Service took too long. Some of the main meals were cold upon arrival. Atmosphere was poor. One meal that was delayed came out dry and over cooked. Didn’t bother with dessert. Waitress was attention and did her best.
My son is Autistic and required a quiet space - staff were absolutely fantastic - I couldn’t have asked for anything more - I would most definitely recommend!!!
Menus were sticky food left on menu we were still eating our starters when the waiter came out with our mains and then asked if we were ready for them while holding our meals in his hand we felt forced to say yes and rushed the restaurant was not busy enough for such rushed service feel disappointed on this occasion
Always fantastic service and amazing food, what more could you ask for!
Our server, Sam C, was outstsnding.
It took around 30 minutes for somebody to take our food order. We had our starters fairly quickly but our mains took roughly an hour, after 45 mins a waitress asked if we were still waiting for our mains to which we said yes, it took another 15 mins for it to appear. When we wanted more drinks we struggled to get anyone’s attention, eventually when we ordered them they then brought over one but not the other. They must have realised the level of service as they took our drinks off the bill as an apology. The staff all seemed to be gathering chatting near the kitchen area rather than being out amongst the tables.
Food was over done, sat under the hot plates for a while as a number of sauces had a skin like film over the top of them. Our table had no cutlery even though it was a reservation, we had to get our own cutlery from different tables. Drinks took a long time to come and when they did we had 2 of the same drinks come over. Service was extremely slow even though it was quiet.
Very disappointing after many visits
To charge 99p for about 7 shavings of cheese is a crime!! Total rip off for the smallest portion of cheese to go with fajitas that you used to provide?!?
The waiter was really great for the first half of the meal, even made balloon shapes for the kids. Then the restaurant got busy and there were loads of Birthdays and so he had a lot to deal with. We waited ages for the plates to be cleared and waited so long for the desert menu we decided to get the bill and eat ice cream at home. It took a bit of time for the bill so we got our coats on ready and then they came over and did the Birthday thing. We were in such a rush to pay and get the kids home we forgot a bag but the waiter spotted it and ran into the car park with it for us. So a bit of a mix of bad with waiting but great in some aspects
Decor is nice but it was really cold! Food was ok. Waitress was good but didn't ask if our food etc was ok. Nothung to write home about.
It was lovely food
Had a nice time.
I ordered a coke, it never came, I had to ask again, I ordered salmon you ran out, I order prawns as a replacement they were battered, the mashed potato with the meal was inedible and I had to order some chips, I ordered an other coke and again it never came and I had to ask again. Shockingly bad food and service.
We were a party of 14 and had a table booked for 3pm, we weren't seated until 3.30 and was offered a round of drinks as an apology for the wait. Once we were seated it was then a further half an hour before our food order was taken at which point we had still not had our drinks and when they did come out some were wrong or missing. Once our food came out at 4.45 my 10yr old nephew was left waiting a further 10 minutes after everyone else for his. The team we good with my daughter who's birthday it was, they brought out the cake and sang which she loved. Once the bill came out we had to ask for the drinks to be taken off because this hadn't been told to the waitress who took over our table. This being said the staff were friendly and did what they could but it was a long time to be there as we had young children in the party. We didn't leave until 6pm.
Queuing long at bar. Ran out of coolers for wine. A lot of food out of stock had to change what we wanted to eat. This open seven days a week and should be fully stocked.
We booked last minute and weren’t able to book over the phone as it was “fully booked”, however we were hungry! So we booked online and everything was fine.
Beer was off. Onion rings- admitted they had to be bought from supermarket as ran out Extreme amount of sesame seeds and chilli flakes. NOT like usual really let down. No ice cream so could not get pudding
Our most recent meal here on Sunday afternoon was a mixed experience in that while we love TGIs and eat here roughly once a month. We were disappointed to be sat - as party of four adults - right next to two very loud children's birthday parties rather in the main area of the restaurant despite booking in advance. The service was also not the best as we had bits of our meals forgotten - such as the Balsamic for the salad and one of the steak knives - and we ended up in the restaurant for just over three hours for two courses. If it wasn't for our waitress Jasmin being exceptional and checking in with us regularly then bussing our table herself when other waiters couldn't bothered to do it (despite being asked to). Then it would have possibly effected our patronage of TGIs as it simply wasn't up to the normal standard. Thanks Jasmin your hard work and attentive kindness was and is much appreciated.
Always enjoy our visit to TGI’s, a great all round service.
More options for swapping chips would be nice. As a healthy eater I would of liked another option for example jacket potato or new potato. All my food was cooked beautifully and I ate every bit!
The service I received wasn’t great, we were met by a rude waiter and the food wasn’t like it was on the picture
