I had the loveliest birthday dinner ever :)
LOVE THE DECOR! The restaurant and bar looks great and will definitely be coming back. Great place for friends, date as well as client entertainment. The food was delicious and looked fantastic! The plates are beautiful. Slightly pricey but you worth it for the atmosphere, service and great food.
We had a lovely meal and a great waiter but your girl on the front desk was very unfriendly and rude. We were meeting a friend who had arrived earlier and was at the table but the girl downstairs wouldnt let us up because she said the reception area was full. The front hall was freezing so we made our way up regardless and found that the reception area was clear and there was no reason to be waiting downstairs. First impressions are very important and to be greeted warmly and in a welcoming manner is very important, especially for restaurants newly opened.
Great service and ambience
Waited too long to get our table even after our reserved time had passed, the waiter seemed rude and we waited ages to receive the bill which I then told him we would not be paying service charge so he then went to get the new bill when I had already asked for the card machine and instead we waited a further 15 mins for the new bill and another 10 mins after this to finally pay
Great food, attentive service, very pleasant evening, hope to do it again soon
Really amazing flavours in all the dishes
The food was fab and great location. Our waitress was lovely however the wine (being served from another waiter) took a very long time to arrive – in fact we had 3 of our sushi dishes already on our table. When the bill arrived we had been charged the wrong wine and rather than accepting that, the wine waiter was extremely rude and condescending. After calling the manager over, it was finally resolved. Shame the evening had to end in such a way as I have always loved taking friends to the Sushi Samba in Liverpool Street.
Beautiful venue, great atmosphere but the food let us down. I'm Brazilian and the moqueca was really bad. The moqueca it's made of fish and prawns. The one I had tasted was only coconut milk. Very disappointed with the food.
Our waitress was called Paulina and she was lovely
Impeccable service. Very good experience. Will definitely come again.
would definitely come here so much more if I was rich
Great food and nice staff!
Was wonderful, thank you for making my boyfriend’s Birthday so special!
As always great food and presentation. The ceviche is amazing, but I have a comment about the dessert "Welcome to the rain forest" besides all the green decoration I found one non-edible stone. I tested before, but do not like the idea of having something that cannot be eaten (and that can damage my teeth) mixed with other stuff that was meant to be eaten. I don't really understand it will be so easy recreate a stone with chocolate...
Waitress didn’t know much about the cocktails and tequila we asking about the service was slow at the bar...
Food is glorious and good fun, intense flavours. Menu is a bit confusing. Service for food was slow (one plate didn’t come out and we had to ask and then wait) and sake took forever to arrive. But everyone was helpful and pleasant and I’d go again. A very different experience from the Liv St restaurant in terms of atmosphere.
We visited the restaurant for my sons 12th birthday. We usually go to the sushi samba in the heron tower which we have always enjoyed. My son louis is autistic and loves sushi. We arrived at the restaurant and within 10 minutes the smoke alarm went off twice which completely stressed my son out. While this was going on his father was denied entry and had to wait outside until the situation had been dealt with. The waitress who served us was very good but we received the wrong sushi which stressed my son out even more. We then ordered some white wine , Gavi di gavi. When this waiter poured the wine we advised thim waiter that the wine was not very cold but he did not suggest a different option and we had to put ice in our wine. I would appreciate your feed back
Fantastic. Can't wait to come back
The food was lovely enough, however, our experience was tainted by the poor service from waiter who failed to explain the seafood options on the menu, forgot our drinks, forgot to order the dessert do my friend whos birthday it was and then just gave us the bill, which we didn't ask for. The venue is lovely, food tasty but for the prices you pay it should be a complete 5* service. It was mediocre at best.
A little disappointed about the service. Waiters were a little too pushy and impatient. However, the food was great: amazing Topo roll and black cod!
I was really disappointed with the experience, the service wasn’t up to level as it is at the Liverpool street branch. The music was so bad and boring!!! Nothing special with the food and it was average. I don’t think I’m coming back to this location.
