About TGI Fridays UK Coventry
The buzzing TGI Friday’s Coventry sits on a quiet location just off the A46. The restaurant offers al fresco dining and a bright and cosy space indoors to enjoy steaks, grills and cocktails. A contemporary American-style restaurant, TGI Friday’s in Coventry is a 3-minute walk from Warwickshire Shopping Park.
Big, bold American flavours freshly made in house served up every day. Choose from the sweet, smoky taste of their famous Jack Daniel’s glaze smothered onto dishes throughout the menu. Enjoy jam- packed juicy burgers along with some fresh hot sandwiches and a wide variety of flavourful appetizers. Signature steak grills and the fantastic range of fall off the bone pork ribs are a must have when visiting TGI Fridays.
Famed for its fantastic drinks selection, guests at TGI Friday's can challenge bar tenders to rustle up a mix from its 500-strong cocktail list, like the classic strawberry daiquiri, or the signature raspberry-spiked Haymarket. Ultimate thick shakes, Cooling slushes, chilled beers and wines are also on offer.
Leave room for freshly prepared desserts like the brownie obsession, chocolate fudge fixation and the cookie dough sundae.
Would of preferred if the Christmas cocktails were mix and match bogof rather than having to have the same one.
Our starter plates were not cleared before mains arrived. This happened at all of the tables around us. Not good.
Fantastic staff really attentive and helpful definitely will be back
Although the food was ok the starter (potato skins) the meal was cold.
Really friendly staff and easy to book
Took the children for a treat. 25 mins before someone took our drinks order. 50 minutes before the food arrived (only 2 meals arrived, we had to wait a further 8 minutes for the third meal). The restaurant was probably at 25% capacity and there seemed to be enough staff out front. The problem seemed to be that most of them were either blowing up balloons or attending to their mobile phones. Would have complained however there didn't appear to be anybody above the age of 20 working, so, therefore, decided it would be pointless
It is with regret I leave this negative feedback as I have been coming to tgi for years now and as a family we love it. However yesterday’s visit wasn’t enjoyable. The service wasn’t acceptable with long periods between the waitress and waiter coming to take drinks orders. Then food orders. Food took a long time to arrive and then no one asked if we wanted sauces etc so spent the entire meal waiting to get some eye contact. By which time we had finished. £75 for a family of 4 is not a cheap meal but we are more than prepared to pay this is the experience is right. Which is absolutely wasn’t. It wasn’t busy so definitely not an excuse. Won’t be visiting again which is a shame.
Poor service, had to go get our own knives. No-one asked during meal if everythin OK was only asked after we had paid the bill, was then offered a free drink but it was nearly closing time & we still had drinks so we declined the offer so had no compensation as we already had paid the bill. Myself & a female friend had cold not nice fries, my steak was supposed to be medium but was very tough & red inside & my female friend's duck was very dry & not very nice & a spiceyish not nice dressing on her salad.
We were asked to pre-order but when we arrived we still waited 25 minutes for our starters which seems to defeat the point of pre-ordering! Food was fine, not particularly exciting for a festive menu but tasty. It's worth pointing out that I asked in advance if I could swap some starters for my main course as I'm not a fan of the vegetarian main offered and was gladly accommodated which was great - they even let me have 2 starters in place of my main (which as it turned out was way too much food!). Good value for money as we both left feeling very full. I think the 'ultimate' cocktails could be a little better value but the June Bug was delicious regardless!
we had an enjoyable evening, the food was great value as well as the drinks, we will visit again
Lovely food and waitress
Simple to use reservation system. Outstanding service at the restaurant. Can’t wait to revisit!
Being a family of 6 we have never been to TGI fridays before (Yes NEVER), but being my Daughters 18th Birthday we wanted something special, And you never failed to disappoint. Our waitress was lovely and so was the staff who sang to my daughter. Thank you We will be back soon 😬
The server was very nice
Have the festive 4 courses. Fabulous food and brilliant price would definite visit again!
Excellent service and wonderful food.
Food was amazing great portion sizes and you have some great staff dont know if im allowed to say this but your alot better than miller and carters
Our waiter was excellent and very attentive. However we waited ten mins for anyone to acknowledge we had arrived at the reception bit, I’d understand if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t at all. When the food main course arrived they only brought my husbands, I sat there for 15 mins waiting for mine, I got my waiters attention finally (he wasn’t the one the got it from the kitchen so it wasn’t his fault) he went to check for me and told me it had been ready at the same time and was waiting in the kitchen so he couldn’t understand why it hadn’t been brought. My potatoes were cold (meat was still hot though) I just couldn’t be bothered to return it after waiting so long. The stuffing was very dry as well. Has the restaurant changed management? It was flawless a few months ago and now it’s slipping massively.
amazing evening. the staff were great, the atmosphere was fun and the food was yummy!
The waiter that served us was brilliant :) Food was good - just could have done wiyh more gravy for dinner . But enjoyed it still
We were served by Jordon C who was wonderful and really made our visit special. We had quite specific requirements and when the food came it was perfect. He was attentive, caring and if there is some sort of employee recognition scheme I would not hesitate to recommend him.
The gentleman that served our table was nice enough but when I went to the bar on an occasion the guy behind the bar knew I wasn’t being served but waited and then asked me ‘ are you being served love ? I said I’d thibk it’d be odd if I was as you’ve just watched me walk up to the bar !! He was very ignorant
Lovely friendly staff. Wish it wasn’t so expensive
Frozen meatballs wrong burger just not worth the money
The restaurant was a little cold, a number of people wore their coats due to this.
