We visit TGI’s about once a month. Potato skins were absolutely horrible on this visit which was annoying because they’re usually my favourite part of the meal!
Never got what i ordered, was seated in the corner so our waitor forgot all about us and left me for 20 minutes needing a refill of my drink which meant I couldn’t eat my burger as it was spicy
Ordered drinks still didn’t have them 15 minutes later, only soft drinks so don’t know why the delay, our starters came out and not even 5 mins later our mains were brought out and served to the table next to us, then taken away again only to be brought straight back to our table, jd sauce spilled so plate was all sticky and on the whole was disappointing service and food not up to the normal TGI standard, front desk staff girl not friendly at all.
Accidentally booked for 2 instead of 4 but they accommodated us no problem
Only fault was that the restaurant was too cold (air conditioning blowing) which cooled our food down really quickly
Overall not the best experience. The slushes were false advertising as just ice with juice so we sent it back. Food was lukewarm when served and one order was wrong in which burger with no topping came along with all topping. Very pricey and if had better meal at McDonald's to be fair. We ended up going to sprinkles in renfrew for dessert which provides proper slush for kids..service wasn't the best and we kept having yo hint for waitress Megan
Club sandwich should be three slices of toasted bread NOT a brioche bun - that my friend is a burger not a sandwich ! Chicken bites called boneless wings disappointing too
Kids should eat free every time St.Mirren win a league game in the SPL. Apart from that TGI’S is great.
The staff were quick, polite and happy. The dood was amazing. My only negative wiew would be bot being able to have bottomless fizzy drinks that are not diet. But I still had a fantastic meal and would take my daughter's back there.
Had a great night with my fiancee, dinner and drinks were great. A bit pricey but will return in the future anyway.
Great meal and helpful staff
Food was lovely warm & fresh service very friendly the only downside was the quality of the steak very fatty & small I’ve had the mix grill a few times this was by far the smallest & fattiest steak I’ve had
Service was very slow but otherwise good
Very busy, coktails were horrible had to send them back and ended up with a coke. Food was ok but felt like was very over cooked or it was a reheat. Think was too busy for them to have it as good as usually is
Last twice I've been and ordered the steak I got food poisoning. Decided to give it one more go for our 4 year anniversary dinner as we had a £20 voucher. Our waiter, Blair, was lovely. Starters came and they were fine however the sesame chicken tasted odd. The mains came and the pasta was fine but the steak was incredibly tough and only managed a couple bites before my teeth became sore! When we record our mains though I was not given a steak knife (or any knife for that matter) and had to go up and ask for one and I was told I had to wait because he was too busy and had to do a birthday song (which I believed could have waited). Waited 5 mins and saw him doing other things instead of getting me a knife so I had to ask someone else. Also had to go up and ask for a refill on my drink and had to go up and get sauces ourselves. We told Blair and he was apologetic and got a manager who took the steak off the bill along with 25% which we sincerely appreciate! We also got a free bit of cake for our anniversary courtesy of Blair which we thought was a lovely gesture. However after this and the last twice we have visited, we definitely will not be visiting again.
Food was very poor compared to times we have visited. Presentation was terrible, and the quality was even worse. Have been plenty times before and really enjoyed the food.
Slightly over priced for the type of food it is but was well cooked and service was good.
The staff are all incredibly friendly and the food is delicious, especially the sesame chicken! My dad ordered it and got a smaller portion than the rest of us but the server was nice enough to give him a side portion to even it out too.
The restaurant was not clean. Dirty dishes in view and the floor was very slippery. Service wasn’t what I expected, had to chase server down for refills, cutlery not on table at the start.
Megan our server was excellent. The place may need a little air conditioning and the floor leading to the toilet very slippery need to get it sorted before an accident occurs. Foods good .
Booking was for 7 o’clock, had to wait a long time for food, only ordered 1 main course each, no extra sides. Took 45 mins for food to be served, had to eat very quickly and rush the meal as had booked cinema tickets for 8:10. Lovely waitress think her name was broghan? But not sure.
Booked our table and showed up early but was seated straight away. Great service inside that was very quick. The waitress brought us over our free refills before we even asked , which is really good she noticed! Started arrived quickly- the portion was huge. Then came the main promptly after that. All in all great experience. However music is fairly loud so it can make it hard to hear others speaking.
It was enjoyable and the service was really good
A great night out for my daughters birthday. I just wish we had had time for dessert!
