I had a great meal here the staff were friendly and best of all looked out for you. The food really was beautiful I ended ordering too much as usual lol but I cook everyday and I can say the chef's here knew what they were doing. Definitely give this place a try had a fantastic evening.
Great and friendly service food excellent no rush keep up the standards see you all soon Paul and janet Pleva 👍👍
It was lovely to be able to dine out again. The outside area was well set up - perhaps needed heaters but blankets were provided. Enjoyed lunch.
What a lovely restauraunt. The staff, food, atmosphere are all fantastic. This is a little gem of a place.
We were disappointed with 4 of the 9 courses we were served. 2 were overcooked and 2 were very bland and we felt didn’t work. Also a couple of the wines picked didnt really go with they were paired with, and the Wines paired with the dishes were not Spanish! I am sure there are lots of amazing Spanish wines that they could have chosen. The food is very over priced for the quality and flavours. The staff were very informative and knew the dishes well, but made them sound more amazing than they were.
Absolutely gorgeous food and great atmosphere
Service was excellent and the food was just incredible, went for my girlfriends Birthday and could not have picked a better place to celebrate.
Food was very average, nothing special at all. Salmon- not very tasty & overcooked. The tuna Tartare didn’t look very fresh, and gave me a bad stomach once home, Best dish was the scallops. Quality of ingredients wasn’t great, seemed like they were cutting corners.
The food is easily the best in manchester, there is nowhere else id choose to go for a really special meal. The staff are so lovely and also knowledgable about every aspect of the menu and really put you at ease. It’s just a lovely experience, in the past we’ve just popped in for snacks and drinks at the bar and that is also of the highest quality.
On entering Tast I liked the simple unpretentious style in the bar downstairs, which makes you feel relaxed. All the staff were friendly and helpful making you very welcome. The cleanliness everywhere, was exemplary. I have a tried a fair few different tasting menus at a variety of restaurants, what drew me to this one, was the particular Catalonian style, which is very seafood oriented. I can honestly say I have never tried any food quite like this anywhere. The A Modo De Salpicon looked beautiful and tasted even better. The Sole and the Poussin were examples of how simple foods can be elevated by quality precise cooking being complemented with little extra pieces of flavour. The wine pairings were excellent and complemented each course as they should. All the waiters were excellent, explaining each dish with excitement and knowledge. The sommelier also explained each wine and went beyond with some explanations. I liked the way but both the waiters and sommelier were also prepared to talk to you if asked and we’re never rushed or rushed you. The Enxaneta restaurant was spotless with big thick white tablecloths which I feel is a must in fine dining restaurants. The time between courses was just right, never feeling that we had to wait too long or were rushing our food for the next course. An excellent touch at the end, was for the executive chef Alejandro to introduce himself to our table, proud of what he had just delivered and wanting to know what we thought. Full makes all round for this little gem of a restaurant in Manchester. I hope it stays around for a long time and can weather the COVID storm.
Our first time visiting Tast and it will most definitely not be our last, the restaurant itself is very tastefully set out (and very safely too), the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic (nice drop of Rioja too) an absolute 10/10
Amazing meal, great staff and felt well looked after! Will 100% be returning
Food was delicious, staff were really helpful and friendly! I especially liked the croquettas and xuixo.
Disappointing experience. Table booked for 7.30 - drinks order taken 15 mins after sitting down, first dish served 45 mins after first sitting. Some of the dishes bland and curiously for a fine dining restaurant seemed to lack seasoning. Service was poor with a barely there waiter.
Enjoyable evening! A lovely wedding gift from friends. Thank you Linda & Jeff.🤗
Slightly disappointed in the red wine otherwise would have given the food and drink section 5 stars. Excellent service we had a lovely evening.
We had a lovely meal and found the staff extremely polite and welcoming. We shall be back.
Fabulous evening with delicious food. Flawless and friendly service.
Food, Service and attention to detail was great. Would 100% recomend. Thanks to the TAST team!
Olives were amazing, as were the lamb and salmon.
Dining at Enxaneta transports you to an ethereal state of mind. Each course, and there’s many, is intricate, demonstrates exceptional technique and most importantly, is delicious! For example, they used liquid nitrogen to freeze basil pesto served on burrata - elevating what could be a heavy course it to a lighter balanced dish. Additionally, another great demonstration of technique was how they made a crepe from milk, only milk. They reduced it for hours before letting the fats and sugars to concentrate enough to make a firm and flavoursome ‘crepe’. We had the wine flight and each was perfectly paired for the course. The waiters knew each course and wine inside out. Truly fantastic and, although not cheap by any means, it was worth every penny.
Our third visit since reopening in July. As always a great experience, great food and excellent service.
Wonderful evening as always. Will be back again soon.
We were made to feel welcome and the food delicious. Next time we’ll try the fine dining!
