Food was absolutely amazing on this visit but we went week before ordered the same thing and last week the portion was a third of the size No consistency in portions
I had an enjoyable evening, food was good and so were the cocktails.
The main reason for not being fully Satisfied is the cleanliness of the utensils and the side plates were slightly dirty. We had to wipe them clean. They seemed short staffed. The bun on my burger was cold but this was quickly rectified by our waitress.
We weren't aware that diet drinks were free refill and were brought one without asking, which was great but would be good to tell customers originally :)
Very thoughtful staff as was celebrating a birthday and bought out a 🍰 and candle
Thank you for making my daughters 16th birthday special
We came to TGI Fridays in Cheltenham for my birthday. When we arrived we asked to wait for our table as the previous occupants had not yet left, which we didn't mind doing. When we eventually got to our table I showed our waiter an offer code I had redeemed through your app for a free cocktail with every main meal. The waiter did not make a note of the code when I showed it to him but proceeded to take our cocktail order. We enjoyed our meal and cocktails and at the end asked for the bill. When the bill came the cocktails had been added to the bill. I asked the waiter to check this and he asked me for the code again. I looked on the app and I couldn't find the code however I had taken a screen shot of it so I showed the waiter that. The waiter then came back and was incredibly rude and said "the code has expired" so we would have to pay for the cocktails. I was not happy with this response as I had shown him the code when we ordered them. I asked to speak to the manager and he came over and was nothing but helpful and sorted it all out and removed the cocktails from the bill. The cocktails came to around £30 and if it hadn't been for the offer code we would not of ordered them so I was quite angry with the behaviour of your waiter. I was also shocked by the manner of your waiter and if it had been me I would've apologised and said I know you showed me the code, I didn't write it down, let me go and speak to my manager and we'll get this sorted out. He didn't do any of that and smirked at me when he said "the code has expired". The way your waiter behaved really ruined the end of what had been an enjoyable evening for us all. Throughout I didn't think he was very good as he had to be asked by my husband for birthday balloons etc. Your manager however was professional throughout and did step in to rectify everything.
Drink service was very slow, wine ordered out of stock Food nice, but lukewarm
Music was a bit load so had to talk loud to be heard
Unusually the service was very poor. We booked 2 weeks in advance but our table was not ready. We had to wait 20 minutes once seated our waitress did not come to our table for another 10 minutes. We ordered drinks and had to wait 10 minutes for them to arrive we really like TGIs and go regularly so we can forgive but if this had been our first visit we would not return. The restaurant was very disorganised. Numerous tables had been vacated but not cleared or cleaned. Luckily the food arrive promptly and was excellent as always.
It a really nice place to go the food is amazing
The quality of the food does not equal the money.
Great service and we had Ben waiter for us and he was brilient made our evening and the kids loved the balloon animals
We had such a great evening, mainly thanks to Ben our waiter. Our first visit and we loved it. Thanks for making us so welcome!
It was 20 mins before our order was taken and another 20 mins before we got any food, and we had 2 children under 5 with us, so your little activity bag did not go far, they were desperately hungry and bored by the time food arrived! Not the fault of waiter Vladimir, just not enough staff by a long way!! Food was average when it did come, will not be going back in a hurry!!!
Our host Shannon was really attentive and ensured the children (& adults) in our 11yr old sons party were well looked after! Nothing was too much trouble. We have visited before, and will definitely be returning again! Food was great! My daughter has already informed us she wants to come back for her birthday treat!! See you soon!
My daughter loved the birthday song and cake and waiter was amazing! Love TGI’s x
Good place to go when it’s a special occasion, not the cheapest for a family meal but still my children enjoyed it
Went for dinner last night for my daughters birthday. Staff were amazing. Food was totally tasteless. Fajitas ...... just onions, no peppers in the veg, salsa tasted of nothing, same with the guacamole. Husbands burger was ok, chips with weird yellow cheese on. Blimey the food has really gone downhill. Such a shame. As I said though, the staff were brilliant, my daughter had a fun time.
Lovely experience overall. Just a bit over priced. Especially Fri-Sun
We arrived at 6:40 and we were told we had to wait for a table (pls note we booked for 7pm) There were at least 4-5 available tables whilst we wait at the bar. Never mind- we ordered at 7:15 and got the food around 8:30 only after me asking about it! Food was poor and v v cold. We were so hungry that we ate it and told the waitress (Rachel) at the time of paying. We have been 3 times in the last month and the service it’s getting worse. My daughter used to love TGF but not any more. Thank you and hopefully you will take this feedback seriously.
The service is very friendly but slower than our liking. It would have been nice for our server to check on us more frequently. Also, when we arrived, the sun was brightly shining. It was difficult for some of us to see until the sun set. Blinds in the windows would have been nice. The food is great as we’ve always experienced.
