took about 2 sips untill my drink was gone, i thought i could be clever with the next order and not ask for much ice but the problem again is my waitress was no where to be seen so i asked a waitress dealing with a different section. I ordered 2 more with less ice but these still seemed watered down to me. I ordered duck fajitas which turned up again before my drinks and it the duck was very pink so i just tried to eat the crispy bits. Unfortantly the duck got the better or me and was a bad decision as when i got home the toilet saw more of me than the girlfriend. 83 quid later and having an upset stomach i felt robbed but then again i was in croydon so i guess that is a standard friday night for most people. Next time i will stick to turtle bay or nandos as it is nothing special and the alternatives are cheaper It was not particularry busy either. Will not be in a rush to return.
We were really disappointed with the service. Our food came out and we had no cutlery. Our waitress took about 10 mins to bring cutlery by this time the food was cold. Others around us also complained.
I never complain about the wait for food to come, but the service we received was absolutely disgusting. We sat down at 7pm and had to wait about 20 minutes before the waitress took our order. The drinks then came in dribs and drabs after about 15 minutes. Two starters arrived after another 30 minutes and about 10 minutes later after asking where our other starter was, that arrived along with our main meals.
Service was below standard, waitress was rude, argumentative and even the smallest of requests seemed to be met with disgust. I hadn’t been to the restaurant for a while due to poor service, gave it a second chance but this was thrown back at me. Will not be returning and will be letting friends and family know of my experience. TGI Fridays was previously a favourite of mine and reserved for special occasions, it is now no more than an average restaurant where service definitely doesn’t come first.
