Very poor service. Rude waitress, our steaks were not cooked as we asked, meant to be medium rare and we’re very tough, and when we told the waitress she said ‘what do you want me to do about that’, she was very very rude and did not seem to care waitress also passed hot food over the baby in the pram and the food was not up to standard. The waitress also hovered over the rabble when we were near the end of the meal waiting for payment which was very off putting and annoying.
great location average food and drink
Great service, value and food
Lovely waitress really looked after us all
It took them 50 minutes to make us four drinks and 1 hour for our starters to be served. The service was terrible, the waiters didn't even really apologise, they just said the bar and the kitchen were slow that night! We sent something back because it didn't look cooked but it was never brought back to us. Won't be going back!
First drinks took 30mins and arrived after starter , main courses all cold so sent back. Second attempt 5 meals came out and once finished the other 3 finally appeared, a complete embarrassment with staff and food. I will never return!!!! A complete waste of time!!
We had a waitress named Lucy she was such a friendly person It was a pleasure to talk to her
Waited over an hour for our food to arrive. Three items we wanted were not available. Poor quality and quantity of food when it did arrive.
Absolutely dreadful. I pre-ordered our food as this was a corporate event. I even had a telephone call confirmation to advise the menu choices had been received and would be ready for us upon arrival. When we arrived, we had to sit on 2 tables, we booked 1 table. The service was appalling. Drinks took 1 hour to arrive, 2 of the cocktails tasted dreadful and were sent back. Glasses were dirty when they finally arrived for sparkling wine. The starters took over an hour to arrive and were not what we had pre-ordered. No salsa or guacamole on the nacho starters. Main courses came after 30 minutes - salmon returned as this had been extremely over cooked and was disgusting. Chips were cold, burgers were cold. To be honest, we couldn't get out of there quick enough. I find it diabolical that when complaining about the pre-booked orders, it was denied that they take pre-orders. I placed the pre-orders myself and had it all confirmed via email and telephone. We will never be visiting again. VERY, VERY POOR.
The service (Callum I believe) was great and the food was lovely.
After being seated the waiter took our drinks order, I asked what beers are on draught and they had ran out of Budweiser & Peroni, the only option was Samuel Adams. I ordered a Gin & ginger ale & a Diet Coke, we waited 30 minutes and no drinks arrived. I asked the waiter where they were and he said he’s just been told they’d ran out of ginger ale as well. Food arrived cold & not what we ordered. Salmon was ordered with mash & veg and it arrived with chips. My burger & the side to share of chicken strips were cold. Meal was poor and so was the service. The venue was under staffed and poorly ran. I will not be returning to this TGI’s at Resorts World Birmingham.
It seems very expensive and a shame you don't offer the cineworld discount using their unlimited card like other restaurants in resort world.
Quick service and friendly staff
Visited TGIs for my daughter's 18th Birthday. Even though the restaurant was very busy the service was fantastic Polly made every effort to make my daughter's birthday special and couldn't do enough for us. Great atmosphere and daughter loved the happy birthday song, crown and complimentary cake x
Salmon expensive for portion size
Really enjoyed our meal, arrived a bit earlier than our booked time but were seat straight away. All staff we came into contact with were extremely friendly and helpful. Will 100% return
A little disappointed because they didn’t sing happy birthday to my daughter. When I booked I added a special comment to say it was my daughters 21st birthday 😞
Had a lovely time here for my sisters birthday, food was really good and our waiter was great, very friendly and helpful, thank you Renardo.
We were a large group and the two waiters that looked after us were fab. Nothing was too much trouble. I can’t remember their names but we were booked in for 5.30 on 30 September. If feedback is given to individuals.
Took 20 minutes for 3 cocktails, first round of starters was cold, then one of the main meals was cold
Food is delicious, service was good. It was very busy so a wait for food was expected.
Was really looking forward to attend TGI Friday's as we just finished off at the wedding show. We got to our table however we felt throughout the staff wasn't the most friendly. I can appreciate how busy it can be on a Saturday But when the staff aren't the friendliest doesn't help we came to the restaurant to have a lovely even to then we had to wait ages for our drinks when one of our drinks came straight away. The food was okay. Wouldn't come back any time soon. Just disappointed with the whole atmosphere.
Absolutely terrible service. Waitress was half asleep. Not useful at all. Didn’t take our order until 25 mins into sitting down. Had to flag her down when we could actually see her (she was nowhere to be seen) to clear our starters so we could have our mains. Had to ask twice where our mains were. Total wait between starters and mains were around 30 mins. Had to chase again for the bill. I asked to pay £25 on my card and she put the full bill into the card machine. Absolutely awful.
Nice food good atmosphere can be loud if your looking for quiet this is more of a party happy restaurant
I was very happy with my experience at TGIs and will be visiting again in the near future. The service in particular was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating.
