Our waitress was great, food was great, really enjoyed my daughters 18th family meal here. I think from family feedback the food took far to long to come out, i appreciate it was a large table but we did wait a long time for main meals and deserts to come out. Apart from that very nice time we had.
Excellent food, fantastic service. I'll be coming again.
We had our table booked for 18:30 as we had a reservation for 20:30 at Hollywood Bowl. It took the whole two hours to be served a few drinks and our main course. The restaurant did not appear that busy and we were offered no explanation for the delay. The food was tasty but service was far too slow. Which was disappointing!
Professional and friendly service. Great for my daughters 9th birthday.
Had to wait 45 minutes for meal, when it came only 2 of the 3 mains turned up,after chasing various staff, rest of meal plus sides turned up 25 minutes after the other mains, spoilt a birthday surprise for my wife. If this is the standard of service perhaps not going there again is our best option, really disappointed that the birthday was spoilt.
Great food, great service!
It was extremely cold in the restaurant, it is usually the colder end of cool but yesterday was extremely cold.
After waiting for ages for our main course to arrive my husband ordered a medium steak which came out extremely rare he then waited a further 20 minutes by which time the family had already eaten their meals to receive another rare steak. Very disappointed
Arrived at booked time to be told our table was going to be 15 minutes as “there’s a lot of plates to clear”. Service slow and were given a child’s menu & puzzle pack for our third adult (0 children in attendance). A/C unit blew directly at half the table so two of the group were cold for the entire meal. We decided to share our starter and were given two side plates - server said she’d get a third for us but this appeared 10 minutes later along with the other starter, after we’d finished the already served starter. Corn cob tasted like plastic, though the rest of the mains were ok. Servers, who kept walking past the table, took 15 mins to clear after we’d finished; they then had to be asked twice for the bill which took a further 20 minutes to arrive. Over 2 hours for the whole experience (& this is having asked to have starters and mains all together). Not impressed.
Our food came and sat in front of us getting cold whilst we waited for cutlery. Nightmare with kids who wanted to start eating! We asked 3 members of staff for cutlery before getting some. The kids beans looked dry as a bone. They'd been nuked to death! Not edible for the kids, or anyone! Had to keep looking for staff for drinks, for the bill, for the card machine. Weren't asked if we wanted a pudding so we didn't bother having one there.
The music was louder than usual. We couldn’t hear each other speak. There seemed to be a shortage of staff. My drink came out 15 mins after my boyfriends. Our food wasn’t as good as usual. My burger was dry and cold. Nobody checked in with us when we were eating. Didn’t bother with a dessert due to service.
Lovely night with friends with delicious food to top it off.
Food is super as normal and the new triple jack burger is the best burger yet 👍
Cold food and poor service
Far too busy, loud and cramped. Despite booking a table, we were required to wait for 15 minutes before being sat. We weren't provided with cutlery until half way through our starters as the restaurant had run out of clean knives and forks. Food and service were generally slow - it took 1hr40 for a two course meal. Overall an off-putting experience.
Staff were lovely & friendly & nothing was too much trouble
Service was very slow and distracted. Left with dirty plates and empty glasses for a very long time. We ended up asking for bill at same time as desert. Not good with young child
The service was great but our meal was ruined entirely by a hen party that screamed consistently to the point you couldn’t hear anything but them. I appreciate they were celebrating but it overtook ours and from what we could see others dining experience
Service was very slow, waiter charged us for a drink which we didnt recieve
Had a wonderful meal for my birthday. Good food, all of my family enjoyed it, quick service and a nice atmosphere
Great food and service.
My family and I visited the restaurant and had high hopes as we had travelled from Plymouth and rarely get to visit a TGI Friday's restaurant. The service was ridiculously slow, people around us were waiting for ages, we waited ages for service, for drinks, for food, the gap between main course and dessert order being taken was ridiculous. I appreciate it was busy but we have been to other TGI Friday restaurants with queues out the door and had a better overall experience. A drink was forgotten, a dessert was forgotten, the chicken on the 3 stack burger was forgotten so it came out afterwards. A bit of a let down overall unfortunately.
10/10 on the food 1/10 for the service, consistently
Fantastic attentive fun considerste staff
