Gave us a lovely party atmosphere
Exellent service (jemma )looked after us throughout our meal .food was perfect definatly be back
Waitress was slow and look miserable .... way to exspensive for what you get
Could be made more affordable for people on a lower income to be able to treat there children too
Enjoyable meal but felt it was expensive for what we got. The drinks service was slow. Children's meal was disappointing , no veg sticks , hardly any beans , tiny pot. Milk shake expensive for small plastic glass.
My ribs were burnt but when i told our server she brought me luvly fresh ribs.Food wonderful.
Absolutely dreadful. Ordered a drink, when I spoke to the waitress to advise that is was not the drink that I ordered she replied thats how we make them. Then she returned and said that they were trying a new recipe?? 2 main courses were served cold and one course had cross contamination of other meals. When the cold mains were returned they had been put in a microwave! Very poor service aswell. The meals were removed from the bill as we would not eat them. Ended up with a bill for £70.00 for starters and for some drinks. Ruined by sons 18th birthday.
Our waitress was awesome - friendly and attentive, she deserves a raise. Food was OK, probably a bit better than a Weatherspoon, but at three times the price I would have expected something a bit more special.
Really great night to celebrate my 17th Birthday!
Don’t normally fill these in but thought I would as the experience was somewhat disappointing. None of it individually was terrible but collectively it felt pretty poor. 1. We had booked a table, the staff member wandered us around the room failing to find the table they were expecting to be able to put us on and eventually took us to a table where they were still making it up and had us stood waiting till it was ready 2. Our order was taken - my son ordered a pizza. After 20 mins the manager came over and told us they had no pizzas. So we ordered something else. 3. After we had been in 55mins we chased our food which was brought over. 4. Both kids veggie sticks were forgotten so we had to chase for them. There was no apple left. 5. Diet cokes were brought over that were clearly not right, we tried them and the syrup had gone so we flagged it with a staff member who said “so do you want another”... 6. When asking a lady for the bill we had a curt response of “yes in a minute I’m just a bit busy”
Kids portions were a little small. Other than that I couldn't fault it
One of our party arrived first and was seated, having ordered drinks for us all, which were put on the table. When we arrived later we were told "we don't know where she's sat, do you want to just wander around til you find her?" Not a very good impression to start with! The server we had, unfortunately I can't remember his name, more than made up for it though. Including going back to the kitchen to ask why our 'seasonal veg' consisted of a plate of peppers!
Always lovely food however I ordered boneless wings to start and found a chip in with them and my sister ordered chilli nachos and also came across a chip in her starter?? I'm all for freebies but it made us wonder what state the kitchen was in by mixing food up like that . They also brought us our main meals before clearing the starter dishes and we had to take cutlery from the next table whilst your staff watched ?
Really disappointed - service started great with smiley welcome but, after food arrived, zero attention. Kids meals didn’t come with the cucumber/carrot veg. Gagging for a drink but no staff. After asking, kids veg still didn’t come. Plenty of staff but all seemed to prefer huddling in groups and chatting, rather than servicing customers. Happy birthday song is just ridiculous - aggressive clapping and shouting - no clue what was being said at all and kids just looked startled. Cake was nice but overall, a pretty dismal experience
always a nice meal staff are friendly good night out
Had a brilliant waitress called Lydia, who couldnt do enough for us. She was the one of the best we have had whilst visiting TGI's.
We were there to celebrate my daughters 10th Birthday. It was a family meal for 6. Everything was ok, however you forgot to cook my wifes meal. We were left wondering (if it was going to come or not) for quite some time. When we queried where it was, a staff member went away and came back 5 mins later to say that a manager had inspected my wifes order and had decided it wasnt up to standard. It therefore needed to be recooked, hence the delay. What utter nonsense !!! If this was true then why didn't someone explain this to us when the rest of the meals were being served. If it was missed then it was missed. fair enough. But dont give the nonsense excuses.
We left birthday cards on the table and went to come back for them. When doing so and got given them back they were open and told it was for “security reasons”. Opening a child’s birthday card which could have had money in was unnecessary. And disheartening for the child to not have opened her friends card. The fact we were just brushed off after going back was rude.
Customer service not great at all, waitress came to the only three times: 1 To take order 2 When food arrived 3 To bring the bill The wait from ordering food to it arriving was pretty poor to say the least. Some in our party had taken the refills option for their drinks which is great if staff came and replaced at any point. I feel we would have spent more money had we had an attentive waiter/waitress looking after us. Kitchen had run out of several items one being ice cream, which is the basis for drinks and desserts alike. Very poor!! Had driven from Hull as we have always had great service, never again. Real shame!!!
The food tasted good. Such a shame two of the drinks we ordered couldn't be made properly - one as you had no ice cream and another because you had no strawberries. The team did a great job shouting out for my son's birthday, but we had to wait ages for the bill.
Love TGI’s but the service was very slow, hard to get waitress attention to ask for more drinks, generally quite disappointing.
Good food nice place would recommend
Came for a meal with work as part of a team build. Service was quite slow, food was warm - not hot. Average visit at best.
We had a lovely evening. We were able to book easily online, 2 hours before we wanted to eat. We got our table early which was great.
