Although quite noisy the atmosphere is just great
Service took a long time throughout the time we were there.
Avery enjoyable evening with a superb waitress
Our waitress was absolutely great and the food was unexpectedly good - my steak was a really nice piece of meat, perfectly cooked for me. But above all this was the help I received later in searching for my Kindle, which I thought I might have dropped in the restaurant. All the staff went out of their way to help search for it. (It wasn't there - eventually found at my airline's lost property!) Thanks to all the staff - I will definitely be back next time I'm down.
Far too warm. Staff seemed unhappy. Not the normal level of TGI service that I've had in Brighton or London.
The rest of my family’s food was fine yet I had the worst steak ever.. I asked for medium-well and it came out very well done, it was dry as if it had been cooked the day before. Very disappointed with my £18 dinner! Although this was deducted from the bill this experience has put me off returning in a hurry.
Server wasn't very cheerful. Seated at small table for two right beside door when wasn't busy Only value for money with voucher. Something I ate made me very ill that evening too.
Sadly we could not attend on Monday the 7th although we arrived, you had closed due to technical issues which would have been fine because it happens but we had not been told about this until we arrived, abit annoying after driving from all the way from waterlooville after getting ready to have a nice anniversary meal to find out you're closed and the only other option was Southampton, it was a shame that we didn't know about this until actually arriving and it put a not very nice spin on the evening
Service was amazing
Popular with the family as always, this visit was to celebrate a birthday.
I did not catch the name of our Waiter, but he was polite and informative about the food and drinks. Food was served in a timely fashion and to a high standard. For a Thursday evening, the atmosphere was just about right.
Tilly was lovely and friendly even though she was clearly very busy :)
Food is nice but nothing amazing and pretty expensive, only came as my sons birthday and he chose
Great food and great service would recommend it.
The service has definitely improved here which is great, we will start to use more often again. Food was lovely and the balloons and Happy Birthday song were great for my son.
Didn’t have cutlery, even after starter arrived and I asked for cutlery we waited 4 mins at least a until I caught the eye of a different waitress and asked again. Our waitress was trying her best but had too many tables to look after and as a result the service suffered. Food was good, just wish you had more staff or less guests as the service is the one thing that continually disappoints
Was very busy waitress seemed like she was over working, waited nearly 20 minutes for drinks only for them to come out at different times. One of the food orders was wrong. Left feeling disappointed with the amount of money we spent.
I took my daughter and some of her friends to celebrate her birthday. The server for our area was very nice, and made a fuss of my daughter. However the whole thing was let down by appallingly slow food service. The starter came out in a reasonable time, however we then waited well over an hour for the main meals. It wasn't a complicated order, 2 kids burgers, 2 kids hot dogs and an adult burger so no excuse for how slow it was. Whilst it was reasonably busy when we left it wasn't when we got there and ordered so again no excuse there. We won't be back.
Myself and my partner went to your Fareham store and had a booking for 7pm. We had a film reserved for 8.30pm at whiteley and 1.3hr is plenty of time to sit eat and finish. Wrong. Our starter didn’t come out till 7.30 and then our main a couple of mintures before 8. We received no service bar delivery of our food and we were late to a film we paid for. Bearing in mind our food cost over £40 the service was awful. We had to rush our main (not enjoyable to do) so we could make the film on time and even then when trying to collar someone for the bill - non existent staff. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. To top it off we made it clear on the booking that it was our anniversary to which there was no acknowledgement - topped off the evening.
Music was very loud. My son required a gluten free popcorn sundae which was on the menu but was then told the popcorn had gluten in it. I appreciate that the manger was very cautious for which I am grateful but why have it on the GF menu if it’s not gluten free
I had an amazing time at TGI and the service was amazing but if I did have to give one bit of feedback it would be that cups should be checked, when my drink was served to me there seemed to be a piece of paper or tissue stuck in the inside of the cup even before I had touched it but apart from that my time at TGI was wonderful
Fab night as always but atmosphere was dampened by the screaming children sat close to us. Our server Alex was brilliant.
It’s always very noisy however a member of staff turned music up so loud no one could hear themselves , totally spoilt the point of going out to talk, food was ok had endless app, at times waited ages for food,
Great birthday experience
Amazing as always
