About Szechuan Court
Szechuan Court | Level 3 | Fairmont Singapore |
Diners who have missed the inimitable Szechuan Court at Fairmont Singapore can soon look forward to the well-loved restaurant’s return, in a new pop-up concept of Canton Garden which showcases the much celebrated regional Chinese cuisine of elaborate and exquisitely presented Cantonese fare.
Renowned for serving some of the finest Szechuan and Cantonese delicacies, Szechuan Court’s new attentively crafted pop-up Canton Garden menu spotlights the latter cuisine giving tribute to time-honoured tradition through a modern lens. Impressively executed classic Cantonese dishes pay homage to Master Chef Mok Wan Lok’s Hong Kong heritage, while modern sensibilities are applied to their presentation with deft culinary theatrics and tableside finishes to complement the experience.
The best way to Szechuan Court will be via the lifts and escalators from Raffles City Shopping centre and not via the Fairmont Singapore Lifts as it is not operational.
* Do note that there is no Dim Sum a la carte buffet till further notice.
Excellent location and good ambience. Ideal for spicy and strong taste food lovers. Very good service.
Food was great but was kinda of disappointed that when food was ready to serve, it was left at corner for a long while and i have to go over to inform the waitress our food was lying there and no one seem to notice it.
Despite the Friday evening crowds, the staff Qiu Hui, Fion, Evan, Mabel still ensured that my table was well taken care of. Thank you so much for the service.
Always good and enjoyable. Our grandsons love every morsel. At that early hour, Dinner was sheer bliss; the crowds had not arrived. Hehehe.
Excellent food and service. Thank you
The crab meat soup was Luke warm when served. It should be served hot
Most of the signature dishes are exceptionally good
Most of the food are serve cold. Only prawn dumpling are hot when serve. Soup, fried rice, Chilli fried chicken etc aren't warm. Kinda sad for a 1st time visitor like me.
New concept - change in Cuisine from Sze Chuan to Cantonese. Miss the original Sze Chuan dishes. It would have been better to have a mix of the new dishes and the old favourites. There are many good Cantonese restaurants in Singapore - far fewer good Sze Chuan restaurants - especially those more traditionally "Singaporean-style" Sze Chuan restaurants." Don't get me wrong though the food was good, just not what I was looking forward to.
I had a dinner with 2 friends and we totally enjoyed the food. We have had an enjoyable experience a good time of catching up.I will definitely come again.
Fantastic place for family (even with a baby) and also for group gatherings. I even came here for valentines day in 2020 and 2021! Great service from Ms Foo and team.
Most of the dishes that I ordered were palatable and delicious except for the fried hor fun with chicken meat. It was disappointing as it was very plain and I did not see any pieces of chicken in the hor fun. It looked like plain dark soya sauce fried hor fun. I would expect more ingredients to be included in the fried hor fun.
Friday night ,we ordered 6 dishes and 3 desserts. The groupa fish fried with asparagus and the pork collar meat fried wth kailan was very salty. The presentation for one of the dessert yam with chestnut, the way they piped out the yam look a bit disgusting like "Poo " under the dim lighting. suggest they change the presentation on the dessert. Overall the food are nice and i love the popcorn chicken fried with dried chilles and sprinkle with nuts
a. good service b. place too cold c. menu fonts too small. had to use phone torch to see
Fabulous service, food is delicious and one of our favorites Chinese restaurants in Singapore. Highly recommended.
Service staffs polite, friendly and helpful. Food quality is good but Dim Sum choice is limited. Will be back again.. .
I would like to commend the wonderful service provided by the staff Qiu Hui, Janet and Fion. They have indeed made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Our dining experience at Szechuan Court has been consistently excellent! Good food 😋, comfortable 🌸 safe environment and excellent services 😊
This was one meal in peace and quiet, for a change. It's a blessing to have considerate diners around you, not people who talk and laugh loud, incessantly.
accor Monday promo good
Had to wait a few minutes for table to be cleared, but once seated service is very good.
Good food with good service. Price point is slightly higher than other Chinese restaurants probably because of their location.
Overall, very good place to dine though there seems to be short of staff. One suggestion is the smoking of the duck, it can be displayed in front of customers, maybe quite interesting part of eating experience
Missed the dim sum they used to serve. Now the selection is a lot lesser. With the change to Canton, pls bring back the dim sums.
Great food and a pleasant and relaxed birthday meal. Great attentive service.
