Excellent service when making reservation.
good food good ambience and very hospitable staff. Thank you.
I come to this reaturant several times. Always happy with the food. But as I was sitting at the booth, it was hard to call out to the servixe staff.
Most dishes exceeded our expectations (especially the venison). Service speed could be improved as I had waited for quite sometime for the next dish after yusheng.
We had an early reunion dinner and from the packed restaurant, many others as well. We were pleasantly surprised at the speed at which our food order was delivered to the table given the crowd. Staff were stretched to manage the crowd but service was prompt and we had little difficulty catching their attention, kudos to their brisk pace.
Good service. Some dishes are too.
Food slightly too salty.. otherwise all is good..
Consistently good food and excellent service in a very convenient and attractive location!
When I called reservations the first person who took my call said the system was down and will call the restaurant to make the booking and call me back. He never did. I had to call again and it took a while for confirmation while I remained on the line.
We felt some dishes were not done well and some were.
The taste so so only..
F&B service was slow for a night with few customers. A table in a corner when few tables were occupied felt more like we were an imposition and put out-of-the-way rather than being seated for a private dinner.
Quick response to queries on messenger - good. Food - thumbs up to kitchen staff. However, service by managers could be better. Service provided by a particular staff was adequate but without a smile. No greetings or wishes to my Mom aged 76 on her birthday despite restaurant offering birthday treat, so ironic. Managers did not assist after lunch, even though we stood up, looked around trying to find the wheelchair that was kept away. Because of the birthday treats, we gave extra tips $20 which then brought smile to the earlier staff. Quite sad to have such servers in this industry.
Food is pricy and it's good is not fantastic. I've had tasted the food in Sze Chuan Court years back and remembered it been quite good. Yesterday's dim sum was a disappointment. Cha Siew was a little to sweet for my liking. The crab bao was nothing to shout about. $17 for 4 crab bao was a little too much to stomach. The only consolation as the 600g crab vermicelli is considered slightly better then the rest.

Awesome service and food!
Good selection of Szechuan cuisine Love the wasabi prawns and beef cubes and Chrngdu spicy fish slices
Was not too pleased by the waitress who ushered me and my visitor from Korea in. I requested for a bigger table since I'm always in the habit of ordering many dishes. The waitress refused to give us a bigger table on the grounds they were all reserved. I did order many dishes and had trouble fitting them on the small table we were given. The tables which were supposedly reserved remained unoccupied till the point we finished our lunch and left. We also experienced a big time gap between each dish being delivered. Ended up not being able to enjoy the food collectively as how such sittings were meant to. Lots of room for improvement on those fronts - my honest opinion.
Spicy taste which is a signature of Sze Chuan cuisine may have been watered down to suit international patrons. Food is ok but not to expectation of the cuisine.
John the Manager was really very good . He helped us on the ordering of the menu and also made sure that all was in order . He took the extra effort in making the Dinning a very good experience at Fairmount . Honestly I have tried a number of Restuarant at Fairmount and all your Managers and Staff are very exceptional compare to other Hotel . I felt I am Coming home at Fairmount Hotel for all my dinning . Thanks to Alka for introducing the dinning experiences to me Honestly the Management must be very proud of the Hotel as it has changed quite well .
Great food and good service...
