Thank you very much to Fion, the Manager for highlighting to one of the staff to "take good care" of my family and I on 18 Aug for dinner, as she was on half day on that day. We are very honoured and thankful. Indeed, we will well taken care of!
Service is good. Ambience is nice too. I went there at least 3 times now. Unfortunately the food taste is average. Therefore it’s definitely not value for money if you are paying full price. But 50% disc using amex platinum card will still attract me to return for a quick chinese meal. I hope the food taste can improve. Just use crystal Jade restaurant as benchmark will help them to improve.
This was a service recovery incident. Surprised to get the offer and happy to be back to the consistent high quality of food and service at Szechuan Court. Special thanks to Fion, Mabel and the team
During the reservation and planning of the celebration dinner for 22 pax, Li Min had been very helpful and responsive which makes the planning very easy. On the night itself, append are the comments. 1. Most of food is too salty especially the soup of the day as well as the most expensive dish of the night, the cod fish, to the extend the guest with very strong seasonable taste buds have to use the Chinese tea to wash off the saltiness. Reason given on the night is that the 2nd Chef is in charge but that should be that far off from the general standard of SzeChuan Court. 2. Vegetables in stock and beef is good. 3. One of the the waitress attending to the main table where the star of the night is seated probably had a bad day as she has black face all night with un-attentive service which is uncommon in a 5-star hotel dining. 4. Nice cosy restaurant with few patrons, if one would like privacy and not mindful of the food or service.
Food, service was perfect and value for money is main attraction. Restaurant does look like it can do some touch ups in terms of the furnishings/the whole look and feel.
Good food and service, enjoyed the dinner.
Good service & staff with initiative, polite & helpful. Know their products well to give good recommendations.
My family been visited szechuan court very frequently. We loved the food and the staff service was always good. However, yesterday during the meal my son accidentally broke his drinking glass. The captain did came to help to clean the broken glass. He is very helpful and patient as the restaurant is almost full. My husband later tell 1 of the old waiter that he needs a new cloth as his has some broken glass. When the old waiter turns to get it 3 of my family members heard him mumble vurgal words. We are very angry , and we didnt order our flavour desert mango pudding, black bean pan cake etc... that is must to order. We left the place with very unsatisfactory mood. We might consider not to visit szechuan court for awhile.
Good service. Food was served in good time. Food was nice.
utilised group dining discount voucher
Please convey my thanks and appreciation to Mabel and Sean for being so wonderful.
Average food with limited selection
Nice food and good service
Great food and service
My order of Har kow came at the end of the meal after all the dishes had been served and we had finished eating. Very disappointed by this
Birthday Treat was great value.
Should have L portion for certain item as M is too little for 10 pax to share. Can add more variety.
Foods are tasty Prices are resonable
The food was disappointing compared to the other szechuan restaurant at Beach Road esp the Sweet & Sour soup and the chicken appetiser. Fried rice was the best.
Good except limited lunch ala-carta menu selection now.
The food standard had went up and the services are good.
Great experience with 50% promotion for birthday celebration of my mother in law.
We ordered the dessert Cream of Pomelo Sago, Mango and it was a real disappointment. The dessert consist too much evaporated milk with no mango and Pomelo . It was too sweet with no sago. The dessert really spoil the ending part of the meal.
