This was perfect for my daughter's 5th birthday. The staff made a fuss of her while also ensuring my 2 1/2 year old didn't feel left out. Everyone was friendly. My daughter spilt her drink in her food and the kindness the staff showed in replacing it for her was spot on. Thank you. Perfect for an early dinner for special family occasion with children.
Great service and food but very quiet and cold, needed to wear coats! We were there for Sunday lunch
Seated in dark corner. Asked for lights on to be told they only get put on a night. No atmosphere. Waited ages for anyone to take a drinks order. Chips cold, corn on the cob dry and inedible. Waitress too busy chatting to bar staff to take pudding order. Birthday balloons and cake only redeeming factor. Need to get better at the basics.
It’s so overpriced!!!
Good food and cocktails, good service
Great service, food overpriced for what it is
Food is ok but extremely overpriced compared to its rivals. Good atmosphere but a meal for two with drinks comes in around £70 where as the same experience and quality of food can be found for a third less at most other chains. I’m happy to spend big money at independent resteraunts with innovative and quality menues but TGI Friday simply isn’t worth the extra expense. Service is poor, reserved two tomahawk steaks for a Friday night to be told that they sold them at lunchtime- what was the point of reserving them then? Overall a very expensive but average night out.
We were very impressed with how your manager handled our coeliac daughter, asking if she was just intolerant or if she was a coeliac. This made us feel confident that her allergy was being taken seriously. It was her birthday and they sang happy birthday to her with a candle in her pudding which made her day. Thank you.
The service was fabulous and the food was good!
Excellent friendly service made to feel very welcome. Took extra time to talk to the children and make them laugh. It was our daughters 16th birthday and they sang happy birthday to her and provided a beautiful slice of cake. Very clean, beautiful food, excellent Service!
Excellent service Great food Good atmosphere
Table was slow to be cleared of glasses or plates in between courses and didn't clear at all after we finished eating!
Lovely experience with very kind staff
I requested a booth and balloons-all sorted before we arrived!
The restaurant was freezing and we all kept our coats on. No atmosphere and my Dad was given his cake as we were walking out the door and asked if he wanted her to sing happy birthday. Pretty poor considering it was his 85th birthday and we wanted it to be special. Needless to say he didn’t want to stand by the door while Happy Birthday was sang to him! Another waitress came to our table with what she called a squash. We said no one had ordered a squash. My son told her he had ordered a whiskey and cranberry juice. She then smelt it and confirmed it had whiskey in it. Not very professional at all. TGI’s was my Dads favourite place for a meal but after the shambles on Saturday I doubt very much I’d he will want to go again
My husband was told they had given him the wrong steak. He was fine with this as they told him they would replace it. He carried on eating his meal with us and then the waitor came with a brand new meal including everything he has already eaten. Fantastic service and I haven’t seen this happen anywhere else before!
Thank you for excellent food and service, especially our waiter Ben, who looked after us well, nothing was too much trouble. We were on way to the theatre, so time was tight and once we explained this to the staff, the food came quickly and made our visit and the whole evening stress free .
We waited over an hour for our food. Got asked if we wanted a drink hadn’t even finished speaking and the girl taking our order had walked away. No one came up to apologise about the wait
At first the service was great and then it got worse and worse... had to wait for our bill for half an hour! And my husband didn't get the TGI's birthday treatment even though it was his special day and we told the TGI staff.
Food was good and tasty, service was excellant and our waitress Natalie was smiley, helpful and happy. Had a good time.
One starter did not arrive and another was wrong, staff dealt with this well but mistakes do happen Duck fajitas was more like a take on Chinize duck pancakes, not sure right for TGI Thanks Stuart
Luke was brilliant great service from start to finish
Daniel was awesome, he really made my daughter feel special on her birthday!
Food was ok I am normally a massive fan of tgi but must say this visit was really average staff are normally very attentive checking if you need refills etc not this visit then had to query bill as it was £6 over also had to get children’s menus myself I’m hoping was just a bad day and this ain’t tgi going downhill
