Server was extremely busy so service was slower than normal. 15 minutes for a drinks order. 20 minutes to make a child's milk shake dessert
The music was so loud we weren't able to have conversations. The drinks order wasn’t correct (but corrected without issue) the food was not great, mine was cold, the kids pasta dry and the kids wraps were hard. Very disappointed
Took over an hour for our main to arrive from point of ordering.
Service good. Salmon main course overcooked . Nachos starter overpriced.
Always great food, great service and considering it was a Saturday evening and busy there was hardly any waiting time for the food to come out.
We usually have hot food and quick service but the opposite happened on this occasion my son actual went to sleep whilst waiting for his food as it took well over an hour to arrive at our table! Service was adequate but not exceptional like we expect from tgi fridays
Great restaurant, just the music is too beaty and loud, makes me hurry up when I eat. Not sure if that's intentional or not.
The restaurant was busy and the food suffered. Ribs were tough and at first we thought they were undercooked but actually they just weren’t very nice. Cajun shrimp pasta was dry and quite tasteless. The server made an error with the order which meant the starters took an age to come and then the mains didn’t arrive together.
Even though I put in comments needed space for high chair this was not the case at the first table, the second table we were moved to (the round one up by the bar) was up the stairs and once sat at it was very wonky and not stable. A drink got spilt because of this and chips from one of the meals ended up everywhere. The waiter did change the chips.
Great as unusual
Such a happy place to dine in
Chloe was absolutely fantastic and made sure that me and my friend were happy at all times. An absolute credit to TGI’s Cribbs.
Had a great meal for my sons birthday, served by a lovely waitress called Cerys.
Slow service!! We were there from 7pm-9.30pm and that was only for 2 courses!! Waitress was lovely and not her fault. Don’t understand why it was so slow!!
Awful experience. Everything late or forgotten. I’m still waiting for a refill! Untrained staff with absolutely no idea. Clear management problem at this restaurant that needs to be sorted. We couldn’t wait to leave. Will never go there again.
Only thing that saved an awful evening was the waiter
We have been very loyal customers for around 18 years! Myself and my wife are still so disappointed in the garlic bread we used to crave your original one! Now I can’t bring myself to have one, truly. Sunday felt unusually quiet and a lack of atmosphere (strange for a TGI) Our waiter didn’t seem up to the usual TGI standard (nice but just not TGI!!!!!)
Kept having to ask for cutlery and my ribs arrived luke warm and had to be returned.
Great meet up with friends prior to the cinema
Our server (sorry we forgot her name, her last day is Tuesday and she is off to uni) was wonderful. Chatty and interesting and was quick with our service once our order had been taken even though it was busy Thank you
Food: My daughters tomato pasta was tasteless, she ate one piece and then no more. I told the waitress, she said "oh" and walked away. I asked for a popcorn brownie sundae as did my sister. After waiting over 40 minutes for our desserts the waitress arrived with our desserts and said "there no popcorn left so I put in a bit of extra brownie". I explained that I would not have ordered that dessert had I have known, I love popcorn and didn't particularly want a brownie sundae. The waitress huffed and said "oh really you're not going to have it" when I explained that was not what I wanted. She should have told me and gave mea chance to order a new dessert prior to preparing me an inadequate substitute. I'd also like to point out that there is multiplex cinema next to the restaurant, if the restaurant really were focused on great customer service in sure it would have been easy to source some popcorn from the cinema. For all of our courses and then finally the bill we had to wait and ask several times to be served. I've been to your restaurant many times as you may be able to see from my booking history (?) however this is the first time I have complained. It was my daughters fifth birthday and I was so so disappointed with the experience. When the bill finally arrived after asking no less than 4 times for it the popcorn sundae was still on the bill, I had to ask for it to be removed. The tasteless pasta was also on the bill but as I'd lost the will to live by this point and it was much later than planned due to waiting so long for everything I didn't pursue this complaint. Absolutely abysmal service and whilst some of the food was tasty and acceptable some of it was of an appalling standard. I hope you use this review to implement some lessons learned and to prevent the same happening to others who are spending potentially a lot of money on what they hope to be a nice experience only to be very dissatisfied. You are welcome to contact me to discuss the issues I experienced. Until I have some reassurances that processes have changed me and my party of 12 will not be returning. Many thanks, Stephanie Partridge 07788946812
Service was incredibly slow. Despite ordering our deserts alongside the main they took 45 minutes to arrive. Staff seemed more interested in chatting in a big huddle than serving us. We had to go ask our server for the bill after she had been stood chatting holding it for 15 minutes. We were there for 2.5 hours despite only having two courses and missed our film as a result.
The garlic bread was only just warm and the Texan was missing the Corn on the Cob. Nachos sharer ordered as main was brought out with the starters despite specifying it as a main, they were taken back but they missed sending them out again with the main so we then had to wait for them. The server was excellent.
Really poor gluten free menu. Told gluten free rolls for burgers had run out because they come in small batches. Perhaps you should order more in!!! Then it was explained that fajitas were served with lettuce as a wrap as there is no such thing as gluten free wraps. If I can buy them in a supermarket then you should be able to provide them in your restaurant! It took over an hour for our food to arrive (the table next to us arrived half an hour later than us but had their food before we did) The steak that was ordered was tough and cold and had clearly been left waiting to be served for a long time. Won’t be going back.
A very dissapointing visit to TGI Fridays for my sons birthday. Limited menu choice, over an hour wait for our main meals (other guests arrived after us and finished their starters and mains before our main dishes arrived), some meals arrived hot others cold and to top it all no happy birthday song for my son (despite mentioning this as a special request on the booking form). Without asking a 40% discount on our meals was granted but this in no way compensated for what was intednded to be a happy and fun family evening. Sorry TGI Fridays, but if you want to attract and retain new customers then you need to work a lot harder on the whole customer experience.
