Starter was not as described on the menu and under cooked. Cheesy garlic bread was stone cold. Over 1 hr wait between starter and mains.
Second visit in a month and both visits have been far from satisfactory. On this visit we were very disappointed. Service was slow drinks were forgotten. Food was mixed up with other tables food. Food was not up to the standard we have come to expect and was not worth the price we paid. The only possible was the waitresses friendly nature. Will not be in a rush to visit again. Very disappointed and very bad value for money
It was awesome food was great and 3 courses for £21.99 was amazing value! Bar staff abit sparse and slow but table waiting staff very happy and attentive! Lovely girl! Food was fab!
Was a great evening with a great atmosphere as always, service was top notch too
V disappointed, after being seated were ignored for 10-15 mins, then diet coke not available, then the beer we ordered was not available, then server struggled to find enough cutlery, then a long time until dirty plates collected. all very poor and very disappointing, I wont be back
We made a reservation and when we arrived they had given our table away to someone else, even though we arrived on time. Once we finally got our table the service itself was good
Myself my wife and our daughter came to dine. Starters took 35 mins to come out then only one arrived the other two came 15 mins later. Two of us had the Christmas meal all the trimmings, very poor the stuffing was mushy and the seasonal veg turned out to be undercooked squash, aubergine and pepper not what I would call seasonal veg. On the plus point the desserts were good.
Really poor evening. Manager did her best after the issues and saved us money but the night was ruined by this time.
Have eaten at the many times and never had any issues. But this Saturday was different. Everything seemed to take a while. We were shown out or table and it took 10 minutes to get Christmas menus and drink order. Then 15 minutes for waiter to return to take our food order. Food was great but ended up leaving with dessert in a takeaway box due to slow service and food delivery.
Food was good, my medium rare stake was cooked abit too long as was more medium to medium well done. Some of the meals didn’t come out all together and we had to wait abit for them to be brought to us. Over all though we had a really good time and would come back.
Really disappointed....an hour wait before we even had starter then a long wait to get not very warm main Such slow service and being told ages after ordering that some drinks and food no longer available
Extremely slow service , very loud off putting music , expensive food , cold food , below average meals , appalling kitchen service ( this is coming from someone who NEVER complains, but I had to this time as the whole dining experience was a shambles )
Absolutely shocking visit. Won’t be returning, not just to this outlet, but to any TGI’s! Very poor food, abysmal service (even being lied to by a waiter and proving him wrong to the manager), extremely slow. Two plus points-we arrived early and were seated early after a short wait, and the staff did their birthday song for my daughter which she loved, appreciated both these points, but damage was already done.
TGI’s at Cribbs is always very good.
Food didn’t seem as good as previously
Service was slow considering it was fairly quiet and took a long time even to get refills
We were sat. Long wait for food, no cutlery on table so we had to ask for some, Food wasn’t up to standard dry and the sauce wasn’t mixed properly And powdery. we had to wait a while for food so didn’t want to ask for something else we’ve ate here once before and didn’t have a problem
Excellent steak as always!
We booked as a party of 11 for 8:30pm. Being a regular diner of parties this size its obvious we are going to have a slightly longer wait for our food - that's acceptable. What we do not expect is a vegetarian being served chicken! He didn't want to make too much of a fuss because he is new to our work and is rather shy, but this is absolutely outrageous and caused him massive distress! Yes you took his meal off the bill but because of the mix up he then had to eat the replacement meal on his own as it took a while to cook his replacement. A company this large I do not expect that level of clumsiness and stupidity. The waitress was nice and did her best but again, its not acceptable to serve chicken to a vegetarian. There are many other big brands within the area that we have been to before and have never experienced this before. Its extremely disappointing this happened and it has put us off from coming back again.
Great service and the food is always fab but it could do with being a bit warmed as it was quite chilly and we all ate with our jackets on
Using the booking system online was quick and easy, took all the hassle of looking through the menu to decide on the night! Just which cocktail to have! My only criticism was my dessert came with cream when I'd asked for fresh fruit salad and commented that I was dairy free. It was rectified, but the others had polished theirs off in the meantime so I ate on my own! The brownie wasn't nice from the girl that had it.
I do like TGIs but I do have to say £10:85 for two glassss of wine is appalling
We had an extremely dissapointing evening. The only highlight was our waiter who worked tirelessly to try and resolve the myriad of errors and mistakes during our visit.
I have been many times to tgi fridays and last couple of times the service was not great due to the fact that the food took so long to arrive at our table nearly an hour and a half and then my daughter's was last.children should be served first!
