The food was not that bad, but the service we received was beyond bad. Because of this I would never recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family. The waitress was really bad at serving us.
Struggled to get hold of them via phone on all 3 numbers including the number listed under sin International and Times square. We wanted to clarify a few things before we headed there, but that pushed us to look for another option. they only called me in the morning of the day of my booking to check if I was still coming

My question is ,why do bookings if you arrive there , and it looks like you just pitched unannounced. Nobody welcomed us, we were not told where to go, where are the restrooms, nobody attended, or to see to it if if we are familiar with the place. It was just a terrible experience for me. Okay, going back to the bookings, what a mission to communicate to your booking team, you call thousands time, send email with no response( dropped in a dark hole), while, even when not happy with everyone, it was only Caroline who will bother to assure and return calls.Your management team need a serious revamping and or training.If there is someone not doing his/her job take that person and train or discipline.There was a gentle in his suit, assumed is a manager...I wonder what wasyou his duty?? Have to nag for service...because the lady who promise to attend to us , she was running like a headless chicken because she had to serve many tables and clearly not coping. She tried, but she had two hands and two legs. I wonder how that motivates your staff to work under such conditions. Had worked in hospitality and, that was such a disappointing level of service. I hope this is not just one of the routine feedback...you seriously need to sort your house, you are spoiling a nice area due to unprofessional level of service delivery.
Please keep up with great service. Everything was wonderful. The only problem is that some of the main course items were on the other side of desserts. Please place all the main course on one table
Good day After I specifically made a booking online to avoid any hiccups or uncomfortable situations, nobody knew about me when I arrived at your establishment and I was waved off in a direction, instructing me to 'sit wherever you want'. I did just that, and was promptly ignored for the next 10 minutes. I then got up and approached the hostess, asking her if it seemed that I could not afford to eat at your establishment, seeing that everybody ignored me? She informed me that it was a 'self help' buffet and I wasn't being ignored. Only after I again enquired as to why other people around me were being served beverages and I was not, did, she agree to go and 'get' me someone to help me. The waitress that was sent to help me was very friendly and when my friend joined me about 15 minutes later I could not complain about the service. Here are a few tips for you in future though: 1. Not all affluent people are dressed in Gucci and Vuitton. Sometimes we wear Guess jeans and plain T-shirts like normal folks. 2. If I walk into your establishment and the first thing you tell me is that breakfast is R200 do I still want a seat it a) does not create a very good impression and b) doesn't make me feel particularly welcome. 3. You should heed to your client's requests when they book electronically. After reading my specific booking enquiry and being made aware of my booking request, your host would have known to treat me correctly. That being said, she should treat every single person walking through your doors like they are a potential client, and subsequently someone paying her salary. That goes for your waiting staff too. 4. Next time when you run out of cream, send someone just across the road to Woolies to get you some. It created a VERY bad impression to hear "We ran out of cream" at 10.30 in the morning. I do not think that I will return to Tatso, or that I will recommend you to anyone. Apparently you don't need my business anyway so I'm sure you won't mind. And anyway, I don't like to be embarrassed and humiliated on an empty stomach - it's bad for my ulcer.
The R75 for kids between the ages of 2 and & 7 is unfair. My kid is 3 years old and she had a grain of rice, piece of meat and dessert. I felt robbed
The restaurant is beautiful and spacious.Thanks to the Manager Nicholas and his team for their hospitality and being available for assistance when needed. You guys made the day extra special. We have found our spot and will definitely come back.
Service was excellent and food was great
me and the group of ladies we have trully and fully enjoyed the meal and the service generally the staff was so welcoming , i can freely recommend someone to visit the place as i have already started

I've been to most of the baffes yours was the wost compared to all,I WANT MY MONEY BACK.
Drinks are part of meals, and you dont provided choices. No juice, the still water looked and tasted like refill from the tap. I politely ask that they arrange some sort of a birthday surprise for some one special, they agreed but it never came. Generally the standard of Food needs improvement. I doubt if i will ever be back. The waiter, Elizabeth did her best but she is only a human being.

It was a great environment and the staff were just amazing and friendly. Not to mention the amazing food that was presented at the buffet.
Firstly - I was sent a promotion that was only applicable to MVG GOLD card members - no one told people that and everyone started to leave as a result. Long lines just to enter was quite a put-off and then long lines just to dish food. Very few options are available for starches or even mains and the desserts like custard and malva etc are watered down and bakery stuff quite hard and STALE. No CUPS at drinks station and then again no juice coming out of it. No bowls or plates or cutlery were replaced on time and a bad attitude from the workers there. WHAT A DISGRACE - I WILL NEVER COME BACK AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHITHOLE TO ANYONE ELSE!!!!
Made a reservation when I got there I had to wait in a cue for 45minutes when i asked about my reservation they said because to MVG clients are paying R75 there were no space, had to pay R195 and half of the food was not there.
No name on type of food being served especially with the stews. Couldn't see beef from lamb. Not a bad experience on the whole.
We were very pleased by the service we received from tatso. Food was perfect and atmosphere was very good. Welcoming staff as well .thank you.
Dinner seemed understaffed, food, especially desert finished very soon. I will prefer to go for lunch.
