Very friendly staff and amazing food
The day we come there was a huge protest outside and given we had a window seat this was quite intemidating for my 7yr old daughter. We tried to have a nice family meal but having a staff protest outside with them holding placards up against the window and chanting whilst we tried to eat was not what we expected. On the other hand the lady who served us was excellent and was the only bright side of the experience.
Visit this branch every year when in London Great food and service but not good to see your staff on strike outside the restaurant I was told it was due to 40% of card tips being given to kitchen staff. As I was a general manager in the restaurant sector for 10 years surely it's up to the company to pay the kitchen staff more per hour to make up for the lack of tips that the front of house staff get. As an outsider looking in, it looks like the company are expecting the front of house to fund a pay rise for the kitchen staff. On a positive note, the food was great and our waitress was fantastic, didn't get her name but please reward her in some way for the great service we watched her give to every customer she served. We gave her a tip but not as part of our card payment
We had a good meal but didn't appreciate the campaigners out side our window one of them pointing his camera at us either taking a picture or filming and when my husband mentioned it to the manager twice the first time he said he just ignores them and when mentioning them a second time concerning them filming/taking pictures of us through the window all he had to say was oh there not allowed to film not impressed at all with how he dealt with the complaint
We arrived on time with no staff at the door (your security camera should verify this), we walked to the bar and was shown to a table. The venue was semi-empty - we were eventually served by a tired member of staff, and the drinks served seem not to have much alcohol, but a lot of sugar. I would like the weights and measures to inspect the rum and coke I ordered and will consider requesting a check on receiving your response to this email. The food delivered was not very appetising, and I would say reheated. I think you have a serious problem with this venue and would request a refund at your soonest.
Food looked appealing and all tasted super
Came for a birthday meal with my boyfriend and bestie. Service was slow. Took forever for first drinks to come and to pay our bill. My favourite meal wasn't even on this TGI's menu and I had to specially ask for it (Cajun chicken breast and chips). It came on a tiny plate and I was never given the creamy cajun sauce even after asking again for it. Was made to wear a balloon hat that didnt want to stay on my head and I'm a bit nervy around balloons. Only positive was the free birthday cake as we gave up on getting desserts as it took too long. Was disappointed
Toilets could do with a revamp weren’t very nice
Always when we come to London our first place to eat is Fridays. This time I saw that the service was not good. The potatoes skins almost burnt and the dessert was very poor and the ice cream melt. In the past I remembered a special brownie with a nice ice cream very well presented.
The waitress that served our food and drinks was so lovely, she was so patient and kind and even though it was so busy she still kept us topped up with drinks and the food was super speedy however the service from the staff on the door was rude and unwelcoming (an older larger lady i didn’t catch her name) which ruined the original arrival but if you ignore that it was a lovely visit!
Very good service from the waiters. Great food.
Despite booking a table for 6pm we were not seated until 6.20pm which with 2 4 year olds was inconvenient & became stressful. I did not really receive an apology for this either. The table service was excellent however.
Bring back the colossal Cajun onion.
Food and drink was lovely. Staff member (want to say his name was Scott) was really helpful with the drink choices. He got one of the food orders wrong but the manager came over and apologised and offered a discount. All in all a wonderful experience and we were very happy.
Our server was brilliant, very friendly.
Was a lovely meal had a free cocktail as we had both downloaded the app, well worth getting the app as you get different free things
We had a lovely time our waiter was Malachi lovely young friendly man, very engaging and helpful with the menu,as we had a few dietary changes, also sang happy birthday to our friend x
Very helpful staff, the food and drinks were good.
the restaurant was far too hot, even staff said they felt like they were going to pass out. for this reason we did not want to stay and have deserts. the table was too small for 8 people. food was nice and too much ice in the cocktails.
Singularly the worst experience I have ever had. We arrived promptly at 6.10. The entrance staff seemed surprised we were there. We had originally requested a table for 11 and changed it to 12, 2 weeks prior. They reception staff questioned whether this was the truth (remember in hospitality the customer is always right!). This was a 30th birthday party booked in January and yet the table layout was a T so no one could talk to anyone else. We requested another table but were told this was not possible and yet an hour later the table next to us was laid out exactly as we requested. Please note above that we arrived on time and were also told that we had to leave by 8.30. The first time anyone took a drinks order order was 45 mins later. The main course was delivered at 7.45...45 minutes to go...except it took a total of 20 minutes for all the main courses to arrive...Food was poor and was not TGIF standard The table was not cleared properly....about half was removed and then it took another 20 minutes for the rest. Although we wanted a dessert we came to the conclusion at 9.20 that it was not worth the wait or risk.. I will feed back to Electra but it is not good for the sale of TGIF. TGIF's financial difficulties are showing badly. Strongly recommend against going to TGIF
Waitress was a lovely Brazilian lady , nice personality and hard worker ! Give her a raise or promotion she deserves it !
The host at the front when you come in was rude not just to me but to fellow guests which could of changed my mind about eating here if it wasn't for my daughter birthday and this is her best place. She really let tgi down but our waitress was good and the food was amazing as always
Staff were lovely and very helpful! Was very crowded and noisy but that was to be expected, some items like the desserts were over priced and Farley standard
