Me and my partner booked a table for a anniversary meal, we walked in and waited 35 minutes, waitress's walked back and fourth, no one spoke to either of us, just got ignored and waited, we eventually left and went some where else, anniversary meal was very un enjoyed and i don't wish to return
Joe was excellent, great food, came out really hot and was very tasty.
Food was amazing and staff were too!
Service wasn’t the best I’ve had there! We booked online but still had to cue for a while for a table. There wasn’t anyone for a long time at the front desk seating people which was quite frustrating. Once seated our server did her best but did mention she was handling more tables than usual due to low staff. She did however apologise for the wait throughout the evening. Food wasn’t too bad!
It was just really busy and loud and the atmosphere was a bit mental hearing them do the clappy song every 10 mins on top of everything else that was going on
We met at TGI with some friends for a meal. The service we experienced was awful. We were waiting for our meal for an hour and then waiting with the dirty plates asking for dessert menus again for oven an hour. We ended up not having a dessert and waiting a long time again after waiting for the bill. The staff ignored our table a number of times and when attend the table were very in-polite. We have previously been to TGI and had great experiences but this was terrible, would not recommend this venue to anyone or come and visit again.
Amazing place absolutely love coming here staff are so friendly and never pushing you to leave
All staff were lovely, happy to help at all times even when they were really busy.
Service was slow, kids meal of chicken Wraps was very poor and the amount of food for 6.49 was ridiculous. We were told that it used to be bigger but some of the Wraps had been taken off. Should there not have been something to replace them and warrant the very over the top price. Milkshakes also were overpriced for the size. We ordered bottled lager and received pints! There was no mention of draft beer on the drinks menu!! The ramakin that my 5 year old daughters veg sticks were in was dirty and cracked with the bottom broken and sharp edges exposed! The toilets were filthy with no toilet paper and there was only 1 bar staff on. It was a rare family outing and the whole experience really ruined our day out. Would be very reluctant to go back to the Derby branch. Terrible!!
Lovely service, kept my 3 year old entertained.
I came for my birthday meal with my friends and I would just like to say a special thank you to Jordan and Ruby who gave outstanding service and were just lovely members of staff.
Quicker on service, more attentive. All TGI’s are the same, sometimes slow at greeting at the door. Get seated, takes a while for a waiter to finally come to you. Then the drinks can take a while get to you. Food wait isn’t too bad depending on what you order. Then when you ask for the bill and that can also take a while before they return with the receipt and tray and complete by taking another few minutes to get to you with change from money or the card machine. Too slow
The staff were doing their best but seemed very stretched. We had to wait a while for our drinks and food orders to be taken. The music was also far too loud so it all felt a bit frantic. We enjoyed our meal though and will be back.
The staff were so welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel relaxed. Our server was Lottie M and she was lovely and friendly.
Hannah was so nice and bubbly made visit 100% good
Fantastic service, staff were brilliant and helped us out with our allergies and anything else we needed.
Waitesss was lovely, dinner was great as always
Hate that you make people give credit card detail for booking/reserving. It actually stops us going to TGI some of the time.
Brilliant. Great value for money! And excellent customer service. We had a brilliant time.
Really great service we had Lottie who was really lovely.
We have had a major problem with the food on this particular visit. The lettuce that was served was full of dirt, only realised this as I lifted the dressing from the leaves it was that dirty there is no way it had been washed. This was sent back to the kitchen and apologies came from manager along with reassurance the salad would be sanitised going forward. This was simply worrying given that salad is one of the worst food for food poisoning causes. Service was nice but not sure whether I would trust the kitchen with salad or uncooked food again
Staff were a great help and everything ran smoothly. Thanks!
The waiter rushed our food and brought us mains while we were still eating our starter. It was booked for a birthday of which was never mentioned by the staff. We had to ask for cutlery, napkins and sauce. The potato skins were burnt with hardly any cheese or bacon. Overall worst experience I’ve ever had in the restaurant and I wish I’d booked somewhere else.
Really good night
