About TGI Fridays UK Coventry
The buzzing TGI Friday’s Coventry sits on a quiet location just off the A46. The restaurant offers al fresco dining and a bright and cosy space indoors to enjoy steaks, grills and cocktails. A contemporary American-style restaurant, TGI Friday’s in Coventry is a 3-minute walk from Warwickshire Shopping Park.
Big, bold American flavours freshly made in house served up every day. Choose from the sweet, smoky taste of their famous Jack Daniel’s glaze smothered onto dishes throughout the menu. Enjoy jam- packed juicy burgers along with some fresh hot sandwiches and a wide variety of flavourful appetizers. Signature steak grills and the fantastic range of fall off the bone pork ribs are a must have when visiting TGI Fridays.
Famed for its fantastic drinks selection, guests at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong cocktail list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Ultimate thick shakes, Cooling slushes, chilled beers and wines are also on offer.
Leave room for freshly prepared desserts like the brownie obsession, chocolate fudge fixation and the cookie dough sundae.
Service was great, the waitress was lovely and kind and great with the kids. The guy that show us to our table (when he finally arrived) looks bored and we weren’t made to feel special/wanted there. The food was nice but my kids and myself had burgers which were great but a lot of our chips were overcooked. It was nice but would rush back
We were not impressed by TGI Fridays at all. On arrival we had to wait in the entrance for 10 minutes, in spite of pre-booking, and then a member of staff appeared & didn't seem to really want to be welcoming or polite. We were eventually taken to a table which didn't have enough cutlery on it, in spite of us pre-booking and specifying it was for 5 people. None of your staff noticed this, so we had to ask repeatedly if we could have another fork and knife. Service was extremely slow, and we felt that once our initial order had been taken, service wasn't obviously considered important at all. We asked for condiments to accompany the meal, but they never came, so we had to ask again. The portions were very modest for the price you have to pay, we felt utterly ripped off. My husband's chips were stone cold when they arrived, but by this point we didn't want to have to wait another half an hour for more chips! Our children chose the options for their puddings, which the waitress clearly wrote down, and yet 2 out of the 3 puddings produced were missing the elements they'd chosen, at which point we complained & were made to feel like it was an inconvenience for staff to have to rectify this mistake. In addition, the music was far, far too loud. I honestly think that, even on a busy evening, service at a restaurant should be far better, and processes should be put in place (or followed, if they exist already) to avoid such a catalogue of errors occurring. The sheer cost of the meal (over £80 for us in total!) really would warrant much better service and a higher quality of food too. Suffice to say, we won't be in a hurry to return here.
Restaurant could do with some sound deadening and the bench seats need fixing
Very good service
Great service from Sam C
seemed a little under staffed
Great food here, been coming since opening.
A wonderful evening, excellent service from your lovely staff ... thanks.
Great service and food
Lovely evening as always... food on point, service perfect.. will be back again soon
I don’t think you need to take card details for 6 or over people. It nearly made me look elsewhere. And to debit the card if no show is disgraceful. Things happen and if a call is made to cancel even on the day that should suffice
Excellent food and service however (apart from cocktails) I do think that the drinks are a little pricey for what they are.
We went here as a special lunch for our son who had just graduated. Told them when I booked but was a bit disappointed in the lack of acknowledgement. Waiter seemed to be covering the whole place so service was slow. Shame really. The atmosphere which use to be a strong trademark wasn’t there on this day.
Fabulous. Saved our table when we were running late with a toddler and newborn causing havoc. Gave us a table where we could fit not only a highchair but a stroller without being in the way or in direct sunlight
Wasnt greeted. Bar staff shouted from across bar asking if i wanted anything. Tablr booked, was early however restaurant was empty and was told couldnt be taken to table until time of reservation. Was so hard to get service at the table, had to approach waiter several times for a drink/ assistance. Was waiting with bill for half an hour before we eventually ended up having to go over. Will not be returning to this branch, food was lovely but sadly service was appauling.
For the first time we have to say our visit was disappointing As a coeliac I had to ask twice for a suitable menu and felt that my meal had been thrown together, so much so I sent part of it back. The greeter was less than friendly - only saving grace was the barman who was totally on his game friendly and helpful. Not in a rush to go back.
Very noisy due to all diners in one area of restaurant even though the restaurant area is very large. Service was very good.
The waitress that looked after us was really friendly and made the experience even better
My Best Restaurant in Coventry.
Love visiting t g i always good welcome and food good. We travel down from Staffordshire to meet up with family and all agree best place to eat
Finding a table took the girl on the door an hour as tables were left dirt the evening was not busy and staff were busy chatting. Food was ok dessert half hour wait although waiter was very good in the booth overall waiting spoilt the experience especially as it was not busy on a sat night.
