Came here for a birthday lunch with family, food was great, service was great, first time my dad had been to TGI’s and he thoroughly enjoyed it, and also loved the decor inside the restaurant.
Being given a server/waiter on his first day on the job was not a great start for a table of 20, he done his best but was not a great experience. Food came out barely warm (every dish) drinks took forever or got forgotten, as did the sauces to accompany food these came out by time we had finished but was still charged. Nice atmosphere but was so stressed as I'd organised meal by time we left I couldn't wait to escape. Wouldn't go back especially with large or even a small group as it would seem staff can not cope with demand. As I'd delivered balloons for table I had hoped they woukd be on table to decorate area but I had to ask for them so ruined that surprise too.
I used to love TGI’s but each visit is getting worse and I’m afraid after my last visit I will not be returning. My starter in comparison to my partners was abysmal, how you can serve 10-12 pieces of chicken and then 4 slithers of mushroom is beyond me, and for the waitress to say ‘it’s done by weight’ is the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard, absolute waste of money. And the main was virtually inedible, shredded onions and peppers for a fajita? And barely cooked vegetables to go with it, very unappetising. And when I asked for some sour cream and cheese for my meal (seeing as it’s been changed to vegan- which I understand but the option would have been nice) it seemed like I had asked for extra lobster the waiter was so shocked. Not a pleasant experience, did not want to pay for my meal but the staff seemed very uninterested in our dissatisfaction.
Waiter was great however food took for ever to come out and different dishes between courses took even longer.
Food was really poor the presentation was awful looks like was just thrown on the plate. Cocktails were lovely only reason I would go back for the cocktails but not for the food. Spent a lot of money and felt like we could of got a nicer meal somewhere else for the amount of money we spent!
Akera was waiting on me and my friends at dinner she was very friendly and had great people skills and got everything we needed fantastic service!
Great food and service, also, atmosphere is always great!
We had a lovely meal, food was delicious and served very quickly. Our waitress, Isabelle, was attentive, super polite and a laugh! Very impressed!
Despite having told the waiter it was a birthday they never brought the cake or sang the song which is what our kids pick TGI’s for. The waiter, when I asked for squash for my children turned to the kids and offered them milkshakes 😡 clearly if this was something I wanted them to have I would have ordered them- instead I now had expensive milkshakes for my kids that I knew they wouldn’t even drink so no surprises there when they just went to waste. Kids meals - pizza ridiculously big for my 5 year old and yet no option on the younger dining menu for pizza so again half of that ended up going to waste. My other child had the chicken strips despite ordering no beans, the beans came- yet again more waste of food! They then charged £1 for a tiny pot of bbq sauce to go with the chicken strips- I mean seriously???!! Cocktails nice but expensive and full of ice! When we’d finished our cocktails we were never asked if we’d like more drinks. Waited 20 minutes for 1 desert. Basically not very impressed on this particular visit.
The online reservation did not work, the restaurant did not have our booking, though they could find the booking with the reference. I would suggest this to be looked into, as we would have been very upset has we not been able to get a table quickly. However, the maitre de was very helpful, sat us at a booth as we had requested. Service from our waitress was extremely good.
Service was great even one of the waitresses remembered us from a year ago.
Friendly and enthusiastic staff serving great food.
Great food as always . Service was good considering it was so busy
Not very attentive with drinks, sauces etc we had to find someone each time we wanted a new drink and rather than finding out if everyone wanted a drink they just got the one that was asked for
Excellent service waitress was lovely and really good with my daughter and her friend.
Super friendly service as always! Fun way to spend my birthday with the family.
Nice food and very friendly service
We’ve always loved TGI’s, however, I must say we’re pretty disappointed with the quality of choice and the quality of good. Everything is of a much lower quality as I’ve always associated with the brand. Prices have always been pretty high, but in the past it’s bern worth it, because the quality and the quantity has been there. Sadly, v. disappointed. Doubt we will be back. Equally, the atmosphere has always been a pull and you couldn’t fault it, of our recent visits, it’s just lost it’s sparkle, not the BIG night out I’ve associated it with - not good. Our server was awesome though, such a fabulous lady, full of fun and great service from her. Sorry TGI’s, you need to pull your finger out.
Staff were very nice and service was quick and very good.
Milkshakes were nice, chips were good. I wasn't keen on the steak though, lacked taste for me. Chicken and prawns were good too.
Food was really good. Waitress was sweet and friendly but didn’t have a clue when I asked her about redeeming my free purple rain cocktail. Asked if it was just one or for every member of my party. Said she’d double check then said she’d take it off at the end. We didn’t bother asking again. Service was slow. Starters arrived before the drinks we ordered. At the end we got our bill and plug it on three cards. She asked us how much we wanted to put on each card my daughter thought we’d better show her the bill in case she thought we were having her over! I’m guessing she may have been a new start. But tip for the future if a customer asks you about a special offer, go and find out don’t just push to take the order and then not follow up. Atmosphere was ok but by 8:30 the place was empty. Food is a good price but nearly £7 for a small glass of prossecco is a bit much.
Our waiter was brilliant. Very friendly and attentive.
Usually we have a very good experience, but a few things weren't up to standard on this particular visit which left us feeling disappointed
Fantastic service, lovely welcoming and friendly waitress. Food was great and very tasty
