Leave room for freshly prepared desserts like the brownie obsession, chocolate fudge fixation and the cookie dough sundae.
Outstanding. Chicken strip starters, the limited edition Diablo burger - jeez that burger was great and the pop corn sundae to finish with. Service exceptional. I don't go to. TGI's that often but when I do I always have found it great and love the food, service and atmosphere.
I had ribs, steak and shrimp Saturday evening. Sunday I had food poisoning - I'm guessing from the shrimp. I spent most of Sunday weak and in bed with frequent trips with sickness and diarrhoea. Wasted on Monday and returned to health on Tuesday. One of those things I guess when having that kind of seafood - 4 shrimps! Resolved to not having any seafood out anywhere after this. Kind of ruined my weekend!
Horrific service today. Sat down for 20 minutes without even getting served. Finally got our drinks after another 10 min wait. Food came out nearly hour after. Even though we had starters that came with our meal that was cold etc. Also one boneless bucket was missed out and never came. Yet the restaurant was pretty much empty. TGI in Cheltenham is such a hit and miss. Can either be really good or utter rubbish
We were served by mostly by Ben. I thought he coped admirably with the large party - food and drinks were delicious and the value for money for such a delicious meal was good. Enjoyed by all! Thank you Ben and the TGI team!!
The waiter Ricardo was wonderful! Very attentive and friendly! However the wait time on food was 50 minutes. Not really acceptable when you have a hungry toddler! Especially not even being told that it would be this long. We were just left waiting for it! We love TGI and we will defo go back again. But just pick it up a bit!
Great dining experience
Inside the restaurant was good and service was good, however the amount of spam emails is ridiculous! I originally booked a table for 20 people. I didn't provide the card details and was sent several reminders. People cancelled on the event, so as per these emails saying the table would be cancelled without the details, I thought the table would be cancelled automatically. I then received an email saying it was cancelled only to keep receiving the same reminder emails over and over! I rebooked for less people and gave the card details, so I didn't receive further emails for that particular booking. A few days before the event I received a call and the staff member was asking which of the 3 bookings was going ahead?! I confirmed which it was to be and received cancellation emails for the 2 other bookings. With all of this in mind, I would definitely go back to TGIs but will certainly not be booking online again! You really should review the email response and make it appropriate, not spam!
Service was slightly slow but the waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was great as usual.
It was rather expensive, I was also told I needed to email back with my card details to confirm booking but was never sent an email to respond to! So I wasted their time twice by having to call to make sure I was still booked in.
Our server Dan was very good interacted really well with my kids and all of us. Food was good apart from the potato skins not as good as Normal very greasy.
I can't remember the name of the guy that served us but he was BRILLIANT. Knew his stuff, very knowledgeable in assisting with our food choices, just awesome.
The food and staff were amazing. We had such a great night
We’ve been many times but was disappointed firstly with the fact that our cokes weren’t refillable which they have been every other time and we weren’t told this by the waitress and secondly we both had chicken fajitas which were extremely hot in flavour which made us disappointed with them so won’t be going back
Absolutely loveTGI’s, my friends and I have been going all year round for different birthdays and have had an excellent time every time we’ve been... thanks to all staff that always make the experience great... x
Took an hour to get our meals which then meant we didn’t have time for dessert
Food and service great as always but we waited a hell of a long time between our starters and main meals coming out. Our lovely waitress Shae did come and explain and apologise and also offered us some drinks. Overall though not fussed as food was top notch very hot and tasty as always. We both said we enjoyed it as per normal whenever we visit TGI’s Cheltenham.
Such a good night and great service
We are a retired couple who have enjoyed meals at this TGI Friday over the past two years. We took family (two adults and two young children) here for a meal. The service left a lot to be desired , and the meal --- well it was positively awful ALL starters and ALL main courses. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted a bit rotten. The Bucket of Bones was dry, and "grey". The sirloin steaks were lukewarm and had more than a normal amount of grizzle. The roll housing a hotdog was stale and dry and the mash potato with the "strangely tasting" salmon was inedible. Has the chef been changed?? We were quite hungry and ate half of what we had, which WAS bad enough to leave, and walk out , had we not had guests. Needless to say, we will NEVER return and our family have been "put off" TGI Friday's for life !!! We mentioned the awful food on departure and the young waitress offered an apology! ! Will certainly never recommend !
Lovely meal, friendly waiting staff. Kids had a great night too
Dan was a very good waiter
Shortage of staff led to us having to sit in busy area when there were quieter areas elsewhere One waitress had an argument with the manager which we could all hear Atmosphere was therefore NOT relaxing and we skipped dessert so we could leave
Really appreciate your patience with our crazy children causing chaos, food was absolutely delicious we all had a really great time Thank you
Always love coming here. Amazing atmosphere and the waiter was brilliant with our youngest son
Came for my daughter’s 7th birthday. The staff were brilliant; made a fuss of her, gave her a balloon cake, bought her cake out (which we provided) and sang happy birthday to her. She loved it and we all enjoyed our meals.
