Service was excellent and 3 out of 4 meals were good unfortunately mine chicken was poor quality was like rubber and I had to send it back, I was offered another meal and it was taken off my bill but was disappointing as everyone had already started eating I did find the prices a bit high compared to other places I've eaten with the same quality But the service and staff were excellent especially Rick
Starters were luke warm, not hot, garlic bread was over cooked and burnt, the room was to cold to sit in and in my opinion the food was brought out too quickly between courses.
Had a fantastic meal out for my son's 21st birthday The service was fantastic
Our waitress Rebecca was absolutely amazing! All the staff are so friendly, but Rebecca was that little bit above and beyond! Absolutely fantastic customer service skills, very genuine!
Food was cold. The boneless chicken wings had no chili sauce with them. I asked why and the waitress said that it had evaporated.. we also ordered chili nachos which arrived with no meat.. I asked why and again we were told that it had evaporated.. We didn't eat much so waited for someone to come and see how we are getting on. 45 minutes later we the waitress returned. Who replied with the above. I forgot to mention. We asked for a coffee and the waitress said they had no hot water.. She then said she could make us an instant coffee. It sounded to me like they had cleaned the coffee machine and didn't want to use it as it was getting late. We arrived at 930 two other tables were in and then left after 10 minutes or so. Lots of staff were leaving from 10pm.. not sure if that is normal. It didn't make us feel welcome. Finally after explaining the experience we were told that we could get 10% off. Ie £3. This has put me off returning to TGIs
The gentleman that served us was a really nice guy who was pleasant, helpful and cheerful had a good personality and made us feel welcome.
When go in a large group the staff cant handle it. We were placed in a bad place for a table of 12 with children (by the door) we waited ages for our orders to be taken infact we had to ask for orders to be taken. 30oz steak was dry and was sent back, kids burger looked dry and it wasn't eaten either. After being in there 2 hours we couldn't be bothered to order a dessert
Great service and great food. Our waitress was always on hand for any thing we needed.
Quick friendly service .. food was lovely
very good service, atmosphere is always great and the food is lovely.
Really nice, I do think the tables are very close together though and we did ask for a booth for privacy cause it is very packed sardinesy
Sorry to say last night was completed spoiled and didnt even eat,we booked a table for belated birthday for 8pm we arrived at 745pm and was told straight away we are very busy and running well behind,we went to the bar got a drink and spoke to an older guy who had booked for 730pm and he told us he had been told they havnt got a clue what time he will sit down,so i went at 8pm and asked if she knew roughly what time we would get the table as the older guy still hadnt got his,the reply i got was ridiculous, ive no idea it could be 9pm at this rate i said whats the point in me booking online.so with that we left our drinks at 820pm and went home with no birthday food night out.i understand its the kids half term and people stay at the table longer than they should, but he girl on the door was still letting people in when really they had no chance of a table for 90 mins.we come in cheadle a lot and have done since it opened but never seen anything like that last night. I booked a table but when we got there we had to wait 45 mins to be seated. I appreciate it was busy but then why did I bother booking in advance if i was going to have to wait with people who walked in without booking. The food wasn't up to the usual standard when it did arrive . We didn't even order dessert as it was so late by the time we finished mains. Service was slow. All in all I won't go back again which is a shame as my daughter's wanted to go there rather than anywhere else.
Worst experience in a long time. Bookies a table for 7pm, when we arrived told we were running 10 mins behind. Finally offered a table at 7:25 and it was the worst table in the restaurant, unused with a box on it when we arrived. Said I was not prepared to sit there and would leave, and suddenly a better table was found. Sat down and ordered at 7:30, food arrived at 8:15, just as we were about to leave for the second time. Food was poor, service was worse than poor ( no one came to offer drinks even though our glasses empty from before 8pm. Completely out of control, and not worth the £50 we spent for 3 main courses and 3 drinks. Evening was spoilt and I will never go back.
As always very welcome excellent service
The menu is very limited now with not as much choice. My husband had the hot ribs, which were hot but so were chips with not much taste involved.
Our waitress Gabby couldn’t do enough for us, she made our time at TGIs a pleasure to be there.
Service was brilliant - waiter was very friendly made our dining experience relaxing and comfortable... food was amazing! Quality tasty hot food... highly recommend mozzarella dippers, chicken strips with JD glaze and popcorn & brownie sundae... looking forward to the next visit.
Great visit to our favourite TGI's. Food was fabulous, service was exceptional especially as it was a busy Valentines evening.
We have been looked after by Chris who made us feel special. He was attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Great service!
