Please note I do not know how or why this table was reserved. I don’t live in this area and am currently in Greece until the 28th of August
Never disappoints. The steak is cooked to perfection and the chicken strip starter was awesome. Not a bad word to say.
Our favourite TGIs but not the best experience yesterday afternoon. Had to wait longer than normal for our starters and mains and unfortunately, first time ever we came out without ordering a dessert we waited so long. Seemed very busy but not as many staff as usual. We were in just over two hours so waited some serious time between starters and mains. Good job we had plenty to talk about.
Service was a little slow in some parts
Brilliant establishment for celebrating a family birthday. Food and service was excellent. Especially the chap who served us, he was patient, very helpful and considerate with the older members of the group. Thank you for a great night and the extras, balloons, birthday song.
Excellent place for my Son's 10th Birthday. Staff very alternative He loved it
We received excellent service. The staff totally met the needs of the children making it a stress free enjoyable time. The birthday boy was so tired so we didn’t stay for pudding but he was given a piece of cake in a birthday box which he was delighted with! Thankyou!
A great evening. The food was lovely and the waitress who served us was friendly and efficient. Would definitely visit again
We come here a lot when staying at escape as it's normally so nice but this time was so different. There were certain starters they had run out of one of them being potato skins which we were going to order. There were certain items on the kids meals that were unavailable we ordered the second size kids meal for a 6 year old which was ridiculously small portion god knows what the smaller size would have been like. My partners cocktail was full of ice which makes me think it wasn't finished properly as they brought a shot glass of alcohol to the table a few mins later and said it needed to go in very disappointing. We were brought our food and had to wait 5 mins for cutlery. No real chat from the waiter not sure of his name but not very helpful. This has changed my mind about coming again will probably go elsewhere as this was for a birthday and we left very disappointed.
Excellent service by Ryan the food was delicious a very enjoyable family evening.
Great time had by all, our seater Max and server Megan were very friendly, pleasant and very helpful.
The music is always too loud in there but other than that we love tgi’s
good night overall
Food was cold when arrived Service was extremely slow Menu prices always go up every quarter without fail
The service was dreadful, it took ages to have our order taken, to arrive and then it didn't get cleared away. I had to find a waiter everytime we needed anything and I kept seeing the service staff stood around chatting. We had a young baby and a child of 5 so time was of the essence. There were also no kids packs available. We booked for 4.45 to try and get in and out and were extremely disappointed. For £50 odd quid we feel it wasn't good enough and are unlikely to return.
Needs air-conditioning,gets way to warm.carnt sit and enjoy meal, would not bring my child to warm for them
The staff were great and very organised, couldn't have asked for any better service from all the team especially the young lady allocated to our table.
Fantastic service, great food. 10/10 would recommend and return 😄
The food came out at different times and my daughters food came out with burnt fish fingers. She wouldn’t eat that so we asked for some pasta instead. Since getting home my wife was taken ill with the food she’d eaten and had really bad stomach cramps. The chicken she had eaten was warmed up and was not as it normally tastes when we have been before. The whole experience wasn’t as pleasant as when we have been before. Also we notice that the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller each time we come. We used to love having a family meal at TGI but can’t say that we were as impressed as we normally are.
Service was excellent to start off with, until main course. Where I was unhappy with my meal I had the 8oz sterlion steak. I got told it would come with onion rings instead of corn on the cob which I agreed to, but there view of a onion ring is crushed up greasy veg? They also bought me the wrong sauce, (beef dripping instead of Jack Daniels) I asked the waiter to swap this which she didn't do so. To add to this my steak was all grissle and I disliked the salad, so all in all it was a rubbish meal, and the waiter did not care when I told her. This is the second time I have had a rubbish meal there, however every time I go to Meadowhall the food is amazing.
I usually go to the Leeds trinity or white rose. I decided to visit the Xscape one as it’s close to home. I told the staff it was my son’s birthday when we booked the table but nothing was done. I’ve broken my leg and still had to keep getting up and asking for things like menus (we weren’t given any children ones) and drinks etc as we were constantly ignored. We asked for the children’s meals to come with our starters... but they didn’t and we had 3 screaming children not happy. When they did arrive we only received the pasta and not the veg sticks. I ordered the duck salad. It’s my favourite and I ALWAYS order it... well not again, or at least not from there. It was literally a bowl of lettuce nothing else and hardly any duck! I left it as I didn’t fancy eating just leaves for my tea! We kept trying to get the waiters attention but we were ignored constantly and when we did manage to speak with our waiter, it was as if we were spoiling his evening. We definitely will not be returning and we will stick to the other ones in future.
Our waitress was so nice, polite & there to hand if we needed anything
Stood at the door for 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged! Over 5 servers looked at us and pretended they hadn’t seen us. This was 6pm on a busy Friday night, not acceptable! When we were finally acknowledged there was no apology for the wait.
