Our starters arrived on time and it was of high quality however our main course arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes after we ordered it for a burger the food was all cold the Chinese wasn’t melted and the chios were covered in the jack Daniels sauce as the waiter spilled it all over them and didn’t ask if I wanted them replaced. We came to TGI’s as it was my birthday and I did put that in my booking I’m so let down that I had to pay almost £90 for food I did not enjoy and food that was just a waste of money.
Booking in was a waste of time as me and my partner didn’t feel we got the service we deserved. Better just coming in off the street as the wait was the same. The waiter who served us our meal was excellent. Started was late out as the table next to us was served theirs first. Won’t be in a rush to come back, would like your company to think about the people booked ahead to be prioritised to walk ins.
Very nice waiters and waitresses and really good food
Fantastic place. Cocktails fantastic🍹.Our waitress Sarah was outstanding.
Starters were great but our main courses were terrible. My plate was so hot from being under the lamp in the kitchen I burned fingers on it when taking it from the runner. My pasta had clearly been waiting under the heat for a long time (probably being the first dish made) because all of the sauce had dried up, the rocket was wilted, and the pasta itself was stuck to the bowl with the texture of play dough, not to mention completely unseasoned; not exactly the “creamy Cajun” dish I was looking forward to. My friends burger was pretty cold so he only ended up taking a couple of bites sadly. We were never checked upon during our meal and never asked what was wrong when cleared even though a lot of food had been left. Never a chance to complain as the waiter was never to be seen except when at the table. Dessert menus took almost 10 minutes to arrive, after that we just decided to pay and leave. Countless careless mistakes, as a waitress myself I was shocked, it may have been a busy night but the staff should be more than capable of handling a full section, nevermind the kitchen cooking for tables and not just when the checks come in. Wouldn’t go again, throughly disappointed.
As always the food and service is great 5*
i enjoyed my birthday, we got a complementary cake and a song
Really good service and a fantastic atmosphere. Will definitely com back soon
Very helpful and considerate in dealing with food allergies.
We waited over 50 minutes for food then all the accompaniements listed on the menu thatcame with the main meal like salad coleslaw etc was not on the plate
Reasonable range of vegan options
Ruairaidh was a fab host....made the evening very relaxed and fun! Will be back 😉
The seating is very tight now Not much room. Seems to be very pushed for space. Excellent service. Wonderful staff
We visit Tgis every few months. I have a severe nut allergy and it is one of the few places I feel at ease eating, and the staff usually bend over backwards to accommodate and provide excellent service. However our visit yesterday was less than excellent, I would go as far as saying a shambles. We had a table booked for half past 5 however did not get seated until quarter to 6.the ma ager came and took my order, for my allergy, and we also ordered drinks. It took 45 minutes for the starter to arrive!! By this point we were onto our second cocktail and my appetite was beginning to deminish after such a wait. When our main was brought out, I had also ordered a side of fries which was completely forgotten about.i had to ask for them, and they arrived at our table after myself and my boyfriend had already finished our meals... Not much of a side. The young waitress was very apologetic, however the manager was cleaning tables around us during the course of the meal and chose to ignore us instead of asking how our food was, when we were clearly annoyed. Yes, our starters and fries were not included on the bill, however the whole inconvenience of waiting around was ridiculous. On us leaving, the manager was keen to blame the kitchen staff, she stated our visit had been a "shambles" and that she was going to go and shout at them for this.
Food was really good, drinks very also good...just a bit expensive for what it was.
Very friendly and assuring staff. Helpful and smiling!
Great service with lovely food & a great atmosphere. Cocktails a little on the pricey side but they are very nice and worth it for a good girls night.
So friendly and helpful
Arrived at 2:40pm as reserved for 3pm got 2coctaiks @£9.99 each mostly filled with ice, tables where too small for my friend 2 sit on & we had to get moved twice, we ordered Sharing platter chicken nachos as well as another 4 cocktails food was ROTTEN rubbery over cooked, managment & staff could no have done amymore the food just really ruined my friends birthday meal
Great service from staff who went over and above to ensure everyone at our table was enjoying their meal, food was delicious and cocktails were amazing as usual :)
Great service, fantastic food as always
The waitress Shannon made the experience worthwhile.
Managers were knowledgeable about my food intolerances. However the service was beyond shocking. Not enough cutlery, asked twice and still didn't receive any. I had to pinch someone elses. By this time the other diners with me were almost finished eatong and my food was cold.Asked for mayonnaise for my overcooked tasteless gluten free burger twice, i had to go to the kitchen door myself to catch a member of staff. (The gluen free bun could have broken windows, it was rock hard) Our main course left overs and dirty plates were left on our table until desert arrived even though a waiter had been to our table twice. Had to ask for cutlery for deserts as the waiter put them on the table and left. A manager had to tell a waiter to take our leftovers away. Thankfully 2 1/2 hours after we arrived we left, the deserts were kindly removed from the bill by management for as an apology for the terrible service. We did not feel the need to leave a tip seeing as the service was so bad however, when we paid in cash the girl disappeared with the money and didn't come back with our change. It was only a few pence but thats irrelevant, by this point we just wanted out of there. Possibly one of the worst dining experiences. Wont be back Only given 2 stats for food and drink because the cocktails were pretty good
